"Just another asinine and reprehensible physician in a long line of them that I keep having the fantastic luck of getting in the town of
," Georgia. I went to him to gain more insight about an abnormal nerve conduction study that he had performed some months before. The test showed, according to the report, that I had nerve damage in my lower back as well as some sort of unspecified neuropathy. During the appointment, I was describing the various aspects of the pain and numbness I was having such as where, when, and how it happens to which he responded, "Well, we're not a pain clinic here". So apparently, describing pain to a doctor nowadays somehow translates into "looking for pain pills". I found the comment to be extremely offensive, but let it slide in order to have some blood tests done to try and find out the cause of the unspecified neuropathy. I didn't know exactly what tests were being done, but i was told they came back "normal". So I asked him during the subsequent appointment what tests were done and he responded that he "only tested me for things that were curable". So I guess that means that whatever is causing it is incurable and therefore neither he (nor I) needs to know what that might be. Absolutely outrageous.

"Wrong exam seemed to zero in on diagnosis while blowing my input away. Each of the MRI's done, total of three, were charged at 5500.00 grossly overcharged." Gross greed. After several months of treatment I was finally given an appointment with a neurosurgeon who in five mins arrived at the correct diagnosis. Waste time, money, and as is said time is nerves.

The benefit is not in "choosing" a provider that is listed on AL - it is in using AL to screen potential providers before choosing one by looking at their ratings and reading the reviews prior customers havae posted, so you get a preview up-front of what people like or dislike about them. You can also google the doctors names combined with the word - complaints - to see other blogs and comments about specific doctors - there are also a few medical-specific review sites out there. In dealing with a specialist like a neurologist, your regular general medical provider can also provide recommendations. And be sure if your insurance company requires it (almost a certainty) that you have a referral from your general doctor AND insurance company pre-approval IN ADVANCE of the first visit if you want his/her services to be covered by your insurance.

She has been absolutely wonderful with trying to diagnose issues I've had for years. Scheduling was fine and she was on-time for the appointment. They even helped with filling out the forms. Her follow up was good and we are in progress of moving forward with testing.

His office staff seems to change quite a bit, and whenever I ask them if Dr.
Oregon City Neurologists Provider Name Locked
is difficult to work for they say no. 99 percent of the staff are great, but there is one young girl working there now who thinks she's God's gift to the world and works at her pace which is when she feels like it. Other than dealing with her, everything is great.

My regular pediatrician sent me to Dr.
Oregon City Neurologists Provider Name Locked
in December. I was then given a referral and called to set up an appointment. When I called I was told that the dr would not be able to see my son until March. I took the appointment just to get something locked down. So, we wait and wait and wait. Finally, my son's appointment date rolls around. We take him out of school early and drive a tired little boy over to the office. We arrive more than 30 minutes early as instructed by his staff the day before. We checked in and I gave the receptionist all of our insurance info and the referral that we were given by our pediatrician. The receptionist told me that even though the referral had the correct name of the dr we were seeing that the address was not correct. She then informed me that I had 20 minutes to get that faxed over of my appointment would be canceled. I rushed to my cell phone and tried calling my son's pediatrician to get it changed. Finally, about 10 minutes before my son's appointment was due to be canceled I got my peds office to change the address and they said they would fax it over within 5 minutes. I then went up to the front to start filling out the regular paper work. The rude receptionist looked at me and said, "you have 1 minute". So, I took the paper work and sat down. I explained to her that I had been trying to get the address changed for over an hour. She saw me sitting on the phone struggling to get the address changed on the referral. I walked up there to return my paper work and she stated that my appointment had been canceled and that Dr.
Oregon City Neurologists Provider Name Locked
REFUSED to see my son. At that point I walked out and will never see this dr. again. I will also make sure that no one that I know will go see him either. This is not a dr. that needs to be seeing children. Save yourself some time and go see another dr.

It went very good. He takes his time with patients. He is a very good doctor. I am not rushed and he is very thorough. He doesn’t schedule a lot of patients so I can get right in instead of sitting there for a long time waiting to get in. He actually calls me back himself.

Oregon City Neurologists Provider Name Locked
. None of us (his patients) ever complain about the wait, and I do mean wait. We just bring a book or something to do until it's our turn. THIS MAN WALKS ON WATER! I've been his patient for 12 years and not once have I heard anyone say anything negative about him.
It was a follow up appointment to evaluate the changes in my medication. I was totally out of control. After my treatment I am back on goal and doing very well.

Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere, even if you have to go out of town. Dr.
Oregon City Neurologists Provider Name Locked
missed a diagnosis that 3 other doctors and a surgeon confirmed.
Oregon City Neurologists Provider Name Locked
the receptionist gives out medical advice without consulting doctor, and the office is not patient friendly.
I originally saw Dr.
Oregon City Neurologists Provider Name Locked
for another opinion. She said she saw no indication of the condition (cervical dystonia) I have--even though 3 other doctors and a surgeon had all diagnosed me with it. She suggested it was due to a viral infection but gave no additional information, nor did she suggest any possible treatments.
I started going to
Oregon City Neurologists Provider Name Locked
Neurology Associates as my main neurologist, and this time I requested Dr.
Oregon City Neurologists Provider Name Locked
. They stuck me with
Oregon City Neurologists Provider Name Locked
again. 10 days before the appointment I sent in my paperwork, and they called me saying even though I have other insurance they can't see me because my injury was covered by workman's compensation, and they don't take that. Ok fine. I said I have several other problems, one being pain in my leg. WITHOUT SPEAKING TO THE DOCTOR, the receptionist
Oregon City Neurologists Provider Name Locked
said leg pain can be caused by cervical dystonia (work injury), so we still can't see you. I was infuriated. I have had c.d. for 7 years and my leg pain just started. This was very unprofessional and I decided I wanted nothing to do with this practice. It is Feb 10 and I have been waiting since November. Now I have to start all over again!
Unfortunately this is the only neurologist within 100 miles. There was one other but the doctor retired.
Oregon City Neurologists Provider Name Locked
Neurology Associates requires a referral from your P.C. doctor. My doctor sent the referral but DNA claimed they did not have it. My doctor told me DNA does not like ANYONE to call (not even the doctors office) to check on the status. They want you to wait for them to call you. After 3 weeks went by I called and they had no referral. Took another 3 weeks before I was scheduled, and my appointment was 6 weeks after that.

I was kept in the waiting room ONE HOUR AND TWENTY minutes and NO ONE in the practice apologized. When I inquired about the delay and pointed out I had been waiting a long time, the receptionist said: Yeah? So?

The
Oregon City Neurologists Provider Name Locked
said I know you have been waiting a long time.
The NP saiid: its been one of those days. ...More />Dr. M did not acknowledge any delay.

The EMG procedure was never explained and portions had to be repeated because the NP forgot to save the data.

While I truly believe this is not their best or typical work, I am STUNNED by their cavalier attitudes.

Terrible - after waiting in an exam room for test results for 8 hours, when I asked if my family could come in - she said she didn't have time for that. She had me more frightened then anything - She has NO bed side manners.
