    Cousins Customs llc
The quality of their workmanship was terrible. What was supposed to take a few weeks took months. Then they rushed it towards the end just to get a check leaving a lot undone. They didn't even complete projects that were in our written contract! I had to hire someone else to fix the mess they created. I strongly recommend against this company.

    Girard's Home Improvement LLC
This was my first experience using Girards Home Improvement and I would definitely call on Ray again for future projects. Ray is a hard worker who takes pride in his work and is creative in working out solutions for the projects that he's working on. It's always a pleasure to find someone whose broad experience can be called on in dealing with a wide variety of projects.

Jake was very informative when he came to measure for the bid. He had very helpful suggestions about floor types and continuity. I am glad I implemented those suggestions. Steven and his crew did a stellar job of installation. They were prompt, reliable, and a pleasure to work with. I LOVE my new floors; they look great. I was very disappointed to have an additional $750 in additional materials and labor. That amount equates to an additional 21 percent above the bid. I thought the cost overruns were excessive for a $3,500 bid. Apparently Jake needs to work on his bidding skills.

Ivan picked up our flooring and brought it to the house to acclimate. As he was hauling it in he kept looking at our dog, large type golden-doodle. He said we wouldn't be happy with the wood flooring after about six months because of the many scratches the dog would put on the wood flooring. He went to his van and brought back a piece of wood type laminate, took out his keys and scratched it quite hard, then showed it to us. Nothing! Not one scratch! He said we had three days to make up our minds what we wanted. Well, after that we went with a beautiful raised wood grain laminate. We're so glad Ivan shared reality with us on the flooring we originally chose. He came three days later as promised, hauled in the laminate and hauled out the wood flooring. His two man crew tore out our carpeting and one room with oak wood flooring we were thinking of going with (put it in 5 years ago in one room to see if we liked it). They hauled everything off and proceeded to put in our laminate. Ivan even lowered his price since the laminate was less expensive to install. Very honest and fair and quite picky too. Had his guys pull some because he didn't like the look around an eating nook. He had them go under the edges instead of just up to it which does look much better. It took three days to get everything done, on time every day! Very personable guys. Even moved all the furniture for us. Cleaned up every night after work. We're thrilled with our new floors on the main level and the second bath upstairs.

    Macadam Floor And Design
We arrived at 10 am and Karen explained the plan for the 4 hour design session.  She was fully prepared and would document all our choices as we made them, assembling all the samples on the table for us to review and pick from.  After a little more than 2 hours we have selected everything we needed for the interior of our home as well as exterior paint and rock!  Karen could provide us with answers to our questions and was able to help us stay within our budget.  I can't wait to see all of our choices come together as we work with Garrette Custom Homes to build our new home.

In Your Home did a fantastic job! All employees were friendly, courteous, punctual, and respectful. All employees were skilled and reliable, thanks to Rich, Pat, Michael, Mike, Joe. I'd like to recognize Rich, he was amazing. He worked tirelessly every day, and his craftsmanship is top notch. There was water damage under the tub, the house is 1979 vintage. Once the bathroom was gutted, it became clear that the water damage affected the subfloor. The subfloor was 2x6+, not available off the shelf. Rich created, on the fly, tongue n groove replacement boards. Rich did all the elements of the remodel, added windows, carpentry, plumbing, dry wall, flooring, tiling, and all the finish work. We are very happy with both bathrooms. We recommend In Your Home to anyone looking for honest, competent, and reliable home improvement specialists. We, feel the $11,000 for both bathrooms was well worth the investment.

    BSC General Contractors Inc
This was a six week project that started on time and finished within one day of the original schedule. Bryan, Ben, Brian, and the subcontractors went out of their way to maintain the schedule in spite of our occasional change request. The only blip was the flooring supplier could not provide the carbonized bamboo as promised, but the flooring contractor found another source and worked extra to maintain the schedule and budget. Matching the kitchen cabinets was perfect, and the custom built vanity is great. The new floor is incredible! All of the people working on our project were courteous and professional, and went out of their way to minimize disruption to our daily lives. The whole project was a very positive experience. This is our second remodel project with BSC (20+ years apart), and both have turned out as promised and very much enhanced our house.

    Lamont Bros.
We are thrilled! The work is above our expectations! We are extremely happy with both the quality of work as well as the processes Lamont had in place to accomplish our goals. All employees and workers were friendly and polite, communicated effectively, were here on time, and conveyed the status of the job at all times. The project supervisor and his crew had the materials & supplies delivered on time, followed the design to the detail, and scheduled plumbing and electrical without delay, making the whole project run very smoothly. Any questions or concerns we had were addressed immediately, and this responsiveness added to an already positive experience. One additional comment: two items were complicated--having the ceiling patch match the rest of the ceiling, and building an aesthetically pleasing access door through the tile to the tub drain. Both were completed, without a doubt, thoughtfully and artistically. We couldn't be happier, and if we ever have another remodel or construction project, we will call Lamont Bros. Flooring America of Oregon
While there were not many choices of flooring that weren't in the beige palette, we did find ones we liked, only to find out that one had been discontinued. This was the only frustrating moment. So we chose another. This one arrived defective, which the installers noted right away. They called their supervisor who came to see it and met the materials rep here, who also came to inspect it, and a replacement order was placed. All of this was handled very courteously. We were on a very tight turnaround due to some weather delays and then permit delays. They got the install completed in time and the floors look great! They were very tidy, polite and unobtrusive. This company was a pleasure to work with. They were responsive and helpful from the sales team, to the installers to the billing department. Will use again and pass their name along! Can't recommend them highly enough!

    Northwest Restoration
Northwest Restoration hired subcontractors that are not properly licensed and insured, unskilled and unqualified. After I started researching the subcontractors that they were using, it was easy to see that they were not hiring reputable companies. The apprentice plumber installed new water lines under my sink and now the dishwasher will only connect to the cold water, they gave me false license #'s for the plumber, he did not have a journeyman's license. The kitchen floor in not level, a chunk of sub floor broke off leaving a indent in the floor, the counter top is bumpy, cabinet doors and drawers are crooked, they accidentally cut a hole through the siding, the owners son scratched up our truck when he was hauling away debris, I found out halfway through the project that they should have pulled a building permit and I had to insist they get one which led to them having to remove cabinets and remove a section of the sub floor for the inspector to inspect the framing. The owner Jim Clarke tried to talk me out of making them get a permit by telling me that it would delay the project through Christmas and that the inspector might notice other things on my property that aren't up to code. This is just a small example of the problems that I had with them. I filed a complaint with the CCB and ended up settling for a small amount of money, but I regret doing that as it was not enough to fix all the damage.
