    Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Newberg
The plumbers (one in training) arrived on time, were knowledgeable about the job, used quality parts, and worked efficiently to complete the job in a timely manner. They were also very professional, courteous and friendly.

    The Plumbers Inc
Excellent! Staff responsive & professional. Repair completed quickly and left work area clean. Staff also took the time to explain the repair and assisted us with getting the gas turned back on via NW Natural.

    Hills Construction Contracting
The weekend emergency repair was promptly and professionally handled and averted a possibility of water damage to the house . Straight talk, on-time arrival, and reasonable price are much appreciated.

    Gator Plumbing
Tim really knows plumbing. He performed a thorough inspection which included a point by point process of elimination all the while providing information and updates about his findings. Highly recommended.

    MT Dunn Plumbing
The installer was very nice but seemed to have trouble. Ended up breaking my water valve and cutting alot of the existing pipe before finished. When it came time to pay they wanted to charge an extra $40 for using a credit card. Not what I was quoted. The other place I called didn't charge extra for using a credit card. Had to come back a second time because of a leaky new water valve. I would not use MT Dunn Plumbing again.

    Columbia Heating & Cooling Inc
Columbia Heating and Cooling were by far the most knowledgeable and professional company I had an estimate from. The owner, the service techs, and the guys who do the installation were all nice people and easy to work with -- they were careful and thorough, and happy to answer all my questions and problem-solve with me about optimizing our HVAC system. We live in an older house, and they improved airflow to the upper level, added return vents, and advised me on realistic energy saving. They also ran a blower door test. They were so good that when our water heater started to fail, I had them do the replacement. They offer competitive prices and in my experience they spend the extra time with the customer that makes all the difference. I didn't see them as just doing their job -- I saw them as helping me.

    Pipeline Plumbing & Drains
They made space for us and diverted a great plumber who had worked on our house before. This was above and beyond the call of duty. We found the break, and fixed the problem with and engineered a solution that diminished the likelihood of the problem happening again. These guys are great and helped us out by getting our water back on before the weekend. I will always use them for my plumbing needs. You should too.

    Mack Drilling Company, Inc
Mack Drilling was originally contracted to repair a water hydrant at my property in Newberg, OR. The actual part is about a $175 item. When I received a bill for $1200, I called to complain. The business manager agreed that the price was high, and decided to remove $200 from the bill. I then paid the bill.
Some time later, I noticed that the hydrant was leaking. I called Mack to voice my concerns, and their representative stated that the leak was not their fault and that the hydrant could be repaired with the installation of a $25 part. Mack came and installed the part, and indeed the leak was fixed - this time at a cost of $378. I honestly did not know whether to laugh or cry, but decided just to pay the bill. I did so 13 days after the final repair.
Three days after doing this, I received from Mack a finance charge bill for $3.23. Again, I do not know whether to laugh or cry.
Short version: Unless you truly hate your money, do not do business with Mack Drilling.

    Bath Repair & Remodeling Co
We have used Bath Repair & Remodeling in 2010 to do complete remodels on our master as well as main bathrooms and this year (2016) for a major kitchen/living room remodel. This remodel involved removing a load-bearing wall in between the kitchen and living room and installing a huge steel beam in the ceiling as well as supporting posts in the walls.
The kitchen and dining room were taken down to the studs, insulation replaced, new drywall, plumbing and appliance installation, as well as installing reclaimed hardwood flooring  throughout the kitchen, dining room and living room. They installed a new window and patio door. We used a local cabinetmaker, but Bath Repair & Remodeling coordinated countertop installation as well as electrician.

The crew is wonderful - it is a family owned business that takes pride in their work. We were a bit concerned that John Levesque has taken over as the on-site point person, while owner Dave Levesque handles the business end. However, John is every bit as careful and fussy as his dad (maybe even a little more!).  As with any remodel, there were unexpected issues. However, every concern was handled promptly and to our satisfaction.  The kitchen and dining room were taken down to the studs, insulation replaced, new drywall, plumbing and appliance installation, as well as installing reclaimed hardwood flooring  throughout the kitchen, dining room and living room. Renovation Construction Enterprises Inc
Wonderfully well. It started out looking like it would be as much as 3 weeks before they could schedule us, due to the response to the Angie's List big deal.  However, they contacted me within a few days with an opening due to a cancellation. The job was done in a day.
They did unfortunately damage a water pipe as they were removing the bad flooring, but they repaired the pipe at no extra charge to me.
I would use this company again.
