    Cross Town Movers
Horrible service. They only brought a dolly to move entire apartment. MANY SMOKE BREAKS. Very unorganized. They charged the same for a small apartment that they did for a larger apartment. They would not listen to where things were to be placed. Sticky notes were placed on wall to show where furniture should go. When I left for a few minutes, they left furniture in middle of room. They were given carts to help out. Movers used them to have races when returning to apartments. They took much longer then estimate given.

    Cross Town Movers Inc
Horrible. They only showed up with a dolly. Every time they went to the truck it took forever. They always came back smelling like cigarettes. They blamed the elevator but I went down to look for them several times. They were very unorganized and unprofessional. We got the facilities carts for them to use to make it go faster. They were caught on camera using them like skate boards on the way back to the apartments. They would carry one or two things out at a time. They were supposed to move 4 seniors that day, and gave the last person the moving time of 1:00. They showed up several hours late, so they sent 2 extra movers to finish the move. Then wanted to charge her the rate for four movers instead of 2, which she was quoted. It would have been no problem with 2 movers if they had showed up on time. After the move, I contacted the manager and told him about the problems. He apologized and did agree to reimburse everyone a certain amount off of all four bills.

    GPS moving and storage
GPS Moving and Storage made my move stress-free and seamless. They took such great care of all my belongings. They showed up on time to begin with on such a short notice. They packed everything skillfully and then loaded them to the truck. The whole thing took just over an hour to complete. The delivery was made on time and all my belongings were safe inside the truck. My move couldnt have gone any easier.

    Protected Van Lines
We contracted with Jerri Marini from Protected Van Lines for our cross-country move that took place May 23-25. We were promised and paid additional money for a white glove moving service with professional movers. We were told the movers would arrive early on the morning of the 23rd. Instead one man from a company called Fast Move arrived at 9:00 pm on the first day. On the 25th, his local hired laborers walked off the job because they were told they would not be paid. Our friends and neighbors ended up helping us move furniture and belongings to the garage as we had to be out of the house by the 26th and ready for the buyers final walk through. They rest of our belongings were loaded and we were told they would store our belongings in Dallas. Our furniture arrived 10 days late forcing us to impose on family. Our belongings arrived in an unmarked freight truck and appeared to have been thrown in with little or no regard as to the contents. The driver would not allow the truck to be unloaded until we paid him in the form of a cashiers check. A crew of local movers began to unload our belongings. Nearly every item was damaged in some way. Boxes were smashed, a refrigerator arrived dented and scratched with missing handles. Legs were broken off of a table. One wicker chair had a hole right through it. Countless dishes and decorative art were smashed to pieces. The local boys could not believe what they saw. The driver, who did not work for Fast Move said he was just hired to drive the truck to our location and took no responsibility. We immediately called Protected Van Lines and spoke to one of the owners, Russell Rosenberg, who assured us they would take care of the broken and damaged goods. We sent in pictures and calculated the damage as well as missing items (power tools, and a designer handbag) to amount to approximately $21,000.00. We began to work with Stephanie Faria, who was in charge of Customer service for Protected Van Lines. She assured us we would be compensated by both their company and the owner of Fast Move, Mossa and his wife Sara. We dealt with several people at Protected Van Lines during the next several weeks: Mikel Perez, then Alexis Aguaya, then another owner named Gary and they all assured us we would get a settlement of $9,000.00 that the two companies would share. We were asked to sign a settlement agreement stating that we would not talk negatively about our experience on social media. The signed document was sent to Sara at Fast Move. The document had a payment deadline of August 24, 2016. We never received payment and the company Fast Move disappeared into thin air. Phone numbers and e-mail no longer worked. We learned later from Protected Van Lines that the company had supposedly been purchased by Out of State Movers. We asked for a contact name and number, and they gave us Sara, wife of Mossa and owner of Fast Move. It appears that they are pulling a fast one. Perhaps the IRS should look into these companies. Protected Van Lines said the matter was out of their hands as they had paid their share to Fast Move. We have called and left messages for Stephanie but she nor anyone else at Protected Van Lines will return our phone calls. We feel that this company had no intention of getting us a settlement all along and that they have simply been playing games pretending to help us. In addition to the actual cost of our move, $15,327.90, we are out thousands of dollars to replace the items we could, and devastated by the loss of items we cannot replace.

    Js Moving Specialists
Curt and Darren were great. These guys treated our stuff as it was their own. Showed up on time and worked hard all day until the job was done. Blanket wrapped, then shrink wrapped furniture before taking it out of the house. Placed everything in our new residence where we wanted it. These guys really took the sting and hassle out of moving. If these guys show up on moving day you will be pleased. Great teamwork!

    Js Moving Specialists
Charlie  and Curt were awesome! They were punctual, friendly and professional. I have never had movers take such great care of my stuff. They wrapped all the necessary furniture and items to protect from damage. Even the hand truck was padded as not to scratch anything. I had rented two storage units but they were able to get everything packed into one. I will call them again when I'm ready to unpack the unit.

The move could not have gone better. They arrived on time and quickly got our house packed in to the truck. Had a little bit of a challenge unloading the truck due to a stairway from the street and another small one at the home. But these guys did not even blink. They started at 9am and by 3:30 pm, we were sitting on our couch in our new home. Great Job Guys!! Would hire again and recommend to anyone in a heartbeat. :)

    Backsavers Moving Service
So Blaise and Tyler were awesome, they showed up exactly on time and were both professional and friendly.  They were careful with my belongings, organized with the items loaded in the truck and nothing was damaged or broken.
Even though I didn't have a very large move it went very smooth and both were always asking me if I wanted an item moved in any particular area.  They even helped me assemble my bedroom furniture. Great job!
I used Backsavers once prior in May when I moved from AZ to OR, they unloaded my Uhaul trailer, again that experience was as good as this one.  I would recommend them over and over.  If you are wanting help with your move, please call these guys.

    Roy Anthony Gilmore's Handyman Service
Roy set an appt. at 8 a.m. and my doorbell rang at 8 a.m.  He was very prompt.  One of my pet peeves is having someone make an appointment and I wait for 15 minutes or more then they come and give me some excuse for putting me off.  I, myself, have always been punctual when I make an appt. or work schedule.
He did the work I asked and didn't shirk or make faces when I said I had a "rat" problem.  He dug right in, did what was necessary without complaint.
I was pleasantly surprised at the price.  So very reasonable.  I recently became a single senior citizen.  A big adjustment, but Roy helped me thru this one part of learning to live alone.
Thanks to Roy.  will I call him again?  You bet I will.
