    Master Tree Care
Extremely pleased. Estimate included a price for each tree service needed. Price seemed very fair considering the individuals expertise. Work was done exactly as described and on a very timely and tidy manner. Wonderful job; would highly recommend to anyone wishing to care for their trees.

    Big Trees Today
First time experience buying a large tree. Big Trees could not have done a better job. Excellent communication as our schedule kept changing due to the project timeline. Final planting was a marvel to watch. These guys know what they are doing!! Talk to Cole.

    Pacific Northwest Arborists Inc
We learned about this company from a home remodeling show. The following days we got a phone call and Keith came out to review our needs. He was very knowledgeable and set us up with his crew within a week. Lori in the office handled all communications with the city and were ready to file for permits if necessary. The crew of 5, headed by Tom, were amazing. They did a stellar job from thinning huge oaks, maples, white ash, cypress, bamboo, magnolia, and removing gigantic trees with precision. I highly recommend this company and will refer them to others.

We had a very large, dead fir tree. They removed it and did some trimming on other trees in the yard. They worked hard and made sure everything in the estimate was completed. John and crew did a great job!

Inexpensive Tree Care & Stumps Be Gone
I have used this company before and posted a well deserved "A" review of that experience. Had them back this year to remove another large tree and the experience was not quite as stellar. The care given to the surrounding landscape was lacking this time and there was a surprising amount of damage uncovered when I went to inspect closely after they left. I had told the 2 guys who arrived early in the morning where to stack the big chunks of trunk wood, which was behind the tree on a flat spaces of dirt, the same spot they dumped it all last year. Due to problems with the truck, the rest of the crew didn't arrive until 4 hours later. No body's fault on the late start, but I think in their anxiousness to get going, communication from crew 1 didn't get passed onto the climber/chain saw guy. I got my first red flag when I looked out the window and he was halfway done with the big trunk. As he cut the 12-14" sections, he did a big "heave ho" of the chunk forward on the downward side the big hill in front of him (instead of the other way where the ground was flat). I was very surprised to see all these massive trunk rounds fallen and piled on top of our pathway with paver steps. Later I found two massive rounds had rolled for distance all the way down to the bottom of the hill taking out a landscape light, some rocks our retaining wall, and then broke off paver bricks on 4 steps of a full flight of hardscape stairs at the bottom. This is about 75+ feet away from the tree being removed uphill. Unacceptable.

    NW Tree Work
This contractor gave me a quote, a flat dollar amount, for the work I had requested. I hired thru Thumbtack. This was my project request: "There are multiple trees along the north side of my property line. I want all the branches and limbs that hang over to my side cut back." This was the job description on the estimate: "All trees along the north property line will have limbs pruned up and away from property line for maintenance." Communication was good until the day of work, cleanup was complete on site following the work. When I got home from work and they had already left there were at least 30' of cherry and oak branches still hanging over my deck and back yard, which was the main reason I had hired them to do the work. When I inquired about this I was told that city codes prevented them from cutting to the top and their job was done. Questions about this resulted with arms thrown in the air with the owner saying, "I dont know what else to say, you hired a Certified Arborist that knows how to do the work, and met with the Master Arborist on site today" followed by a gracious offer to work with me and my neighbor to remove the trees in the future. I have no problem with laws and codes. What I do have a problem with is not communicating this to the me or discussing this BEFORE agreeing on a price when what I wanted was in violation of the rules. (The "Master Arborist" owner was the one who wrote the quote, BTW). This was NEVER discussed until AFTER they had come and gone and I had noted the obvious omission of work I had requested which THEY HAD QUOTED in their bid to perform. Since what I wanted was never completed "per code" I may have opted to not have the work done until addressing the issue with the City so I could actually get what I wanted done. But they never gave me that chance. Wouldn't hire again.

    Milton Cleanup & More
Milton and his crew were great, doing even more than we agreed upon. Unlike other contractors contacted by phone, Milton returned our call promptly, arriving at our home for a look and quote same day! Great company! We have other projects to do, and Milton Yard Maintenance will be back!

    Treekeeper Tree Svc Inc
Dan and his employees are great! Dan is very knowledgeable and thoughtful. He carefully considered our large trees that had been trimmed badly by the previous owners and advised us what would help to make the trees look better and remain healthy. He took a good look at all the trees in our yard and offered his recommendations as well. We decided on the work to be done together. He and his crew showed up on time and carefully trimmed our trees. They cleaned up and removed all the trimmings. The trees look much better now. We would definitely hire them again.

    City Wide Tree Service Inc
Gentleman came out and was very nice. Gave lots of good ideas of what to do in our back yard. Said they were different in that they charged by the hour so they were less expensive then other tree services. He came out in late June and said they would do the job in August. August came and I called for the status. He said they were swamped with staff vacations etc. Contacted in September, October, November, and early December. Each time no response of when the job would be done. I was not contacted with the status, I had to initiate. Finally when I told him I was assuming the job was no longer going to be done, he came out in the end of December. The job was done well. They were neat and courteous. But his bill did not come with a break down of how many hours the job was done to show how we were charged the hourly rate. We were just given a bill for the amount. At that point we were tired of going through the hassle and just paid it without asking about this or why the bill did not include an itemization of the amount of time they were here and the hourly rate. If it were me I would have done something to make it right. Give a discount, etc. for having given a customer the hassle of saying August and not doing the job until December. This was not done. I rate it an overall D because the hassle of keeping on someone to do their job was not something that I would want to do again. I would have given them a higher rating if they did something to make it right. To me it seems they have plenty of business, so they dont have to work so hard at customer service. That is not what I consider a golden rule.

    NW Earthworks Enterprises LLC
The team at NW Earthworks did a great job from start to finish. The pricing was great and the guys that did the work were really nice and made sure to protect any of my other landscaping. I already have two other trees that need to come out and I will definitely use them again!
