    Creative Tile and Remodel LLC
The bathroom is beautiful...Tibor and his crew are very nice and professional workers.  We had already demolished the area so Tibor was able to squeeze us into his schedule to get the work done.  Originally he estimated 2-3 weeks but all in all it took 4 weeks.  Tibor helped us figure out what to do with certain areas and we added a 1/2 wall with glass to the ceiling for the toilet area and frameless glass shower door which is gorgeous.   Hernando, the "tile guy" did a BEAUTIFUL job on the shower and floor.  I couldn't be happier. We cut a door into our bedroom hallway and turned the extra bedroom into a closet/dressing room.  Tibor's crew drywalled around the doorway and put up a barn door style entry...They also built a doorway into the bathroom where it had once been an alcove for the vanity and put a barn door entry into the bathroom. All the plumbing and electrical were done to turn what was once a closet into a GORGEOUS 4X5' shower.  Two vanities were installed and medicine cabinets above.    After 20 years in a house without a master bath, we are more than pleased with the outcome.  I would recommend Tibor to anyone and plan to ask him back to tile my fireplace when I save some more money.

Jame Bemis of Timeless Construction was one of two bids requested for this project. Timeless Construction's proposal consisted of a step by step list of the tasks to be performed with cost and time estimates to complete the project. There was plenty of detail to look at. To me, this gave me some insight as to what Jay's thought process was behind his bid. It was a basic procedure to add on the extra space as well as remodel the older part of the house. As Jay told me he had already built this house in his head before putting his bid together. He was very professional in addressing our questions and all of our concerns prior to signing the contract.
There were two parts to this project; one to gut the old house and redo electrical, pipe replacement (where needed), new walls, flooring, woodwork, doors, add some hardwood flooring, new kitchen and two bathrooms, and secondly, add a master suite consisting of two walk-in closets, a master bath and bedroom, and an office. This amounted to about 720 new floor space to the existing house of about 1700 sq. ft. Total square footage is now around 2400.The project required; excavation for the addition, an additional foundation with crawl space, roof and wall framing, window installation, electrical, plumbing, sheet rock and finish, flooring (hardwood, vinyl, and carpet), interior/exterior painting, a new roof for the entire house, and a new furnace/heat pump. All of the crafts working on this project did excellent work and were at the job site when required.
Everyday of the project the appropriate crafts were on site. Everyday something was accomplished. The builder was at the job site 95+% of the time and not off working on someone else's job. The workmanship was some of the best I've seen. The work against the proposed schedule held true until we asked for changes. The builder worked with us through these requests to keep things moving anyway.
As we got into the project we had some discoveries in the old part of the house that needed to be addressed. This added cost but never the less had to be done. We also added some features while we had everything apart. The builder was responsive and always gave me cost and time impact information with each request. Some changes we withdrew due to cost.
Originally this project was to be about 10 weeks in length, however with changes we requested the project extended for an additional 4 weeks. It is now complete and exceeds our expectations. The home is beautiful and we got everything we wanted (for a price). I highly recommend Jay Bemis, Timeless Construction if you want a quality job and delivered on time. While our project finished 4 weeks longer than originally planned all of it was due to additional work we asked to be done.
When the final inspection was done only two easily correctable things needed attention. The inspector commented that this was a quality job and that we had a good builder.
Since my wife and I have built two previous houses and remodeled two others we had some knowledge and experience with the process so it allowed for much clearer communication between the builder and us. Our expectations were fairly well aligned from the start. Clear communication is an absolute must when doing a complex project like this one. All changes were done in writing so we had a documentation trail in case there was any dispute about the work to be done. One thing about a remodel is there will be discoveries when you open up the walls and you need to be prepared to fix some things before you can move forward. This may add cost and time to your project.

    Closets To Go
This company is awesome!  We are doing kitchen remodeling and Closets To Go was my last order placed and the first company to come through with the product and installation. All done in about 3 weeks time. This company has been refreshing to work with! We used their $199 coupon for $500 worth of service/product. GREAT JOB!

    Gary B Woodworking
Gary's work was excellent and I recommend him very highly. He had the fewest reviews of the cabinet makers that I called for a quote, but the reviews he did have were excellent. He was able to give me an estimate and complete the project more quickly than the other three cabinet makers whom I contacted. His prices were good. He broke the costs out by project, and (as expected) some areas were higher than other quotes, and some were lower, but the overall quote was very reasonable and I chose him because of that and the promised delivery date.
I'm very happy with everything he did. Adding a mantle and adjustable bookcases to the master bedroom fireplace made a huge improvement in the room. The job included removing carpeting from where the bookcases would sit on the floor and re-tacking the remaining carpeting, and relocating electrical plugins and light switches to inside the bookcases. (They were previously on a portion of the wall that were covered by the new bookcases. He also trimmed and re-laid the baseboard molding around the base of the bookcases. If I had wanted to save money, I could have done the painting of the bookcases myself, but I opted to have him do that, and he did an excellent job.
I'd just moved into my current house and did not have a place to store my spices before he built the two custom pull-out spice racks. He also made the house more functional for me by lowering an existing cupboard in the room I use as an office, and moving the pull-out recycling bins from the cabinet that I wanted to use for the spice racks, and placing the bins under the kitchen sink. He also applied window film to a highly placed window, to give me more privacy.
I will definitely re-hire Gary, if I have other projects in the future. His work is very precise, he draws pictures and takes the time to make sure both he and his customers are expecting the same thing, has great communication skills, and sticks to his promised time frames.

    Handyman Matters
Their response time was excellent. I had chosen another firm but the other firm could not commit to anything under a week. Handy Man Matters was there the next business day.
Jon arrived when scheduled and went to work right away. The original estimate was for less money and hours but as projects often do it took much longer than expected. Never having worked on a pocket door before, it was not something that I chose to do myself because of the inherent difficultiy in servicing them.
Jon had to pull down the molding around the door and then cut into the wall going down to the basement and did it with as little interior wall damage as possible. To remove the old track system hardware he also had to drill into the sheetrocked wall. All was done with little mess.
When Jon was able to see what was needed he went and got the parts and then started putting it all back together. After installing the track, Jon then started putting the door rollers on and because of the new track system had to shorten the door a little. He then put the molding back and filled the sheet rock holes he had to drill.
Although taking almost twice as long as estimated over two days, we're pleased with the work and consider it money well spent. The door works better now than it ever has.

    California Closets
Everything was great.  They did the work exactly as we asked, were pleasant and friendly, and worked efficiently.  They did so well, in fact, that we plan on using them again for more closets.

    Creative Tile and Remodel LLC
Doing business with Tibor Lakatos, owner of Creative Tile & Remodel LLC, has been an incredibly wonderful experience.  Even though our project had an unrealistic short timeline, because of Tibor’s efforts, it was amazingly completed on schedule and within budget. We are extremely pleased with the professionalism and quality of craftsmanship provided by Tibor and his team.  We also appreciate the efficient scheduling efforts put forth by Tibor as well as the excellent teamwork by the crew which enabled the completion of multiple tasks at the same time.  Tibor seamlessly managed the project on a day-by-day basis while keeping us updated as to the timing of the tasks to be performed even as details changed.  The work performed by Tibor and his team was above and beyond our expectations.  Because of Tibor’s creativity, our new master bath and bedroom is beautiful.  We are thrilled with the final results!  Our friends and family are also amazed with the beauty of the final project.  It's a dream come true! Not only would we definitely contract with Creative Tile & Remodel LLC on future projects, we will continue to highly recommend his company to our business associates, family and friends.

    Closets To Go
I stopped by the showroom to look at the products and spoke with Craig Mulkey about various options. A few weeks later, I called to have someone come out and measure my garage. They were able to make an appointment within a few days. Craig came out, measured my garage, and offered several alternatives. I explained what I wanted, and he send a design via e-mail within one working day. I liked it and ordered the cabinets. They were made and installed within two weeks.
