    HPR Roofing and Siding llc
Showed up on time. These guys had my old roof tore off and replaced(perfectly) in 2 days. They even came back a few months later and did a cleaning(on their own dime). I had them come back and replace the sub flooring of my kitchen. The job was done in less than a day. Very professional team to work with. I would recommend these guys for whatever you need. 5

    KJM Window Cleaning
Very professional and prompt, started work right away. Super friendly and easy to do business with. I think Angie's List says they do cash and check only but you can request to be billed and pay by credit or bank account. I definitely will be hiring them again!

    SFW Construction LLC
I have a second story deck with a storage shed under it. The roof of the shed leaked and it was the general consensus of several builders that it couldn't be fixed correctly without rebuilding the deck. I asked SFW Construction to build it as if they were building it on their own home. The final product was a shed with a PVC roof that doesn't leak, a new sliding glass door and window, and a beautiful deck with cedar railing and composite floor, stairs, and trim. Only time will tell, but hopefully it will look beautiful for many, many years. They had from 2 to 4 men working about 3 weeks on the project. This meant it was a much more expensive project than what I was expecting. That being said, they kept me informed about the costs, and I hope that in the long run it will be worth the expense. There were some minor problems with finish, and when I notified them they came right back and fixed the issues.

    Contract Furnishings Mart
After one remodel running around town to MANY different showrooms and vendors, when I discovered Contract Furnishings Mart CFM for my next projects, I was amazed. They have a wide variety of every type of flooring, countertops, tile, and cabinets. The Clackamas staff is friendly and welcoming. Not only did I receive reliable answers, when I asked for ideas, options and other resources it was apparent that I was working with experts with a wide network of information. If you want high quality products and an experienced partner knowledgeable about the products and vendors who can help you to understand and complete the process, I recommend Clackamas CFM. My excellent experience there was with Kathy B, Debbie A, Patrick and Carly. Thank you all for my beautiful dream bathroom and new kitchen floor.

    Paul Kyllo Painting
Very good. He wasn't the least expensive but not to most either; excellent value. Of the 3 or 4 estimates I got, he was the only one who suggested the exterior sheeting be pre-sanded prior to painting. His crew washed the exterior, sanded as necessary and removed loose paint, filled holes and caulked windows, applied one coat of bonding primer and two coats of primer paint, and cleaned up, leaving things better than before.

    Driven drywall
Excellent. Mr Harper conducted himself professionally and performed on time and with quality workmanship. Other employees followed his leadership and listened to him well. One of the most prominent characteristics of Mr Harper was his strength. When you need muscle, he's got it. One time, we had to move a vehicle hoist: we had 4-5 guys on one end and Mr Harper on the heavy end alone. Mr Harper was also able to pick up some prime traits while he was in our employ to include some plastering skills. Highly recommended.

    Innovative Painting & Construction
The problem here, throughout the whole job, was that people were trying to do things beyond their experience or skill level. And the owner didn't check on the job for nearly a month, until it was considered completed. First thing, I asked the man in charge if the company had an experienced tile setter, because I wanted someone experienced to set the Carrera marble I'd bought for the shower. He told me he'd worked with it before, and he'd be doing it. I hoped for the best. From the start, the work schedule was not consistent. The owner would give a start date, and it got delayed. Several times. Once started, Workers came and went at random times. I never knew when workers would be arriving from one day to the next. Some days the lone foreman would work until late into the night. The shower alcove got built, and the marble was going in. I had sealed each piece on both sides and had laid out the pattern of each wall myself. I didn't mind doing this, wanted to do the design. The foreman did a great job of putting the pieces in, following the pattern I'd laid out. Although the mortar extended up the wall beyond the tiles, and things looked a bit uneven in places, it was hard to see any details with all the grout residue everywhere. Then, the foreman disappeared. When I called, he informed me that he was no longer with the company, and to direct my questions to the owner. I did, and was told someone else would be finishing things up. For the days that nobody came, I decided to start cleaning up he tile in the shower myself. I sponged, and then started razor-blading off the grout residue. While doing so, it became clear that the marble had not been set with experience. The grout lines were very uneven, one piece had been set backwards (rough side out), and that many, many pieces had been chipped, nicked or scratched. I was heartbroken. The marble had cost over $1,000. A new man came to finish the floor of the shower, which was textural mosaic tile. He left for the day, leaving the shower floor so full of grout, you couldn't even see the tile at all. He told me to wait an hour or two, then just sponge it off. I've laid tile myself, so began sponging in less than an hour. I sponged until I couldn't do it anymore, and still, all the textural pieces were filled with grout. I used a toothbrush on the curb, and got those pieces pretty clean before it set. I've now spent about 15 hrs. cleaning grout and tile in my new shower. Far from done, I use a putty knife and razor blade. The man who came to finish the carpentry, could not even cut a piece of baseboard to fit. After multiple attempts. I also painted the final coat of paint in bathroom, because he had difficulty painting edges. So, I called the owner and asked that he come by to discuss my concerns. He arrived with his wife and children. This made things awkward. I showed them: chipped tiled, uncleaned grout, very messy caulked edges of shower (how to remedy?), a jagged piece of tile on the curb, one piece that had already popped out, the framed wall they built beside the shower is not plumb, broken vinyl pieces where they worked, baseboard not replaced and I requested that a certified electrician come check all the retiring that was done, so I'd have peace of mind that I wouldn't be electrocuted in the shower, since 220 had been moved around behind it. The owner took these concerns down and said they'd be in touch, and that my job had already gone way over budget. I had purchased all the materials myself and paid for everything beyond the base deal price. The plumber set all the new fixtures, so they didn't have to do. My job is still not finished, and I haven't heard from the owner since we talked 2 weeks ago. This company painted my house nearly 2 years ago, and did a good job (though the owner wasn't around then, either). I gave them a good review. They should stick with painting. Construction projects with unskilled labor and no oversight is not good business practice.

    Artistic D-Zine Construction Inc.
The price quoted was reasonable but throughout the job the price kept going up. The quality of work was good but this contractor was very unreliable. Not showing up until mid day or not at all. A job that was supposed to take a week took three times that long.

    SERVPRO of Cedar Mill
Very pleased with our interior paint job completed by Majic Painting! We had our entry way, living room, dining room, hallway and office painted including all walls, trim, doors, and ceilings, and they finished the job in two days. From start to finish Majic Painting was very professional, courteous and a pleasure to work with! The painters did a great job and completed the work in the time they estimated it would take, and they cleaned everything up thoroughly when they were done. We are very pleased with the quality of work and with the new look of our home! Would use this company again and would surely recommend them! Thank you Jayson & Andrea (Office Crew) Alyssa and Jesus (Painting Crew)!

    EnergyGuard Windows & Doors
This group is fantastic. We visited the showroom and they had a huge number of windows and styles to physically see and "play" with making it easy to see what we were purchasing. We made an appointment to have Darren come to our house to take measurements and make suggestions based on our actual/true window sizes/designs. The appointment was confirmed one day prior and Darren arrived promptly. Windows came in from factory when Darren stated they would. The work crew were also prompt on delivery day, did a fabulous installation job, and cleaned up. We were extremely pleased with EnergyGuard and highly recommend them. We will use them again when we replace our doors.
