  I have a two-story house and I let them clean the downstairs, the upstairs is too horrible. They do the floors and they dust and they vacuum. I've got three dogs and a cat, so that's a big deal. They've been really great. Sometimes I've had to cancel at the last minute and they always manage to work around me. It's a small company, owned by one person. She uses all environmentally friendly products.

  They cleaned the carpets, mopped the wood floors, cleaned all the woodwork, cleaned 2 1/2 baths, two bedrooms and the kitchen and appliances. They also cleaned the windows, and window frames inside. Vacuumed, dusted. They sent two people for the job and it was completed on time and within budget.   I had two yound women clean my (un-air-conditioned) three story condo, during the last heat spell.  Fortunately, I was the first job of the day for them, so it was not too hot in here. They arrived early, carried all of their equipment up and down the two flights of stairs, and even finished early.  They were very pleasant and professional.  I've only used two other cleaning services in my lifetime, but they were by far the best.

  My wife is disabled and not able to do much, so that leaves me responsible for everything around the house, from cooking, cleaning, maintenance, laundry, yardwork, grocery shopping, transportation to doctors appointments, picking up prescriptions, etc, etc. Consequently my housekeeping suffers so I called in the Maid Brigade. I called on Tuesday and we scheduled for Thursday, but they could not commit to a time right then. I was advised that based on my description of what I wanted done the price would be between $300 and $400, and they would call me on Wednesday afternoon to let me know when they had me scheduled on Thursday. Around 3:30 on Wednesday they called to let me know my appointment was scheduled for first thing Thursday morn, and that the cleaners would arrive between 8:15 and 8:30 am. I really would have preferred a bit more notice, but with a little effort we adjusted our morning routine to be ready for their arrival. The two housekeepers arrived right on time, moved all their equipment in promptly and got right to work. I asked them to clean the back bedroom first so that my wife could then lie down while they worked on the rest of the house, and they very graciously accommodated my request, and with both of them working had the room cleaned in record time. Once my wife was able to lie down, I told them to just go ahead and work where ever and how ever they pleased, and I just stayed out of their way as best I could. I have to give these gals a lot of credit - they worked non-stop from 8:30 am until about 12:45 pm, and they worked hard judging from how beautifully they cleaned everything. I offered them coffee or sodas, which they declined, and never saw them rest for a moment, although I didn't watch them closely and tried to make myself scarce around the house so as not to disturb their routines. When they were finished they vacuumed the house, and told me the charge would be $300, but then the second housekeeper approached, they conversed in Spanish, and told me the price was $339.00. Overall and bottom line is that they did a fantastic job and cleaned much more thoroughly than I expected, and I was glad that the price ended up being on the lower end of the price range I was quoted.

  The work was adequate. In fairness to the team of two, they had not seen the project beforehand and midway through, had to call in one backup person. The windows have clean circular centers and the kitchen counters were not as great as I might have hoped. The first two cleaners were here for a couple of hours before they called for help. In the end, they were here 4 hours. I wouldn't have minded them coming back the next day but that wasn't an option. I don't have any paperwork or receipt that was given to me, and I had to help figure out the bill. But the house looked presentable for Thanksgiving.

  I had just come home from having surgery and needed bed rest. Lillian and Vita were very considerate about this as they cleaned, vacuumed and dusted the master bedroom and bath. We have very hard water and it is nearly impossible to keep ahead of the calcium build up that accumulates around the sinks and showers so I was most impressed with how clean they got the large master shower and glass doors. They even cleaned and thoroughly dusted an old dresser that housed miscellaneous 'junk' that our youngest son had left behind when he moved out. Since I was not able to do the final "walk thru", the responsibility fell upon my 75 year mother who is a stickler for cleanliness and is very hard to please. To my amazement, Vita and Lillian's hard work had met my mother's approval the first time through.

  Maid Brigade Of Multnomah County & East Metro

  We are on a bi-weekly cleaning schedule because they can get our house so much cleaner than we can! We have two dogs and lots of hair to clean up. We are always amazed at how they seem to get every hair off the hardwood floors - they just shine! Lisa runs a tight ship and her staff is the best - very easy to work with and accommodating. We would highly recommend them - great value!
