Eye Care reviews in Clackamas

    EyeHealth Northwest

I was impressed with everything from beginning to end. My coverage is excellent through VSP, although I hear no other provider covers as much for care with Eye Northwest. If I recall correctly the price for any and all Lasik procedures is always a flat fee of $3,800.00 and for both eyes. I appreciated that they quoted the cost up-front and didn't even make me wait for a follow up etc. I ultimately decided to go elsewhere for my Lasik because I found a better price.

Great experience. The staff is efficient, got me checked in quickly and performed the pre-exam tests. I had a very short wait (approx 2 minutes) after the pre-exam tests before Dr. Nancy came out to get me for my exam. She went through her exam explaining the purpose of each step. We discussed my vision, my current prescription, glasses and contacts. The staff checked me out and ordered my contacts, which were delivered to my home within a week of my exam.

    Dr. Anne Berk
First words out of the receptionist mouth was do you have an appointment? I almost walked back out what kind of greeting is that? I even voice my concern in an email they sent me and no reply, so here we go Angie. I had to return twice and the glasses are still a pain to use. Why don't professionals call you when your glasses are in? I payed allot of money for these glasses and could have done better with drug store generic glasses. Whats the value if you pay allot, get treated poorly and still can't see? Not again.

When I go for an appt. I am greeted as soon as I walk in the door. I usually only wait 5-10min to be called. After I see the doctor I try on frames and Linda guides me through the process of getting my glasses ordered. Then she tells me approximately how long it will take for my glasses to get there. If my glasses take longer than that, Linda makes a courtesy call to let you know. When they do get in, she calls right away to let you know you can come in to get them. When you go to pick them up, Linda sits down with you to make sure your new glasses fit and that everything is okay with them.

    Wojciecjowski, Dr. Bruce
The interaction with Dr. Wojciecjowski was brief and he seemed uninterested and/or distracted, although he was very pleasant with my son. He was not very communicative on next steps and walked out the exam room without an explanation or making any eye contact. The vision therapist was great. She was very thorough and had a great way with my son. She informed me the report which was paid for in advance would take about 2 weeks. After two weeks I called her directly as I hadn't received anything and she e-mailed me her portion. I am still waiting after a month and a half for Dr. Wojciecjowski's report.

The poor ratings are not for the doctors (both Dr. Bercks and Dr. Buset). The C and D ratings are for the rude and unprofessional service at the reception counter. I have gone to this office for a few years now for myself and my children. I have had enough bad encounters with the office staff that I am not going back. The ladies at the front counter seem to be bothered that there are customers wanting their attention. I have had them finishing private phone calls, conversations with each other, prom dress shopping on the computer before anyone would want to address me standing in front of them waiting for acknowledgment. I called the office once when I was on vacation asking for some help tracking down some replacement contacts in the town I was in (I forgot my to bring a supply), I was told, "we don't do that." Luckily I pushed hard enough to get one of the doctors on the phone and was immediately helped. Despite being told by the both Dr. Bercks that I was not a candidate for Lasik surgery, I made an appointment with a surgeon. I now have 20/20 vision. I think all eye doctors will tell you this, as I can't imagine anyone wanting to lose regular business.

    Wojciecjowski, Dr. Bruce
The last time I saw him was for an eye exam. He goes beyond what is expected. I think that he probably one of the most extraordinary eye doctors around. When it comes to eye care he is very cutting edge. He was recommended to us by someone in Colorado. That is how well known he is. We will continue to use Dr. Wojciecjowski.

I think that he is knowledgeable and professional. He does a thorough job on eye exams and does a good job explaining what he is doing. His office is neat, clean and professional. His prices are reasonable and he fixed a broken frame for no charge.

GREAT.  Thorough exam again, as I had waited awhile to get my prescription filled.  Checked my glasses to make sure they were the correct prescription.
