ABudget Blinds of Southern OregonBetty was our Budget Blind rep who helped us pick out the various window coverings. She was a good listener, learning about what we wanted to accomplish in each room. She was very professional and shared her knowledge of the various products that would meet our needs. (Budget Blinds has a large selection of products from which to choose.) The blinds came promptly and Jerry and Roger did a wonderful job completing the installation. Their goal was to have everything exactly like we wanted, so if there were any decisions to be made, they were very good about running things past us. The Budget Blinds team made the entire experience enjoyable, and we love our new blinds!!- Julie B.

AAlexander ConstructionAlex responded quickly with an estimate of most of the work. I added the blind and one faucet later. I asked him to supply two or three references and he e-mailed me four. All of the references gave him glowing reports. When he started he immediately showed he knew what he was doing. Everything was done well and came in at the exact price quoted. He cleaned up after the job was done and was very professional throughout the process. I would definitely use him again.- Larry B.

CBUDGET BLINDSfor the initial consult it went ok. scheduled at 5:30, betty arrived at 6pm. I was fine with that and the consult went very well. I was a bit surprised by the price but went with it. she advised me a takes about 3 wks for the blinds to come in, I accepted that. 3 wks went by with no phone call, I emailed betty, she emailed me back the next day and said yes, the blinds are in I left a message on your cell phone, I did not get a message, so I don't know who she called but it wasn't me. Finally after a month of waiting for my window coverings I got a appointment for a Friday afternoon....well I waited almost 2 hours after my appointment time! Then the man who installs them when he arrives, tells me that he forgot his drill! so....still no window coverings. I finally got my window coverings the next day on a Saturday morning. They look nice...but not worth the price and the headache I had to endure.- Paula B.

DBudget Blinds of Southern OregonTerrible. 1. Blinds installed in the living room required a battery-powered wireless remote. Per initial consultation, this was supposed to be also operated by a phone app. At the time of installation, it turned out that the app required a $10 monthly subscription. I had to give up the phone app as I was obviously unwilling to pay $10 per month for this convenience. Again, this additional fee was not disclosed at the time of initial consultation or put in the original contract. 2. The battery packs were installed using cheap Velcro straps from a grocery store. On the day following the installation, one of them detached and hung by a wire, and another fell on the floor from 25 feet in high traffic area. Luckily, no one was injured, but this could have ended tragically with a battery pack containing eight AA batteries landing on top of someone's head. I called the office on Friday morning to complain about this issue and the company didn't fix it until the following Monday. In the meantime, I had to climb my own ladder to remove the remaining loose battery packs. 3. Within a week and a half of installation, one of the motorized blinds stopped working. I was told that I would have to wait a week to have it fixed.- Radek D.

FIf I could give zero stars, I would. First, it was taking forever to get my order. When I looked at my order, they somehow had the wrong address (my former address from five years ago), so I contacted them to change the address. They assured me that the address was changed. A couple of weeks later, I was notified via email that my order was delivered but when I checked my front door it wasn't there, so I went to my old address, 30 minutes away and got lucky that the owner was there and had received my order. When I got it home the 3 roller shades that I ordered for side-by-side windows were all 4 inches too big. I followed the online measurement directions which suggested that you add 2 inches per side to your measurements for an outside mount. I should have stayed with my original measurements. When I called, they suggested that I keep an inch on each side. They re-made them, and AGAIN sent them to the wrong address - even after I re-confirmed that they had the right one. Again, I had to go to my old address to look for my delivery. This time, no one was home, so I took a chance and waited in front of their house for a while until someone may come home. Luckily, someone showed up within 90 minutes. This time they had showed up with 2 boxes! They re-made it twice (6 roller shades), all still too big! Due to the global pandemic and for personal reasons, I waited to address the issue. When I finally was able to contact them, I was sent a message that the CSR's supervisor determined that the blinds were made correctly. Therefore, they cannot offer a remake for this order. Their policy states that they will make up to 4 shades if the customer is not completely happy. However, they offered to remake the shades at a discounted price! I will not give them one more penny! Worst service ever! A $500.00 lesson learned - They stole my money and left me with 9 useless roller shades to get rid of. I do not recommend them!

AChris and crew were outstanding. While the wait time was quite long, it was well worth it. I had 14 windows and a patio slider replaced with Milgard (Tuscany) series. Chris and Tim worked with me to replace the outer window casement trim/molding with PVC at my request (no rotting!) and did a top-notch job. Matt was particularly attentive to details and everyone was very courteous, professional and took great care both inside and outside of my home. While I take note of one reviewer's dissatisfaction with the strong focus on Milgard, I allowed myself to be talked into Milgard even though I explored other brands. It is my belief that the skill of the installers are just as (if not more) important than the brand and I am delighted with the end result on all counts. Yes others were cheaper but the "cheap" can turn out to be an expensive mess. I cannot recommend Mitchell's highly enough ... excellent work ethic, value and professionalism. Bonus points for Tim who provided the info and paperwork for Oregon Energy Trust rebate!
