    NW Electrical Solutions, Corp
Tom came out on 09/27/2019 to look at what had to be done. The job took 1 hour and 15 minutes. The work was done very efficiently and he cleaned up the area before leaving. We would definitely hire NW Electrical Solutions again for any future work.

Roth Heating & Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical
Wonderful! The HVAC crew were excellent! Professional, knowledgeable, experienced, and efficent! They came in, evaluated the job, then got right to work. First day replaced the furnace, it was up and running by the end of the day. Day 2 they started installing the A/C unit. Every day they cleaned up, making sure we, and our grandchildren would be safe, leaving nothing dangerous. The entire crew HVAC, Plumber, gas piper, and electrician were conscientious of keeping our carpet, and house clean, taking off shoes, or donned bootees. Every step of the work being done was explained, double checked that it was what we wanted. Beau the plumber was excellent! He hated telling me that the old pipes were in need of replacement. I knew this was a high likelihood, as the house is over 69 years old. And the pipes were original. He got right to work, he made sure we had running water before he left all but one day. Which was very nice. The water heater move and install went fast! He found the basement bathroom had pipes that were illegal in homes. He was advantageous in having me call the county, as he was certain the basement bathroom was not legal. He spent over 4 hours pleading the case with the county for allowing him to fix the problems found. The county agreed to let him fix the bathroom, and they certified it. (If he hadn't done this, likely the county would have ordered the bathroom completely gutted, and plans submitted for a complete rebuild!) A huge thank you to Beau!!! The rest of the work is now complete. We only have Sheetrock to repair, Roth was able to recommend "The Patchman" and he will start Thursday. Roth Heating and Cooling is a wonderful local company! I look forward to a long relationship with them!

    Eagle Electric
Electrician arrived on time. The job was well done and we are happy with the results. He took all the time we wanted to figure out the placement of the cams. Unfortunately, I think the extra time we took planning, with his input, cost a lot of extra money. We ended up paying almost double what we had planned on.

They gave me a quote, they showed up on time, they were there when they said they would, they were very nice people, they explained everything, and they did a couple of other things that were not even on the project without charge. We have a local electrician, and their price was comparable to them and I think I got better service. The quality was excellent.  They were right on time, they said they would be there at a certain time, and they called 15 minutes before they got there. They were very professional, and they explained things to me.

    Boones Ferry Electric
The scheduler was very pleasant and cooperative.  We had a glitch on our end which was our fault and was quickly and happily resolved.  The work was done quickly and efficiently with no mess or fuss and everything works perfectly.  The electrician was also gracious and pleasant to have around and seemed very accomplished.  We live quite a ways out of Portland, so it can be difficult to get workmen, especially good ones. We were very pleased and will be glad to hire the same firm again, if the need arises.

    Onion's Canby Electric Inc
I contacted Canby Electric after the installer for my new dishwasher told me the electrical circuit was not providing power. I called Canby Electric on a Thursday just as a weekend snow and ice storm was about to come into the area. They scheduled the appointment for Monday and came out even though driving conditions were still not great. Two electricians showed up at my door at exactly the scheduled time wearing nylon booties so as not to dirty the floor.
They determined that the outlet that the dishwasher was connected to was defective and the circuit breaker buss where the dishwasher circuit breaker was inserted, as well as the circuit breaker, were corroded and burnt. They installed a new circuit breaker in a good area of the buss.
While doing this work they noticed that the heat pump breaker was in the off position. When removed the contacts were burnt. In addition, the breaker was a 30 amp rather than 15 amp as specified on the heat pump. They replaced the breaker with the proper capacity.
The electricians were prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, competent and efficient. The total job took about an hour and a half and cost a total of $138. I would definitely call them again if I need an electrician and would recommend them.

    Square 1 Electric
The electrician went through an outside wall and installed the new outlet directly opposite an indoor outlet. The work went without a hitch and was completed in about an hour. The electrician also cleaned up a small amount of debris created by the drilling.

Both times, the electrician showed up on time and was very professional. Installation went smoothly, as I would have expected it to. They went above and beyond on the details, however. After installing a new light switch cover, for example, the tech on the second visit screwed in all the screws to just the right point so that each of them was aligned with one another. They cleaned up any mess and went on their merry way.
The only thing I wasn't expecting was the permit fee ($75). Also, I anticipated the time going over the 2 hours we had originally purchased, and subsequent hours seemed a touch spendy. In the end, though, this is a company I trust and will return to.

    Darren Onion
Darren Onion bid the complete job from start to finish for $4000.00 for 900 sq feet which I agreed on. He said the job would take 3 days to complete. After 7 days and the job is still not complete he wanted payment, he presented me with a bill for $3250.00. I had given Darren a check for $2400.00 to purchase materials for which he had gotten a discount but charged me full price, which would of left a balance of $1600.00 not $3250.00 to be paid on completion of the job. I have 2 electrical sockets that spark and a breaker that trips everytime you touch it. I was very upset about the amount he wanted me to pay and at no point did he say it would be more to me. He never got the okay to add more days to the schedule. We agreed on a reasonable amount for the work performed and I asked him to put in writing a bid for the final work that still needs to be done according to the price we had agreed on. When he brought me the bid for the final work it said $389.00 for materials and $200.00 for labor and $300.00 for outstanding good enough, when I asked him what the $300.00 was for he said it was for work that he had already done for me. This is after we had already agreed on an amount to cover all this and now he feels the need to charge me again needless to say I won't pay this and his response to me was I hope you can sleep with your conscious and I said I know I will sleep just fine knowing I didn't get screwed over by you again. He threatened to stop me from opening my bar and I told him I have the contractors board, the better business and Angie's List on my side. Well now it's time for all of the work still left to be done and the permit is in his name and he's injured, surgery scheduled, unavailable his words not mine and I have to get another permit in the other electricians name which will cost me money for which I am sending it to Darren Onion since I already paid for 1 permit. Bottom line is watch your back he's not a man of his word and will try and take advantage of you. I need to get the sparking outlets and the breaker fixed and have the new electrician check all of his work. How he passed the first inspection is beyond me. And to top all of this off all I heard the whole time is that he just became a master electrician. Not to be trusted, I would never use him again not to even turn on a light let alone put 1 in. The only thing that wasn't icluded in the bid was the wiring for lottery wich he said waould be $800.00 which I had agreed upon.

I spent approximately $800. They did a great job. They had to use a smoke alarm to hook up some things and it went off at one point. I had to call them again. Other than that they did really good work. They did a good job and they are very friendly. They came in exactly as they estimated. They were here on time. Their professionalism was fine too. I wasn't here when they came. My wife communicated everything.
