The ceiling is repaired. We have no large hole and it looks good. Jay is a professional. When you ask about something he will give his opinion which helps. I have used him for various projects and I have not been disappointed.

    Quality Calvary Construction, LLC
The service was wonderful and again they did a superior service. The title of the company describes them well and they did a quality wrk and very trustworthy. note to the service provider: If there is something more that I can say I'd be glad to do it. Im just not sure many sentences will be good for him. Feel free to contact me on my phone.

I had ceiling fans installed. I already had electricity and he just had to hook up the fans. It didn't take him to long. He had me inspect them before he left to make sure they were to my satisfaction. They were very quite and didn't vibrate when he finished.

    HOMEMASTERS Portland East
It was a horrible experience, and we never did get the painting done. We negotiated and settled with the company after ten months had passed and the roof, soffit, and gutter jobs had finally been completed. The roof leak that caused us to seek roof replacement was actually made worse by their roofers, and we had to call them back multiple times over many months before the leaks stopped and we were willing to sign off. The soffit job is so amateur as to be an embarrassment-- uneven cuts, gaps between boards--as attested by the painters we have had come out recently to bid on the paint job that Homemasters never got around to. Perhpas the worst experience was with the debris that littered our yard, driveway, and walkways for months. All three occupants of our household stepped on roofing nails at some point, even after we asked for clean-up. We were lucky that they punctured only our shoes. But the fourth time was not so lucky, requiring me to go for a tetanus shot. We demanded a thorough cleanup after that and got an immediate response--with a magnet sweep--but months later we are still finding stray nails (roofing nails land facing upward) and pieces of wood with protruding nails in our shrubbery. We withheld the last payment on the work, and the owner of the franchise ultimately agreed to close the ticket for the amount already paid, canceling the paint job. Still, the $22k we paid was far too much for the results we got.

I contacted Tiny's Home Repair and scheduled a time. He recommended an easy handle doorknob and a separate key lock. I'm so glad I went with these. He installed both the front and back doors. The keys and locks work easily and the handle on the doorknob works with ease. The doors opens and closes easily, doesn't stick.

I'm very pleased with how they turned out.

    Wonderman Remodeling & Handyman Services
I had Wonderman previously fix a huge dry rot problem at the house per a repair addendum for the sale.  At the last minute, the buyer requested flooring installed before signing.  Wonderman adjusted his schedule so he could come back to install flooring when I needed it. Thanks to him, the closing of the home went more smoothly.  He is honest, timely, efficient and he is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks Raoul.

My front door did not hang correctly and the lockset did not work correctly.  I had a previously purchased lockset installed which required a bit more work than anticipated, and the door was rehung so it swings better.  The door works great now, doesn't stick anymore!  I had a couple other minor things attended to.  The kitchen skylight trim I had from before did not fit or look right so Lonny recommended that I get new wood trim.  I had him come back for a second visit to purchase and install the trim.  He did a great job and I am happy that he recommended putting up new trim.

    Thomas Hovland Home Maintenance
I called him to help us finish some projects around our home in preparation for selling our home. He was quick to give a bid and came on short notice, which I appreciated. Based on the ratings from others, I expected him to work somewhat independently after I gave him a list of items to fix. He came and did a few things, started several projects then needed some materials so I went to get them but he had to leave early so he was unable to complete most projects and left before I returned. His bill was what he estimated to complete the projects or for one full day. He did neither so ultimately we negotiated a lesser payment. He handled it professionally but I was disappointed that I had to go find someone to complete the projects I paid him to do.

    J & S Home Maintenance LLC
    1. he made an initial visit and inventoried all items by name that had to be repaired
    2. he researched each item that he was not familiar with to ensure he knew what to do and what he needed
    3. he purchased special cupboard hinges
    4. he recommended high quality / reasonable priced store to purchase knobs
    5. he coordinated time for each visit to ensure maximum efficiency and lowest intrusion on us
    6. each item was done exactly to our specifications and in less time than he originally estimated
    7. most importantly, he did everything he could to meet our time frames and those of other clients

Jay checked everything that needed to be done on Friday, and when he returned on Saturday he had the materials he needed for the work, and had made the new planter, all of which he installed on Saturday.
He is amazing: his work is well thought-out and he doesn't waste any time getting it done.  The planter replaces one that was installed in 1977 and had some rotten wood, and Jay's replacement is really well made and a great replacement.
