    Central Oregon ENT LLC
I was literally 5 minutes late for an appointment and the office staff member called the doctor regarding my "tardiness". The staff member, Jacquie, let me know that Dr. Basanez would not be able to see me because I was late. It became apparent that Dr. Basanez wasn't even available. He was seeing a patient and he was behind. Instead of handling this situation with honesty, Dr. Basanez and the office staff member decided to use my tardiness as an excuse to reschedule. Since I was already a patient, I wanted to learn if this was their standard protocol for arriving 5 minutes late. The office manager, Candice, spoke with me in the lobby. She, apparently, was informed about my situation. So, not only was the decision to reschedule my visit (a 3 week wait with a pretty serious medical condition) well known by the office staff member and Dr. Basanez, but it was known by the office manager. This started to feel "off". I started to feel a little violated. I am being used to serve their good image: I was late versus Dr. Basanez was behind; my best interests versus meeting their scheduling needs and not keeping the doctor past 5 o'clock when they close, as my appointment was an hour before 5:00. All the aforementioned was not too much to swallow. My slowly gathered red flags about Central Oregon Ear Nose and Throat started to become pretty clear. Candice (office manager) began to explain why Dr. Basanez would not be able to see me. Her explanation included my private health information and Dr. Basanez's medical recommendations for my condition that had not even been observed. Mind you, her explanation was in the lobby in front of four patients and their entire office staff members. Dr. Basanez and Candice, both, violated HIPPA - our basic human right. Dr. Basanez should know better since he is in the medical profession. Candice should also know better since she is overseeing confidential matters. I let Candice know that I would like to speak to Dr. Basanez or the owners of this practice (Dr. Gallivan and Dr. Verheyden), in attempts to prevent this type of violation with other patients. Candice was unwilling to provide me with a resolution. Instead she decided to call the police and they were our "mediators". Since law enforcement cannot enforce HIPPA, I had to leave. I was a patient who was not seen. My medical conditions were not addressed. My HIPPA rights were violated and they labeled me as a "problem patient" with no resolution. I am pretty beside myself with the clear ethical violations that occurred, but they spun the entire situation to suit their best interests.

    Bend Memorial Clinic
My doctor visually confirmed my suspicions of eczema and prescribed a new ointment, being very helpful and mindful of my financial situation by finding a cheap option for me. He also referred me to a dermatologist, which I am following up on since my symptoms have returned after the prescribed treatment time.

    Cody Wasner MD
Dr. Wasner is fantastic! The wait was worth it and because he spends as much time as necessary with his patients. He was kind, up-to-date, and gave me the best new patient exam I've had for this disease. He gave me great hope that working together he can help me get much better. Really liked his bedside manner and am grateful for him! He doesn't take new patients so I was thankful to get in by referral.

    Quinn, Dr. Robert T
He is a really good doctor. He is really funny, and comfortable to be around, and he is a perfectionist, and he just does a really good job. The interaction with him was great. He made time for me on one of his days off, and he is just very flexible, and I like him a lot. The work turned out great.

    Bend Memorial Clinic
It's a big operation and they have lots of specialties. It would be my first go-to place to take someone who needs cure. They have two urgent care clinics but they don't stay open 24 hours. They're as good as anybody.

Dr. Davey is professional, courteous, thorough and genuinely very caring.
Her office is run very efficiently. I see her on a regular basis and I seldom have to wait beyond the scheduled appointment time.
She accepted the Oregon Health Plan insurance.

    Knapp, Dr. Stephen L.

I found Wall St Family Practice while researching online (including Angie's list). What attracted me to them was that they were a smaller practice with a couple main physicians vs. the large mulit-physician style. I was looking for a more personable doctor patient relationship which I did find with WSFP. Dr. Knapp tends to have full schedule with his longtime patients so if you don't mind waiting until he has an opening to get to see him personally. If need an immediate appt. like I did, you will see his PA, Rebecca Short-Brewer.

She is just as competent as Dr. Knapp so the care you receive will be equivalent. I went in for a general physical including blood work. They asked for permission to get my records from my previous doctor so she could review my medical history which helped her in diagnosis. She was very personable and was genuinely interested in getting to know me. Rather than throwing drugs at you and your medical problems, she tends to suggest lifestyle changes that will help you more in the long run. I was extremely satisfied with my experience with WSFP and will confidently refer them to my friends and family.

I entered her office and it was very peaceful and clean. All ladies working here were very kind and cheerful. Her nurse who did my vitals was friendly and casual. Dr Osullivan herself was quiet and non-assuming. She discussed the appointment and what would happen, then talked about my history. Helped me make some decisions on a procedure I was considering without pressure to decide one way or another. Overall, the appointment went as well as it could for the type of appointment I was there for.

    Dr. Audrey Davey
Dr. Davey works at the BMC westside location. She is very thorough. I love her and quot;bedsideand quot; manner. I find her very positive while still addressing the necessary issues. She takes her time, is very pleasant, and is sure to cover anything I may want to discuss. Being new to Bend, my wife and I were looking for a family doctor. I would highly recommend Dr. Davey.
