    Bought a used car from Subaguru, being sold on consignment for one of their employees. Long story short, within less than 100 miles a CEL for major repair on the exhaust air injection system ($1-2k fix) & I find the car had bad rod bearings covered up as "piston slap" ($4k-8k fix). I thought a long time about not posting this review because technically one of Subagurus employees sold the car to me, but in the end it was sold through Subaguru using Subaguru's reputation to make the sale, so ultimately it is their responsibility. To this date neither the employee or Subaguru have assisted in any way, they have lost my business for life and the business of anyone that I can steer away from their company.

    The work was done in a very  expedient manner.  Radiator looked brand new when they finished.  They were a life saver as this radiator can no longer be purchased.  I was also given answers to all the questions I asked and received additional information and suggestions for which I did not think to ask.  All the employees, Karl Lindgren (manager), John and Lacey were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.  I felt the pricing was very reasonable for the work that was done.

    They are not that expensive, their reasonable they are not cheap but they are reasonable. I'm gonna be with him forever, I was so glad to find him, because I have been taking my Toyota to a dealership and they are so expensive. I am thinking gosh for the oil change and switching the tires over I don't have wheels so they have to actually change the tires that's why it's a little more.

    Mac?s Radiator Service of Bend

     I had the radiator in my 2006 Nissan Titan replaced by Mac's
    Radiator Service in Bend, Oregon. They called, said it was ready, and when I
    went to get it the rear bumper was bent into the right rear quarter panel.  They acted as though nothing had happened and
    when I asked about it they pretended not to know anything about it.  The manager said, " Oh, did someone hit
    it going by?" Long story short, Mac's denied responsibility.  The manager said he would have to talk to the
    "Boss".  The manager said the
    Boss offered to split the cost with me. 
    I refused to share the cost since the damage occurred while the vehicle
    was in their custody.  I was handed the
    phone to talk to the Boss  - 'Curtis'. I
    explained to Curtis that I would have to file a police report if they were
    going to deny responsibility.  I was then
    told they would take care of it and was sent to a nearby Autobody repair shop
    to get an estimate for them.  After
    obtaining the estimate for the repairs I was told that Mac's would order a new
    bumper and call me when it was in.  They
    informed me that Mac's would send the Titan out for the body repair and install
    the bumper themselves, even though they had never installed one before.  I had to call them a week later since I never
    heard back from them.  I was told the
    bumper had just arrived, and that I would need to leave the vehicle with them
    for an indefinite length of time. At this time I explained that the Air
    Conditioning was not working since they had replaced the radiator.  I was told that this was a coincidence and
    that they were not responsible for it and that I would need to have it
    recharged.  During all of the
    conversations and discussions with the staff at Macs' during this issue they
    were very rude and in denial.  Two weeks
    later I got the Titan back, bumper replaced, body repaired, the AC still not
    working.   I was told by the shop manager
    that they were experts in AC and that it was their ?bread and butter?.  Not comfortable with having Mac?s do the AC recharge
    I took it elsewhere.  The AC system
    recharge was performed and proved to not be the problem.  Smells like sabotage to me.  It is operators like Mac?s of Bend that give
    mechanics a bad name.

    They did not know how to fix it. After a few weeks they came to fix the motherboard which they thought was the issue. This did not seem to fix the issue as he had to come back out a few weeks later to replace the motherboard again. We felt that they didn't really look into what was going wrong, and our water heater is still not fixed. Customer service was pretty terrible, they were not very polite.

    It was my only time using the company and they did a great job. They were great at explaining what was going on. They had a great staff. I believe it was a husband and wife team and ran their business well. I dropped the car off in the morning and the issue was resolved in the early afternoon. I would not hesitate to use them again.

    They are very helpful. They get the job done quickly and they are all about business. The truck had the old refrigeration in it and they took care of that for me and put in the new stuff. They guarantee their work and told me if I had any troubles then they would take care of it.

    A week or two later the new serpentine belt shreds apart while driving and wraps around many engine parts. I am in the middle of nowhere 1,000 miles from home. 4runner is towed  to nearest Toyota dealer, they diagnose problem as faulty installation of fan belt. Toyota of Bend does not agree, will not pay any fees, insists they are great and this is my tough luck. Very poor attitude for a service department. I paid substantial costs for Toyota of Bend's error.

    Serviced Brakes were OK, Only had a rock chip in the rotor. They fixed it and preformed a LOF at the same time...
    Save me down time and money....
    Steve and Toni are amazing, The waiting room is beautiful and comfortable. Coffee, Cookies, TV... Internet... I could work on my laptop and save valuable time. The service was excellent, Van was clean, they noted some future service needs that need to be done soon. Great Service, Great Value
