"Everything went as we asked. We had closed all the inside doors of the house, keeping our dog in the living area but had forgotten that her water was inside one" of the closed off rooms.
(pet service owner) noticed that and texted me asking where our dog's water was located. She put a fresh bowl of water out for our dog and their service couldn't have been better. I would recommend this business to everyone who has an animal.

"This was the first time I'd been to this vet because my pet's previous vet retired. The facility was easy to find off of Lithia Pinecrest, clean, organized," and staffed with courteous, friendly people. Both the vet tech and the vet worked well w/ my dog. The prices were better than my previous vet. I mostly appreciated the clinic giving me a choice of services - in other words - allowing me to purchase only what was absolutely necessary for my dog (vs. unnecessary tests, etc.). Likewise, they're going to get my pet on a once a year vaccine program whereas at the previous vet, it was a twice-a-year gig (costly more $).

Hi

The first answer is pretty thorough but I would like to add a few points.

First.. the type of food you are feeding your dog may be the key.  If you are using a food that is grain, rice or corn based in the first three ingredients, please change to a food that is meat or chicken based.  Many dogs are allergic to grain, rice, wheat and corn and these things are used as primary ingredients in many well known, name brand dog foods.  Secondly, all treats that have these ingredients should be cut out.  It takes weeks to months before a food change can show results so you must be patient.  Jumping from one food to another will be counter-productive.

Some dogs are so allergic to flea or other insect bites that one or two bites can cause a severe reaction.  Once the itching/scratching cycle begins, it is hard to stop it.  Benadryl is good but I suggest liquid form.  You can get it inexpensively at one of the dollar stores.  The pills take time to break down in the digestive system so you get better and faster results with the liquid. One tsp= 5cc and most dogs of average size can tolerate that much and more if the dog is a larger breed.

Allergy testing is very expensive and most dogs will test positive to some things.  That does not mean that the itching is coming from those things as many things in the environment can trigger positive test results.  Breaking the cycle of itching is primary and that can be done with prednisone ( short term and last resort after benadryl and bathing), allergy shots( same deal, last resort after easier methods).   This spring and summer have been particularly hard, weather-wise.

Good luck!

After you search for the company, you should get the "no results" page. Scroll down just a little bit, and you'll see a button and a link that say "Add this provider." Click on that to add them to the List! Thanks for the great question.
?
I'm really sorry! It looks like we made some site changes I hadn't noticed before and it made things just a little more confusing (for me, too!). We'll have to look into this to make it easier.
In the meantime, here's what you do:
1) Look for the Submit a Report button. It's yellow and on the right-hand side of the page.
2) Search for the animal cancer care clinic you're looking for. The search box should be inside a yellow bar.
3) You should see a list of potential matches, but on top of those, there should be "add a provider to the List" text in blue, which is where you'll click to get to the add page.

Let me know if you have any trouble. Sorry, again, for this being so confusing.

My chronically ill pup was blessed to have Dr. K as her primary care giver. From the first day,
Beaverton Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
was ill (she was a rescue from
Beaverton Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
) off and on with gastric issues, culminating in diabetes during the last year of her life. Dr K gave her immediate attention and the 3rd month after I got her, she started bleeding internally for no apparent reason and in addition to her wonderful care, Dr. K got her to a specialty hospital to save her life. Dr. K worked intensively with me over the subsequent 6 years -
Beaverton Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
also had been examined by several specialists and the root cause of her issues was something that never showed up on a scan or a blood test - based on her experience and intuition and kept
Beaverton Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
going with a decent quality of life. Once she became diabetic, I know there is no way she ever would have survived without Dr. K's support - it's scary going through this, especially having to give injections, but Dr. K patiently went over what I had to do and worked with me until I felt confident in administering the insulin.
Dr. K also went above and beyond, as she had for
Beaverton Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
, in giving my other older dog the most excellent care for her benign pancreatic tumor and her congestive heart failure. Thanks to her,
Beaverton Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
certainly got more time with a good quality of life than she otherwise might have. It is always sad when the end of life approaches for a beloved pet and Dr. K not only treats the pet, but she is very very supportive of the pet parent as well.
The total team at Summit is a joy to work with and you can tell when you walk through the front door that they truly love all four legged creatures. I just wish an A+ rating was available because that is what Dr. K and her team truly deserve.

The cost was too much. They looked them over and did all kinds of stuff. I had animals in the past and we paid a lot of money for different things. You can't call them up and get any advice over the phone which I think they could at least do when it's minor.

The tooth extraction was done well. My problem arose when my 12 year old golden who had severe arthritis in his rear legs, walked into the office for the tooth extraction on four legs and left only able to use two legs. Their first explanation was he was woozy on the anesthetic. I called the next day because he still wasn't able to walk on his rear paws. The vet that did his extraction said he may have fallen in his crate. I asked if it was possible that after they gave him the anesthetic, they lifted him by his paws, pointing out that they had in their records that he had arthritis and I was picking up medication regularly for this, so they should have known better than that. The vet denied that they would do that. Since they knew I couldn't prove otherwise, I felt our discussion was at an end. He was on two paws for four days, then he gradually started using one of his rear legs slightly, but it still appeared to be painful to him.. He was an 80 pound dog that I had to help go outside using a towel to support his rear end from the time I brought him home from the extraction, up to his last day of life. To give the vet credit, he did call every couple of days for about a week to check on him. He was an old dog and I felt bad that something that I meant to improve his quality of life had actually made it so much worse. In
Beaverton Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
of that year, he stopped eating and was wasting. I had him euthanized at another vet's office. On the day he died, he could only use three paws. I blame Binder for that. I think that all of the vets' care was good. I think this was carelessness on the part of their staff. Most, if not all, of their staff have worked there for several years. But the vet has the ultimate responsibility over the care of your pet. I will never go back there.

They're open 24-hours so when you board a cat, you can drop him off and pick him up at anytime. You don't have to incur another day's charge for having a couple of hours past. It's very convenient. I'm a graveyard shift worker so it makes it really convenient. When I took her in one time, I liked a couple of things that they pointed out to me that had not been pointed out to me by another
Beaverton Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
. They're very reasonable in cost for the same services that would cost a lot more with other vets.

Very sweet person, loves our animals. Very efficient service. They'll even keep dogs when they're sick if you're having trouble caring for them.

He's the type of person who you feel comfortable with putting the pets in his hands.

They send you appointment reminders. They have a great staff - very pleasant.

They even do baths, nails, and let you drop them off early and pick them up later in the day.

I love them! My kids take their pets there, too.

This is a more general review. NCAH has been our vet for 18 years. They've kept our cats healthy and us happy for years. we've been through the full gamut: from having them give first check-ups to adopted kittens to having to them help us say goodbye to our old, sick cats. The staff (from the vets to techs to the front desk) has always been pleasant, patient, understanding, compassionate, and interested in the well-being of our pets. They make sure to keep us up-to-date on check-ups and vaccinations. And they've always been up-front about options, costs, and balancing the two for our pets' health. For us, they've been the best vets we could ask for, and we've continued to take our pets there since we've moved out of the immediate neighborhood, more than eight years ago.

The one thing that made me write the review was the love and attention that my dog received as soon as we walked through the door. They didn't know anything about her and still that didn't stop them from a very warm welcome. We just moved here and and looking for a vet. I herd about this vet through a local, so with us being new in town I decided to give them a shot.

(my furry baby) is 13yrs old and I want done what ever she needs but I didn't want her to be a "another" dog. I was amazed by the level of affection and attention she received. The vets staff was very hands on and thorough with giving her annual check up. The Doc. was very nice and explained each and everything they were doing for her and why. Turns out she's quite healthy for her age!
I think of all the places that you seem to wait for hours on end but this went quickly, I don't think we waited more than 5min. in the lobby. I feel very confident we found our new vet! The best part for
Beaverton Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
after her check up she received her own ice cream cone, dogie size, it was a nice touch I thought. Needles to say she gobbled it right up!
