It went really good. They were good. What stood out the most about them was the quality of work. They're a full-blown contractor. So they will do anything. They came out and did some beautiful painting around my house. On the floor, they put on some nice molding around the floor, the floor molding that goes around. It's called base mold, I guess. They cut that, painted it and put it on. It was a beautiful job, real professional. With the things they did we never had a complaint with.

Do not deal with these folks if you can help it.  Doesn't appear a single one knows what they are doing.
I specifically ordered a brand/model/size of headgear.  They shipped the wrong size, which is useless to me.  I immediatlely called to get the correct size, the person I spoke with assured me they would get me the correct size out asap.  A week later and still no replacement equipment.
I would NEVER rely on the folks who work at Apria to provide correct equipment when you really need something.
Try to find another vendor who can provide your equipment.

We were very pleased with them. It is quite a team effort. You have a nurse assigned it you. She comes out and analyzes the patient and determines what the needs are. I thought they were very professional and at the same time very personable. They were there when the patient needs them.

. They are wonderful. They don’t like their address readily available. They want to keep the dying process very private. My father-in-law was very tall and they even ordered a special bed so that he could accommodate his body frame so he could feel very comfortable even though he was out of it in the end. They are very sensitive. When we would take our mother-in-law out to dinner for a break, they would have a volunteer sit by his side. He was Austrian and they had asked what kind of music he liked and things like that. They had some classical music playing softly in the background and the volunteer was stroking his hand and talking to him. What a wonderful experience. They brought in a priest for last rites. They respected all religious denominations. They were very good. I had to take off the wedding ring at my mother-in-law’s request since she could not do it. That was very hard on me. The Chaplin who was on staff who actually saw that I was a bit shaken after that experience came and counselled me and pulled me aside privately. Their follow up was outstanding after his death and even a year later they send a card to our family and offering any follow up services in case we were having adjustment problems. They tried to get my mother-in-law to go to support group for grieving. From beginning to the end it was a wonderful experience. It was extra ordinary especially when the hospital had done one of pushing him out really quickly even when they had told us that he could die at any time. They called us suddenly at home a couple of days before he died and said he had to get out. The young doctor in charge had apparently got into an argument with the older doctor who told us that and he just announced to me. At that point of time there was a transport vehicle coming and we were not even at the hospital. So Signature Hospice handled it beautifully.

My mom was not one of those sweet-tempered Alzheimer patients. Her last days could have been miserable for everyone. Instead, we were able to find ways to engage her attention and keep her reasonably happy. I feel that these services made a big difference.
