    Dry Space Waterproofing
P.S. on last review for 05/04/2018: When it came time for a yearly tune-up, we tried contacting this company. No reply. We hired another service, and they found issues. We had city inspectors in and had to fix code violations left by this company. All on our own dime. By now, this company has probably changed it's name and done subpar work for other people, so be sure to follow the trail of CCB #s and stay away from these people.

Our agency needed to remodel a shelter kitchen area, and picked IYH from a pool of many RFQ bidders as the most qualified and capable. The contract negotiations were straight-forward, direct, efficient, and very friendly clearly, this team knows how to work well together. The pre-construction team focused on the agencys needs and truly crawled inside the details in the RFQ. They efficiently kept within a reasonable timeframe as to start of construction and projected end dates, effectively dealing with our occasional concerns and one act of God event. Most importantly, the on-site team (project manager, site manager, technical staff) all were well-versed in the needs of a shelter, and IYH took very many steps to make sure the agencys shelter residents were both informed and kept safe, even making construction crew pictures and names available prior to construction. During the construction phase , IYH exceptionally managed demolition, debris management/removal, renovation (framing, plumbing, electrical (both low and high voltage), windows, exterior siding, materials deliveries, sheetrock, painting, cabinetry, countertops, tile backsplash, flooring, lighting), and post-renovation cleanup including in-situ deep cleaning. Also, IYH was responsive to the predictable mid-construction changes, including a contract expansion for flooring throughout the structure, replacement of the several bath/restroom features, and so on. The high quality of the team members and the work they have produced is evident in both now-hidden and still-visible ways throughout the shelter. Post-construction, our agency will continue to leverage the multi-faceted IYH maintenance and handyman services for both this structure and other needs and we strongly encourage other agencies and homeowners to check out the thorough, professional, and personal work this team easily delivers.

    Destination Homes
JC and his team did an amazing job transforming our basement! He stepped into our nightmare combination of poor design choices, out of code work, and numerous mysteries left to us by a previous homeowner. He kept his subcontractors on task and on schedule and we now have an amazing space that we love.

    Bloom Pest Control
They came the same day to do a quote because they had an opening. Nathan came over and he really set me at ease with the process. We had pests that nested under our house, and they had a solution for cleanup, mitigation and sealing of the crawlspace so it wouldn't happen again. I'd say I'd hire them again for a cleanup, but I don't think we have to! They did such a great job. I'd highly recommend them for any of my friends, family and neighbors. A+++

    John's Waterproofing
Carolann was informative and knowledgeable and helped us to decide what worked best for our situation and budget. The work was scheduled in mid-June and was done on time. The crew worked very hard, in hot temperatures. They cleaned up after themselves and the crew leader was available to answer questions and explain what was being done. We will see once the rain returns, how the pumps work, but I am not anticipating problems. If there are any issues they say that they stand behind their work and that is what I have heard from others.

    System Pavers
System Pavers just finished our backyard makeover and we are thrilled with the result. This was our second project with System Pavers after a smaller side yard job done in December 2017. The whole experience was enjoyable from working with the designer, Lidiana, to scheduling & customer service with Cari, to the project manager, Jeremy and the great installation crew. All were professional, courteous, flexible and helpful. The installation was efficient and fast. We also value the System Pavers warranty coverage to ensure our yard is always in top condition. Our yard is now a place to be with an enlarged patio and turf. No more swamps and mud in winter! Great place to enjoy with friends and family. We highly recommend System Pavers for overall satisfaction and value. Rick E.

    Clog Pro Plumbing And Drain
The rental house that I was in the process of selling failed a sewer inspection. The buyer and I were both surprised, since the house was only 17 years old.... The video inspection showed that the PVC pipe under the street was not draining completely due to a belly in the line-probably from earth settling after installation. It had never clogged completely or caused any problems, but because it failed inspection, it needed to be replaced before the sale could go forward. I contacted several potential repair companies and received either unsatisfactory responses or none at all... Clog Pro got back to me promptly and scheduled to meet me just two days later. Time was of the essence since the closing on the house was already scheduled! I sent Clog Pro the video link of the sewer inspection in advance of our appointment to clarify the issue. I was hoping that since the problem was under the street, that the City might be responsible for the issue, but learned that was not the case... Jesse from Clog Pro met me at the appointed time and outlined the remedy for the situation. Because the issue was in the last part of the pipe, under the street, it would need to be excavated and replaced, traffic diverted, and the street re-paved as part of the job. Other utilities were in the area of excavation, which made it more challenging, and required hand digging etc. The pipe was 12 feet underground...a major project.... Jesse was up front and said this would be expensive to repair.... But it needed to be done and he impressed me with his expertise from 19 years in the business, and assured me that the company could handle the job. They handled all county permits and posted the bond necessary for the job to go forward. The closing was scheduled within a week and Clog Pro could not start the job until after the closing date. Jesse helpfully suggested that if the the buyers wanted and to move in before the job was complete (they did), that we could set up payment for the job in the escrow account at closing so the buyers would be assured that the repair would be done. This was really a helpful suggestion, which worked for the buyers and the title company. The job was stared as scheduled right after the buyers moved in. Due to required soil compaction tests by the county, which took a couple days, the job took over a week to complete. But service to the home was only interrupted fort a couple hours while the new pipe was actually being installed. The communication and updates from Clog Pro were fantastic. Terese was my main company contact and she was just great to work with. Although this was an unpleasant and expensive last minute surprise in selling this home, Clog Pro handled everything in the best possible way. I highly recommend them!

    Dry Space Waterproofing
This was a long process. I had lots of questions for Arnie, and he always took time to answer, as soon as he could. He came well-recommended because of his previous business (NatureSafe Landcare Inc.). Under this new company name, his team put in a Fast Drain around the perimeter, new Vapor Barrier, and 1/3 hp sump pump in our crawl space. That work was fast and professional. The only tarnish on an otherwise stellar experience was his lack of follow-through. We were supposed to hear from his electrician to hook it up, but never heard from them and hired our own. Arnie also said he could replace our old watering control box, too (though it was not part of the original contract), but that didn't happen. I imagine he's to busy with this new business, but even acknowledgment that he couldn't follow through would have been appreciated.

    River Rock General Construction
Jason came for an estimate on time, was very polite and professional. We agreed on a scope of work and the price. The crew of 3 worked for 3 days, removing vapor barrier, grading soil in the crawlspace and digging trenches around the perimeter of the foundation to lead water to the existing drain at the lowest point of the crawlspace. We decided not to go with the pump, relying on gravity instead, so they had to bring in some clay to create the slope. They laid drainage pipes, covered them with gravel, and installed a new vapor barrier. At any point during the project the area was very well protected from dirt and mud, all floor and walls along the path covered with paper and rugs. Then cleaned everything at the end of each day and when it was done, leaving it all as if they never came. I was very impressed and would definitely recommend their services.

    Ability Plus Drainage Co
Ability Plus Drainage listened to the problem I described and the end result I wanted (others didn't). Their proposed solution made sense (others didn't) and they walked me through it all and answered all questions. They did point out that part of what I wanted done was "belt and suspenders" (which I knew, but was willing to pay for as it was not the bulk of the work and was relatively cheap insurance). They showed up promptly every day they were scheduled, worked hard all week, and best of all, I can now report that our basement appears to finally be dry. Work performed: * They dug out a trench along the problem area of our foundation, down past the cold joint. A new French drain was installed below the level of the cold joint. * They painted waterproofing onto the foundation wall (this was the overkill part, but it was a minor portion of the overall cost since the foundation wall was exposed anyway, so it was worth it to me). * They installed Aquaboard against the foundation wall. * They created a swale for diverting surface water and a vertical connection to the French drain.
