AA Cut Above ExteriorsA Cut Above Exteriors completed our home roof shingle, siding and outdoor painting projects. All parts of the work were outstanding. Attention to all details, follow-through, and word-keeping were hallmarks from start to finish. Their subject matter expertise and workmanship were evident and clearly exceeded other contractors’ offerings albeit a bit more expensive than others’. The two-man installation crew were ACAE employees (not sub-contractors), knowledgeable and completed both installation stages of the project. Without question, I’ve never seen two men work harder nor more conscientiously and efficiently. The finished project quality has garnered many neighbor compliments. Their associated painters were superb as well. Without reservation I highly recommend ACAE.- David S.

AGentry Family Construction LLCMy family is absolutely stunned at the expedience of Gentry Family construction. We witnessed firsthand how they transformed our neighbor’s home into the most attractive home on the block and decided to consult for a siding job. Our home wasn’t built as it should have been and as we prepared to sell, we became aware that our home was never wrapped, we had dry rot in several places, and other issues. It became clear to us that there was a lot to be remediated. My husband and I were frankly quite terrified at how this remodel could quickly become cost prohibitive. After consulting with Gentry construction and working with Tim Gentry, we were stunned to learn that they were not only able and willing to take the job, but that the bid was more affordable than we first thought. Once the crew came out to start the job, they worked their tails off until it was finished. Our home looks impeccably sharp and it’s not even painted yet. We now have beautiful shutters too. Along the way if there were any questions we had of them or vice versa, our exchange was always professional, but friendly and personable. We’ve had half a dozen contractors through the house in the last several months and I can say with utmost certainty we prefer Gentry. AA Cut Above ExteriorsWe have just completed a very large siding job on both my house and extended two car garage. The house floor plan is quite complex with many tricky places and is also two stories. The entire job took just under 7 weeks because there was plenty of bad wood hiding under the old vinyl siding. I ended up replacing 12 windows and 2 doors along with about half the fascia and barge board. There was plenty of plywood and framing lumber to replace to boot. All this work was performed by A Cut Above’s two-man crew. The workers are quite skilled at all the tasks involved with this type of rework. Their knowledge of Hardie Plank installation techniques and their attention to detail are remarkable. I am very pleased with the outcome. They have turned a house built in 1950 in to one as tough and well protected as a new one. I highly A Cut Above Exteriors.- martin r.

D2 guys showed up, one was lurking by their truck and smoking. Didn't participate or say a word to me. He also put his shirt up over his mouth when he wandered in to the conversation, no mask. The other walked around with me though he didn't ask any questions or seem interested in the information I tried to give him. The whole experience was so bad, I ended the meeting quickly. They were going to call with a bid but I never heard from them again.

AScott Jackman came to provide a quote to convert our tub to a walk-in shower with a bench, two grab bars, two shelves, a shower door, and an adjustable hand-held shower head. The company told us the appointment was at 10 a.m. but evidently there was a miscommunication, and he came at 2 p.m. Scott was very friendly and personable, and he thoroughly explained all options to my husband, while I was at work. My husband made his selections, and Scott was able to throw in additional material to cover the ceiling of the shower at no charge. We also were able to use a promotional discount of half off the installation fee. Since my husband wanted to get my agreement on his selections, Scott agreed to come back the next day to finalize the plan. My husband felt there could have been additional brochures of the available options, and the project does seem expensive, but the materials to be used are of high quality. The project will take 1-2 days to be done in a few months, and then I can provide a review on the quality of the work done.
