I purchased this deal on 08/15/2017. Crew came on 10/09/2017, worked diligently and efficiently and stayed til the project was done. This company was easy to deal with and I had no problems. Would recommend them easily with the warning that one may need to be willing to wait to be put on the work schedule, since they work each project in turn.

The quality of the work was exceptional, they were done in a day, and we are extremely pleased with the result. They came back two weeks later to paint, and we are very pleased with the end result. We had a bit of angst when trying to confirm the schedule because we couldn't get the person in charge of scheduling to call us back. It all worked out in the end, though.

    Michael Angelo Exteriors
Michael Angelo Exteriors was recommended to us by several of our neighbors who had used them to paint their houses over the past few summers. They couldn't say enough about the quality of the workmanship and the fabulous pricing. We had an estimate done and made the decision to use them also. We upgraded our paint to Benjamin Moore Aura, which added a little increase to the price, but it was still incredibly reasonable. My husband is quite anal about preparation and painting and has always painted our houses himself, so he was a bit nervous about having somebody else do it. He can't say enough about what a great job they did in both prep and painting. Jose and Jaime were hard-working and their attention to detail was wonderful. They were extremely neat in their work and not a speck of paint was left behind in unwanted places. We could not be more pleased with the results and have already recommended Michael Angelo Exteriors to others we know who are contemplating painting their house in the next year or two.

    3 R's Construction Management LLC
We have used 3 R's for a good amount of work when we bought the house in March, 2015:  front and back yard fencing, a range of interior fixes and upgrades.  Please refer back to our previous review.  They were, and are, fabulous at what they do, so of course I called them again.

The owner called me within 3 minutes of sending my email request for help!  He showed up the next morning with another employee who assisted by immediately getting in the crawl space to check on the foundation and moisture barrier.  Meanwhile, the owner assessed the problem further, checked all the other down spouts around the house, and talked my son through taking the drain pipe down, a neat trick to assess bolt sizes, and how to counter the problem for the future.

All the while offering calming comments and assorted helpful hints.  Really, Duane, the owner, all employees and sub-contractors we have had contact with have been professional, congenial, diligent workers, and produce the results we have asked for.  Great consistency.  I whole-heartedly give 3 R's the highest recommendation possible.

Our house faces southwest.  We take storms right in the face.  Our front windows had started to cloud over between the layers of glass. You could feel hot and cold pouring into the room from the aluminum frames around the windows.  The aluminum siding in unforgiving and cannot be removed and put back up.  It is so outdated that we couldn't even find any scrap. SO, we bit the bullet and decided to go through and replace all 19 windows in the house and put up new Hardiplank siding.  Dorson Jackson knew exactly what to order to provide great quality for our budget.  The windows have a slight tint to them to increase the energy efficiency and deflect more of the sunlight, yet they appear to let all the light in the interior.  They don't appear dark at all when looking out.  We immediately felt a huge difference in the rooms with the new windows.  We were absolutely amazed at how quickly they were able to complete the job, and with skill.  The siding came off, the wood on the house was evaluated and repaired as needed, the house wrapped.  It took one day for all the new windows to be placed.  They had to be both inside and outside the house.  They worked quickly and cleanly.  I didn't notice any dirt on the carpet, any sawdust was cleaned up, no dings in anything in the rooms.  They were very respectful going around our personal space.  The siding only took two days, despite the fact that the house is quite large (36,000 sq ft) and we were having a spring storm.  They were fast and precise.  Seams and corners were done perfectly.  It was one more short day for the interior trim around the windows.  One day for painting.  The finished job is gorgeous and our house is so amazingly comfortable.  If I'd known what a difference it would make, I would have done it sooner.  We are already noticing a difference in our energy costs.  Our furnace and AC don't have to work nearly as hard as before.  I can only imagine that this will be a huge plus if we should ever need to put our house on the market.

I would never have him again. I wrote to Angie's List for help because I thought he might complain as I didn't pay him the total amount.. I ended up paying $3000 at the end. He completed a little more than half the job. One main thing that kept happening was that he would continually not show up on the correct day or arrive on time, and then he would end up apologizing Over and over . . . . He was late several times. I found people out in my yard working on garbage cans and left over materials. I found a man sanding my brand new front door in a bunch of dirt. This was 8 at night. He was just not qualified or organized to manage a crew. He would say he had ordered things and we would find they never were ordered. I ended up ordering them myself. This happened with my front porch posts, the stone for the front of the house and my shutters. When he finally ordered the shutters they were the wrong size, color and style! It was just one thing after another. He didn't write down things we would talk about and the information did not make it to his crew and things were not completed as we discussed. More than once when he showed up it was with a totally different crew than the crew he originally planned. . I would find out later he hired them at the last minuted because his regular crew backed out. He did hire one young man to do the painting. He was outstanding. He did an excellent job. I was very happy with him but he had to come and ask me what colors I wanted for all the different parts of the house because Michael never relayed any information to him. Michael said he was licensed, I checked him out but got conflicting information so I am not sure if he actually was. I contracted with him in March and the job never did get done. I had somebody else finish it in September 7 months from the time Michael started. . Two of the workers that put stone on the front of my house brought their boys to play all day. When I told Michael about this he got defensive. I told Michael that I could be liable if anyone got hurt . I was paying them to work not babysit. He acted as if he did not understand the problem. I found him literally hugging some of the crew out in my front yard thanking them for coming because he was so thankful they showed up. The men that worked for him were constantly coming and saying they were sorry for errors that were caused by Michael. Not enough stone ordered, no paint when they arrived . Often I would provide ice water as it was very hot. He was supposed to be checking on them and I don't ever remember having him come and check on them. He would come at night once in a great while. He would hire workers that couldn't get jobs and so he would have to drive them here and pick them up at night. He would pick them at 9 or 10 in the night sometimes. It was one thing after another. Be sure you get an itemized contract with a written time frame if you choose to work with Michael.

We were out of town during the inspection of and completion of project. I was most pleased with the excellent communication with us and construction work and matching of paint. The most timely manner to prevent further problems with the needed work and great communication between Mr. Richard Schmerbach and us could not be matched by any other business with more efficiency.

We had Thomas over to check on an unusual mark on the interior wall, under our window. When we broke into the wall that's when we found water damage, dry rot, and mold. Upon investigation we came to the conclusion that the siding was improperly installed when the house was built, and would need to be replaced. Thomas used the best materials for the job, and anything we asked for we got, even if it set him back because the parts needed to be ordered. He kept us up to date with all that was happening at all times. When the old siding was removed we also found all the windows had been installed improperly. Thomas fixed all water damage, re-framed windows that needed it, and installed new ones. The insulation was of very low quality so he also removed and reinstalled a higher rated insulation for us. The original builders had installed plastic inside the walls directly behind the drywall. Thomas and his son removed this also. He reran our cable lines inside the walls for three of our rooms so that the outlets were on the correct sides of the room, thus eliminating exposed wires inside our home. Not only did he do a wonderful job on our home, he worked around our young children's schedules. They took a late lunch just so the girls could get their naps in; they started started late in the morning and worked through the hottest part of the summer days just so the girls wouldn't wake up to early to the sounds of construction. Thomas and his son Marc were a joy to work with. They are always upbeat and easy to talk to; they didn't mind taking extra time to explain what they were doing and why. By the end of the summer, and the end of the job, Thomas and Marc had not only become our go-to guys, but they felt like part of the family. My favorite memory is of Thomas replacing our back patio door and talking with our three year old who was giving him an all day lecture on all-things princess and Tinker bell. They also replace our fencing on the front of the house. It was in bad shape and Thomas found new panels on sale for us, then he built us a new gate also. The fence was done for us free of charge along with tile work in our kitchen to fix this back splash. They put in new window molding inside our house and it is gorgeous! Our house is now so much more solid our energy bills have already dropped. Not to mention it's the best looking home on the block! We had Cascade Valley Construction replace the siding on our house along with several other upgrades, which all turned out perfect. Thomas Yoney (and son Mark on this job) worked with us closely to make sure that we got exactly what we wanted, and we were very confident in their work throughout the entire process. These guys worked hard everyday and were really just nice to work with. We were very happy with Thomas’s craftsmanship and all of the precision he puts into his work, both inside and out. We will be going back to Cascade Valley Construction again for all future home improvements and repairs.,

There are several things about Michael and his siding crew that are exemplary: quality of work, speed of work and general professionalism. The crew arrived early each day and meals and breaks were taken on the fly as they continued to work to complete the siding project. What an unassailable work ethic!!! Additionally they came in UNDER the time set to complete the job by TWO DAYS!!! We had just installed a new deck--not a scratch on it. We liked their work so well we have contracted with Michael to do several other large projects--painting the exterior of the house, installing a utility shed and we have asked for a bid on windows. We could not be more pleased with Michael's work and that of his crew. Diane White

    Quality Handyman Services
Steve got me estimates on all projects over night, he showed up on time and worked until everything was done, even after I had left the house to move to Oregon. His estimates were right on, no surprises. His team moved from one project to the next. I have a 3 story house with lots of stone plus a 10X40 foot retaining wall that was power washed to perfection. He selected a lovely color for the house, painting was done swiftly and looks great. He checked my leaky chimney twice and for the first time in years stopped the leaks. I would highly recommend him to anyone that wants all three elements, on time, quality and price from a handyman. Also if he can't do it, he'll tell you and even make a recommendation on someone who can.
