    I I had been shopping around for new tires for my truck, and found a good deal at Pep Boys. I made an appt. for 6pm, and arrived five minutes early. When I came in, the guy at the desk told me there would be no guarantee they could get it done, because I had made the appt. online. Then he said he didn't even know if they had the tires in stock. He left to go check, and then came back and said they were in stock, and they would be able to get it done.
    It looked like they only had two guys working in the bay. I waited patiently with a few others that were waiting, but when 8pm came around, and I saw their technicians standing around and talking on their phones in the bay with no cars pulled in, I about lost my mind. Then the girl who was the assistant manager, had to tell them to get started on my truck, and another customers vehicle. 10 minutes later, and the technician was up front talking to the assistant manager about speaking Spanish vs. German while what appeared to be texting on the phone. W**? He finally pulled my truck in, and started breaking down my tires to get new ones put on. The job wrapped up at about 8:50pm, and I had to go outside to tell them I wanted to keep the tires they took off my truck. I told the guy when I first got there, but he had went home already, and the girl was talking to a customer on the phone. I came back in, and waited again patiently to pay so that I could go home. Again the assistant manager was on the phone. I was thinking maybe she would put him on hold so she could get me out of there, but again I waited about 12 min to pay. The time stamp on my receipt was 903pm. It seems they are short staffed, and have communication problems. Over 3hrs. to get some tires put on seems a bit ridiculous to me. The thing is if they would have told me it would have been 3hrs, I would have just made an appt. for the next day, or went somewhere else. The price I paid for the tires was awesome, but if I knew it would have been like this I would have just went some place else. I am dreading the day I have to go back to get the tires rotated. Thinking of doing it myself or taking it someplace else.

    However, when I tried to replace the back tires under the warranty (was less than one year and under the 30K mile stipulation that was attached to my invoice), we were offered a mere partial credit and the manager was unprofessional and rude.  I only write this review as a warning to potential buyers to avoid this location.  I was a customer at the Big O Tires in Edmond for ten years, and never had this kind of treatment so I am not at all slamming the business; only the Yukon location.  Beware of any warranties they offer.  The terms of the warranty that I had stapled to my invoice and the terms of the warranty that they were reading from were not the same.  Apparently, I was not given all of the paperwork, because I was trying to find the referenced paper and it was not in my possession.  
    I do not have a problem with warranties and I understand that warranties on tires can be subject to many different hazards, etc.  
    What I have a problem with is when I pay for a warranty and I get a piece of paper included with my receipt (in the nice envelope they provide - which is convenient!) and that warranty is not honored when something happens during the time period and the mileage filters.  Moreover, the apparent terms and conditions that are referenced by the company are off a piece of paper that was not given to me.  Please honor the warranties customers pay for, or do not offer warranties at all.  Buyer beware.

    The transmission failed on my 2004 Avalanche 4x4 Labor Day weekend, I waited until Monday and made an attempt to call them hoping to leave a message and get someone to call me back the next day. I was very surprised when they answered and when I shared with them the problem that I had experienced, they were quick to offer ideas as to what the problem was and quoted me a price for a complete rebuild. Even though they were busy with other vehicles, they were still able to get my truck completed within a week with a 12,000 mile/12 month warranty for the original quoted price. Unfortunately after getting my truck back, the same problem reoccurred. I had it towed back to the establishment and called them the following business day. Shocked that it had failed, they immediately went to work on it and replaced the same component that failed the first time with a heavy duty version. I have not had any problems since and have shared my experiences with others that can benefit from their services.

    They thoroughly repaired my motorcycle. The parts took a long time to get into the shop. All in all, they had my bike for over 3 weeks which seems like a long time to me. The bike looked great when they were finished and it ran wonderfully. They did miss one thing, the handle grip was damaged and I didn't realize it for a couple weeks. The shop wouldn't admit that it was related although I know for a fact that it was, and they therefore would not put it on the original claim.

    Within the last year, I had new tires put on my truck and that included free alignment adjustment for the first year. I made sure that I scheduled an oil change close to that anniversary so that they could give me that free adjustment. Many people might forget that they will do this and they miss out on what amounts to about $100 value. They changed my oil, topped off my fluids, checked the nitrogen in my tires and made slight adjustments to the wheel alignment. I love that they give a computer printout showing the alignment needs and how they fixed it.

    The driver (JW) was freindly and courtious, he did a good and caring job loading my vehicle on his flat bed. I followed him to the garage and all went well. Thanks JW
    The price of $140 was the cheapest I could find.

    The wait for the service was going to be 2 hours, so I went to a competitor who took the car right in. I may still try them again. I will at least ask for tire quotes, but I was impressed with the competitor.

    I initially went in to have them rotate and balance my tires for a long road trip. The tech found poor tire wear on my front tires, so they sold and installed two new tires. Good experience, fast service (didn't have to wait for two hours for a simple tire rotation as one of their competitors asked me to do); good value on the tires. The only delay came when their computers went down and there was a bit of a line to get a final invoice and pay for the service; that was incidental to the service though.

    They are amazing people and so nice. I will be using them again if I ever have to. They've been in Oklahoma City a long time so they're very grounded here. The price was very reasonable.
