Recent Review:
DPurchased annual plan with first and last month paid in advance to include lawn mow, edge, week, flower beds, hedges, fertilizer and chemical treatments. First mow was great, but every week after was sloppy, poor edging, missed weeding. Paying in advance was definitely a mistake; they never answered phone calls. The crew just didn't care and even destroyed some plants. Then they just didn't show up on occasions.

CBasically, everything went well but I was very disappointed with the final cost. I was charged $79 for the service call (diagnostics) and another $90 for the repair. (these were reduced 20% with a coupon.) This is a pretty simple fix; the repair took < 30 minutes. I also, of course, paid a premium for the new part. The total cost ($188) was with the 20% discount. The technician did a good job and the washer is running fine now. I will likely look for another provider next time.

AJim's Small Engine RepairMy husband wants a new lawn mower. I don?t want to get a new lawn mower, because I?m a real little person and it?s perfect for my size. I will not, I?m like, ?no, no, no, that has to survive!? Overall an ?A?, that?s why I went back. I really think he?s all an ?A?! It?s a real small shop, he just takes his time. He was actually pretty quick in November. I think, I did bring it the last time in was March or something, it took a little longer, because he had them lined up. Very popular.- Francesca H.

AMower Pro PlusIt went excellent! The mechanics came out the door when I arrived to help unload my mower. They were very friendly and positive about getting my machine running good again. I requested the complete pre-season check up and service, and asked that they check on a couple of concerns I had. They said their service would cover every thing I wanted as part of the package. After I paid the bill (very reasonable) when I returned to pick it up, I visited with the mechanic that worked on my mower. I told me what he found during the service and that when he started it the first time, it didn't sound right so he pulled the carburator and cleaned it out at no charge. He said that effort made the mower purr like a kitten! When I fired it up to load the machine on my trailer (with their help), it did purr like a kitten. I've mowed twice with it and I think it sounds and runs better that when it was new! It is so refreshing to pay for service to an organization that is as friendly, competent and reasonable as Mower Pro Plus in Neosho, MO. They believe in Customer Service as it should be and used to be in the old days. These folks are the real home town deal!! For me, they were the closest Snapper Dealer and about 32 miles from where I live. I'm delighted to drive 64 miles round trip to find their version of Customer Service!- Judith N.

ACordell's Etc II Small EngineThis has been a wonderful experience, as far as equipment repair can be considered wonderful. Our Husqvarna ZTR was only a few weeks old, and broke down right at 6 hours' use. The Cordells were very thorough in their inspection and looked at everything, not just the problems we noted, to make sure this brand new piece of equipment runs as it should, as if it is brand new. They were great about communicating their findings to us and about giving us progress reports. The mower runs great now, and I am extremely satisfied. I also feel completely confident they will stand behind their work if any problems recur, and I will use them again if any repairs are needed in the future. I recommend Cordell's highly and without reservation to anyone who needs lawn mower or small engine repair.- Laura G.

AD&D Tractor Parts/Services LLCHe used his trailer because we didn't have a trailer to take the tractor to him. He worked 6 hours on our tractor, and then used his trailer to being the tractor back to us. He is what my wife calls Country Friendly, meaning someone easy to talk with.- Martha R.

DJr's Small Engine RepairsI wouldn’t advice using them. I had a problem with my lawn tractor. They didn’t even look at it. They told me the cost for the repair. I don’t think they did anything to it. They told me that they needed a valve adjusted and there was also some carburetor work that needed to be done. The gas tank had burst. They also checked the valves. They were very friendly and nice. They had a lot of parts. So in case you need the parts to be serviced, they can do that. However, I am not sure if you it is worth to get them to take the parts out and repair them. I don’t think that I got the service that I paid for. Their price was okay; it would have been great if they did what they had said they would do. I will not use them again in the future.- pat w.

DKEY'S LAWN & GARDEN SMALL ENGI was quoted one week for the service. At a week and a half after not hearing from them I called to be told to call back the next day, she would check and call back if there was information, no call back. The next day it was clear that their phone was out the entire day. Again the day after, no phone. I left work to drive 1/2 an hour to and from to go out to the shop to find out that there was a part on order but everything else was done, would have been an easy call back two days prior. The mower is out of warentee so I don't need an authorized dealer to work on it. Clearly the local shops feel they have a corner on the market while grass is growing like crazy.- Sue O.

FLAWNMOWER SHOP2.5 miles northNOT GOOD. The last time the mower was in for full service, last year, they failed to put the oil plug back in and the oil was in the back of the truck instead of in the mower, it should have been an indicator that it was not the place to go.- Sue O.

FAgri ProductsI took my chainsaw into Agri Products the last week in March, I informed them that it needed a diaphragm and they may as well give it a spring tune up as well. I was told they did not have the part in stock but would get it in and the saw would be ready to go in 7 - 10 days, they had my number and would call me when it was ready. I had not heard from them for 2 weeks so I went in and was told "your saw needs a diaphragm and we'll have to order one so it'll be another week". Please note, I told them what part was needed when I dropped the saw off. Went back the next week and was told "the part we need is on back order". Went back the next week and was told "the guy that fixes the small engines won't be back to work for two days", I told them I would just take my saw home and they said "the carb's taken apart right now but it'll be the first thing worked on when the guy gets back. For sure will be done in 3 days". Gave them 4 more days and went back in the morning, was told "saws not ready". They realized I was very unhappy and promised it would be done by 1PM that same day. I went back at 2:30 and they hadn't touched it. I demanded they pack up the pieces and return my saw, which they did. They also gave me the part no charge, worth less than $3, and it turns out it was the wrong part anyway. I am extremely disappointed with the service and lack of respect from this business. I had just moved onto a farm in the area and they stood to gain a lot of business from me, instead they never once called me or made an attempt to get the job done.- Mary J.

FA & A Equipment IncAbsolutely horrible. Do not use A&A for your Kubota needs. I took my tractor in for warranty repair work. I told them specifically not to do service work, they assured me at drop-off and twice afterward that they were not doing any service work, then they did the service work anyway and refused to release the tractor to my husband until he paid their $313.78 service bill. When I returned to contest this, the owner got angry and raised his voice, saying that 'The work's already been done, the parts on and the fluid in! What do you expect me to do? Undo it? Remove the parts? Suck out the fluid?! Work for free?!' I told him I expected him to follow instructions and not do work that his staff had been specifically told not to do, and then he got angrier and raised his voice even louder. He finally refunded the charge but, as I left, shouted out the door 'Come on back next time you want free work done'. Since when is a customer accountable for a company's mistake, and since when is it acceptable for a company to try to shove a scam like this down a customer's throat, and talk this way to a customer as if she is in the wrong when the company is so clearly at fault? Add to it the fact that it took nearly two weeks longer for them to complete the work done, and not once did A&A call us to update us on the progress despite their promise to do so. So if you need Kubota, go to Gainesville or Ada. If you can't make this long a drive, then choose a competitor's product. Not even Kubota is worth putting up with this rude owner.- Laura G.
