  I thought the medical records would be linked, but they were not. I sat in the ER for 3 hours waiting for them to determine what was wrong with me. At 3:30 am they decided it was appendicitis. I arrived at 12:30 am. I did not go into surgery until 10:00 am. By the time I had my surgery, my appendix was ruptured and I was FULL of infection. This required me to stay longer in the hospital. I also got a surgeon that did not believe in laparoscopic appendectomy. So if it had not been ruptured already, he still would not have done the less invasive surgery. The night person checking me into the ER was very unprofessional and unorganized. I have had surgeries at Norman Regional and their intake is far more professional. | |Other than waiting in the ER for 9 hours with a ruptured appendix, the after surgery care was good. The nurses were caring and efficient.

  They're good. The only thing I don't like about them is from state to state, there are differences. They're pretty good compared to some of the others. I haven't had any problems.
