    This was at the Natalie Breast Center in Tulsa, OK part of St. Francis for a "diagnostic" mamogram. Was a terrible experience - waited for 3 hours in a little room 1/2 undressed with other women in the same situation. They tell you NOTHING and let you sit scared out of your mind, then come back every hour and shuffle you to another room for "further" views, sonograms, whatever and never answer your question "What is going on?" They just say "I don't know" which is a lie. There needs to be a better way to do this so women don't get stressed more than they have to. I left in tears and then later got hit with a big bill that I was never asked if I wanted additional testing or if I was prepared to pay for it. This whole experience was mental torture - psychological terrorism and this experience should be improved. I will NOT return to St. Francis for any further mammograms. They have no care for what women go through or to make the process easier, which could be done.

    The Apothecary Shoppe

    I have to purchase compounding medicine for my feline that is not typically available through the vet.  I thought that this was the only compounding pharmacy in Tulsa, thus I had no choice since I did not hear about any competitors.  Anyways, I went in to pick up the medicine for my feline only to be treated with such lousy customer service from their clerk, Breann.   I sent them an email on their website advising of my concerns with her, but I never received a follow up or response from anyone. 

    Today (7-14-15) someone mentioned a competitor so I gave them a call.  They wanted a 1/3 of what the Apothecary Shoppe charged me for the medicine, and they offer free delivery.   I called them, and they were very helpful even advising that they would handle everything and call me to let me know when the medicine would be ready.  So far so good on the customer service.

    I chose them because it's convenient. The technicians and pharmacists are all very good. I have been going to them forever. Jane is the pharmacy staff, and she takes care of us. We would definitely use them again in the future.

    They're a good hospital and pretty thorough. They just opened up a new emergency room, which was really nice. They wouldn't let me go back there with her for quite awhile. They gave me the runaround for quite a while, which I can understand that, to some degree. But she was kind of it of it from the anesthesia and the surgeries and couldn't answer a lot of their questions, and I wanted to be there to answer them. She was quite frustrated with that. One of the assistants poked her seven times, trying to get blood and appeared to be pretty much non-caring. She also went there for physical therapy after her surgery, and that part was very good. I think it just depends on what department you go in. That was a whole new department with the new ER that they still might have been just gearing up.

    Doctor' prescribed incorrect medication which led to additional problems. The physician on the floor dropped the ball on submitting papers for admission into the affiliated rehab center, which created a panic in locating another facility with less than 24 hours notice. Most of the nurses were not very responsive. The best interaction we had was with the case worker that was helping us find another rehab facility. I do not recommend Hillcrest.

    For pharmacies I use Walgreens and this one is 81st on Yale. There is one in every 2 miles. The staff is courteous. The prescriptions are always ready. They are prompt with their service. The wait times are very short. For price they are competitive. I don't like any of the prices on drugs these days but they are competitive.

    For health care I use St Francis primarily, in Springer Clinic. What stood out about the doctors there is that they are highly professional. Their office and staff is professional and clean. It takes a while to get an appointment sometimes if it is not an emergency but that's life I think these days. I don't think that changes, no matter where you go. It takes a while to get in for routine things but on an emergency basis I have always been accommodated and well taken care of. The availability is a 'B' because you have got the wait time but other than that.

    If you have to be in the hospital for spinal surgery, this is the place to go. They are very attentive and conscientious of patients and their families. From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out, everyone and everything was better than expected. Since spinal surgery is their specialty, they knew exactly how to help me post surgery and answered all my questions. Hope I never have to have surgery again, but if I do, I wouldn't do it anywhere else!

    The staff at the OP facility were very friendly and professional. The wait time was fairly long (45+ minutes) before I was called back to the surgical area, but I would definitely recommend this facility.

    It did not go well. I was still in a lot of pain and that happens with back surgery. Dr. Fell would not refer me for rehabilitation because he was so upset that I went to the hospital after the surgery that he performed.
