    Master Lift Foundation Repair
Scope of work: easy 1) front sidewalk lift 3/4 2) back patio 1/2 3) drill hole and fill (unfortunately foam, advise use concrete mud silt with sand) 3) level of difficulty 1 on a scale of 1 to 5 Performance of job: F 1) unfinished-front sidewalk still not done and back patio is not done as per contract. 2) the resulting work cracked the sidewalk portion that needed raising and moved the problem over to a perfectly fine part of sidewalk. Solution drill another hole and attempt to repair that part. Result: raised another section . Solution: drill another hole in that portion of concrete. The problem was made worse than the original problem. 3) Master Lift blamed it on tree roots then ,no, it was the compressor. 4) Sadly they took a check and cashed it so you got me President Steve . 5) I trusted them to do the right work while I was at work and wife home. Pretty sad. Responsiveness: F 1) Zach-the worker seemed confused and blamed tree roots and then a bad compressor as he continued to pump more foam in the ground. Help me please understand why you continued to pump more foam over the contract amount when it was known the compressor was only pumping 30# of pressure vs 130# needed? (To his admission) 2) 2xs I was told by Bridgette (Tulsa office) STEVE said he would come over to check... My wife was on point to call me and President Steve (man in charge) never showed nor called. Bridgette was responsive and repeatedly apologized for both STEVE and Zach lack of performance. She should leave as she is left to do STEVE and Zach dirty work. Pretty sad. 3) the phones went silent in terms of repeated calls to contact me to reconcile situation. STEVE actually blamed his lack of responsiveness on his Apple iPhone (said bad for two weeks..I call bs) 4) in the end, President of Master Lift more interested in playing contract card vs refunding and doing the right thing. That is a character flaw in a person. 5) Work started 6/29, today is 7/18 and still not complete. I fully expect Master Lift (President STEVE) to respond in this blog with Sorry to hear didnt want us to come phone was broke for two weeks (I bet it worked if he got a call to pick up a check). It is true I cut my losses, dont trust further damage and work quality along with very poor customer service. I have waited since 6/29 and put up with crap work on my sidewalk. I will now have my sidewalk repoured with concrete.....thank you Master Lift and enjoy the $600 check you cashed!

When they hand dug (to avoid my gas and water lines) to access the base of the first column, they realized there were no footings, so they had to figure out how to make footings for both columns. Despite this unexpected development, they were able to problem solve and finish the job quickly. The workers communicated clearly to me what was going on, notified their supervisor, brainstormed with him to solve the problem, drew pictures and explained the new plan so I could decide whether or not I wanted them to continue with the work, plus gave me an estimate for the footings, worked really hard while on site, and were really careful with my yard and home. They left my yard neat as a pin, and even offered to help me with the shrubs I had to remove, although I did that work myself. A man who owns a construction company that I use for repairs around my home told me about what the piers should cost, and the estimate from Eden's was very close to what he estimated. I've never had this type of work done before so I had no basis for comparison, but I trusted the person who recommended Eden's, their reviews were good on Angie's list, and I had a good first impression from the person who looked at our house and did the work estimate.

    Master Lift Foundation Repair
It was obvious to me that the company's rep was simply trying to sell piers. His suggestions were all over the place. He changed his opinion when he realized I knew what I was talking about on certain issues, like whether or not the porch was part of the structural foundation among others. I would not ever recommend allowing this person to determine whether or not your home needs piers while he is employed as a pier salesman. Go to an engineer not associated with a company trying to sell you piers.

The crew were all very professional and also very friendly. The work was well done. We did have a structural engineer come inspect the work as they were doing it and he had them adjust a couple things, but the end result was very satisfactory to the engineer, the Edens crew, and mostly to us as the customer. (Also, there were some bushes around our house that were not in the crew's way, but they still pulled them out for us as a favor since we didn't want them there. Nice bonus!)

Transparent and upfront about pricing, high quality work, personable crew, timely execution. The only reason for less than five stars on quality is the folks used for replacing old sidewalk in piered area splashed concrete on remaining sidewalk and driveway - they came back out to "fix" this but just tried to paint a black substance over many of the splashes, which didn't work well and looks bad.

It went very well. I scheduled with the receptionist for the foundation inspector to look at my foundation concerns on December 29th, 2016. She was professional and made sure to call days in advance to change the time of day that the inspector was coming out. He came out; he was very professional and pleasant. He look at what I thought were foundation issues in my home and told me not to be concerned about it. He communicated that the foundation was in good shape. I appreciate the fact that this company is honest and trustworthy in that they will not try to sell you a foundation service nor product if, in their professional opinion, it is not needed.

    Pier Engineers
The engineer was prompt and professional. He discussed his findings and informed me that pier engineers would be delivering the report as soon as he had it completed. They transposed it into a pier map which made a great resource for me to pass off to my foundation repair company I used.

    Camps Construction LLC
Camps were more prompt with their estimate and the estimate was about 1/3 less than the others.  They broke up all old concrete in the garage and poured new concrete there and new front sidewalks and new front porch as well as pour a new back patio. They also bid quickly and came in less than others on the 2 round rail fencing around the house.  They started and finished promptly and it looks great.  They are currently remodeling our master bath and same thing.  Prompt service, providing advice and alternatives to get the look that we want.  Have received the estimate for flooring in most of house and is also going to be less than others.  I trust our contractor, Junior, and his men have been polite and clean up their work area as they go.

    Precise Home Specialties
I was quite impressed with how fast and efficient the two workers were.  They had the drains dug, installed and hooked up in less than 2 days and had begun on the flower bed before finishing up on the morning of the 3rd day.  Jonathan was in contact with me the whole time, verifying exactly what I wanted done.  It was cold and windy, but they managed to get it looking good and clean in spite of the weather conditions.  It was money well spent!

When I bought my house I'd had several other companies come look at my garage and got vastly different opinions about what needed to be done. One said needs to be torn down, another that it just needed foundation work - but no one said the foundation was fine. I decided to start with the foundation and called Eden. There was a scheduling issue and the guy who was supposed to come out didn't/couldn't so they actually sent the owner out. He looked it all over and in the end told me that it really didn't need anything done on the foundation. I had already called a structural engineer who came out next and he agreed that the foundation was fine. Independently the engineer (who was great as well) had heard that these guys do good work.
I appreciated his honesty and I think he knew what he was talking about. If I did end up needing foundation work, these are the guys I would call.
