"After consulting 2 other physicians Dr.
Tahlequah Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
diagnosed my husbands condition on the first visit. He was very caring, very knowledgeable and made sure he had answered all our questions. His staff was efficient and made sure we saw him promptly when we had concerns. Eventually he had to refer us to a vascular surgeon who was also excellent and immediately made us his priority. Both physicians kept in contact with each other to co-ordinate my husbands care . We were very lucky to have found Dr.

"Dr. Schweger has a lovely manner and I have nothing bad to say about her. My horrified displeasure came when I got the bill -- $250 for a 10-minute (or less) procedure to remove a corn, plus a 5-minute follow-up to dab on a bit more of the solution on the corn (which she told me she would have to do in the first visit -- so pretty much a forced two-visit procedure). Yes, I should have asked what the charges would be first. I just came out of

and so wasn't used to pre-deductible sticker shock. Neither my husband nor I is working right now so I thought they might have some mercy when I called about the bill. But no. No mercy whatsoever. $250 to remove a corn. Never ever ever again.

"Dr.
Tahlequah Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
is very pleasant, professional and thorough. Although he ran a few minutes late, didn't rush his time with me and patiently described what needed to be done with my feet and answered all my questions. I immediately felt very comfortable with him. His office staff is very friendly and the office appears to be well organized. Would I see him again? You betcha! Would I recommend him to family and friends? Without hesitation!

"Everything went fine. The procedure took less than 1/2 hour with a follow-up 10 minute appointment a week later. I have had no recurrence of in-grown toe nail or nail fungus. I rate the provider as an A.

"As a new patient it took a couple of weeks to get the initial appointment. The office staff was friendly and efficient. The wait time to see Dr.
Tahlequah Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
was minimal. Three x-rays were taken, a diagnose was provided while Dr.
Tahlequah Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
showed me the x-rays and explained what the problem was. We discussed a course of treatment and I will return in one month to see what progress has been made. My out of pocket expenses were very reasonable."

"I went to Dr.
Tahlequah Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
based on other patients' past experience with him on Angie's List. The practice is housed in an old building (70s) and you can see once you are in his office that he had been there for some time. The staff are very friendly and professional. I was welcomed and told how soon the doctor will see me. After sitting for 5 minutes and handing over my paperwork, I was ushered into an exam room, where a staff member asked general questions about my ailment and took general vital measurement. A few minutes later, Dr.
Tahlequah Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
came in, welcomed me, made me feel at ease and asked questions about my issue. He proceeded to examine my feet and explained the peculiar nature of my feet as the main cause of my ailment. Things had never been explained this clearly by other podiatrists I have seen in the past. He then proceeded with his recommendations, which involved repairing my orthortics to better comform to my feet. He mentions he rarely recommend customized orthortics because they will not in most cases do a better job that an off the shelf orthortic. I felt better with my repaired orthortic. He also recommended the general construction of the shoes I should buy going forward, based on the peculiar nature of my feet. Dr.

asked me to see him if my condition does not improve. I was impressed with his knowledge, the way he conveys information, his genuine interest in my issue, his patience and his not trying to recommend the most expensive treatment for my ailment.

"I've had flat feet for years and my first pair of orthotics was made by a physical therapist. They were comfortable and effective, however I still had knee and hip pain with running so I decided to see a podiatrist. Dr.
Tahlequah Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
came highly recommended. I've been seeing her since Feb 2011 for the same pair of orthotics so let me sum up my experience with her in pros and cons.
Pros:- She's a very nice person which is why I keep going back and giving her another

.- The staff if friendly.
Cons:- It takes weeks to get an appointment. My days and times are flexible but I still can't get an appointment for 3 weeks out.- My orthotics have been sent back for adjustments 4-5 times since I recieved them. When I mention this to other doctors, they say that that is rediculous.- I mentioned last time I was in there that the plastic part of the orthotic wears through the felt covering very quickly. She said it would cost "a little extra" to have it redone. A month later I recieved a bill for $95! With my insurance, the orthotics only cost $80 so it cost me more to have new felt put on than to get new orthotics.- Despite all the adjustments, the orthotics are uncomfortable and cause heel pain. Since the last adjustment, I've had severe neck pain and I've been told by my chiropractor and 2 occupational therapists that the orthotics are most likely to blame since they are incorrectly rotating my pelvis which is then causing a pull on my neck.
Needless to say, I've given up with Dr.

and am finding a new podiatrist to start the orthotic process over. She's a nice person but I can't recommend her as a doctor.

"Dr.
Tahlequah Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
is really one of those rare doctors that has an actual, genuine curiosity in solving your problem. You could see the wheels turning in his head as he tried to get to the bottom of my pain. His approach was more

to

trying to solve a case. It wasn't just about treating the symptoms, he really wanted to nail down the root cause (and that is difficult in the case of neuropathy). And so we eliminated a lot of possibilities during my visits. In the end it looks like it is just one of those things that can't really be solved, which frustrated both of us. But, as he said, we eliminated a lot of potentially bad causes. It was almost like he was a neurologist instead of a podiatrist. He is extremely thorough.
He's also very easy to talk with, so much so it's like conversing with a friend. On one of my visits I casually mentioned a callus on a big toe and he just went ahead and shaved it off right then and there. On another visit, I mentioned the orthotics I had for the sole pain were working somewhat but I could still feel it a bit. He took them and personally added felt to the bottoms to lift them up. And he did different sizes for each of the feet.

seems to be blessed with good podiatrists, but this doctor goes above and beyond even them. I think he looks at each case as a personal challenge to conquer and solve. He's not going through the motions and running you in and out as fast as he can. I would wholeheartedly endorse Dr.
Tahlequah Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
for any problems with the leg and foot (or anything, for that matter).
