He drove Stormy to his grooming appointment.  Stormy is a 135 lb. dog and it sometimes is not easy task to take him to the groomer or to the vet's office. Kendal made it a pleasant experience for Stormy . I am so happy that he provides the services that he does for our community and surrounding areas.

They have a lovely facility. They do not have cages, rather they put the pets in their own rooms with bedding and all. It was very clean. They only have one groomer that I am aware of and they are good.

I made an appt to have my 14 year old dog groomed. I made the appt at 8AM so my dog would be started on and finished when the store opened because of her age, I had the conversation about that when I made the appt. the groomer that made the appt suggested that since I was worried about bringing an older dog in. To make a long story short they did not finish her until 12:30 they let her sit in the crate for 4 hours, when I went in and told them I wanted my dog, they were extremely rude and acted like I was being unreasonable. When I went to pay they tried to charge me 84.00 when it was suppose to be 42. I will not return.

It was a nightmare. She used old style pinch collar and even lifted my dog by the neck with this on. she uses repetition alright She repeatedly tortures and abusies the dogs she is supposed to be training. She uses methods that have been proven to be cruel and ineffective and that have been replaced with more humane positive training methods by most if not all reputable trainers. I still have bad dreams about what she put my little dog through and I believe he will never be the trusting little guy he would have been without her. He suffers from anxiety and stress pancreatitis which I believe is a direct result of being left in her care. Beware of this woman she talks a good game but she needs to go back to training school herself or retire.

My wife and I were excited to visit this facility after reading some reviews and visiting their website. We drove from the Skiatook lake area to Kiefer - not a short distance. We called ahead to see how late they were open and advised that we'd like to tour the facility and were advised that we had time. Admittedly, we took a chance because their website advised that dogs need to be neutered; however, our puppy is less than four months old and his and quot;businessand quot; has not yet dropped so that operation is, for now, impossible.
The outside of the facility looked very nice with easy access. The reception area was professionally designed and welcoming. Our first and quot;badand quot; feeling came when we asked to tour the facility. We were promptly advised that physical tours are not allowed but we were welcome to view a video of the facilities. My internal alarm started ringing as one of the receptionist popped up a video on a flat screen TV. Alarm number two began ringing as we heard a dog barking in the background and a man yelling at it to and quot;shut upand quot;.
When we advised the receptionist that our puppy was not yet neutered due to his age, she turned to a girl who had walked into the room and asked if this was ok. The girl very curtly replied that it was not - no exceptions. We thanked them and left.

My dogs were there two days. They came home with flea "Dirt" My daughter's dogs were there the same time. One came home with diarrhea, the other with a severe urinary tract infection- peeing blood. How did the staff not see this? We paid extra for the "pampered pet" treatment. They are supposed to have a et of staff! $139 to kennel and another $150 for the vet. We have not had this problem before boarding there. The staff the last weekend of July definitely was not caring for our pets.

The dog had been spayed about a week and a half before she went to boarding for a few days, and when I picked her up, they told me that she had jumped a 4ft chain link fence that separated the yards. When I got her home, I noticed a lump underneath her spay incision.
I was late as usual, the rooms were full, so one of the techs asked if I wanted to wait 20 minutes for a room, or she could just take the dog back for Dr. Applebaum (the vet I prefer) to look at really quick. and quot;Dr. Aand quot; ended up coming out to the waiting room and talked with me. He said that the internal sutures were either inflamed or that she had a hernia. He advised applying warm packs twice daily and, if the lump didn't diminish in size over the next week, that it was likely a hernia which would require surgical repair. Thankfully, it was just inflammation, and has since decreased greatly in size.

They are very expensive and pushy about teeth cleaning. Yes, I know it needs to be done but I have 4 dogs! We buy our heartworm medicine online but it requires a scrip from SAHO.We had to go through hoops to get the scrip from SAHO. We will not use any more.

I was skeptical of the collars at first, but we needed results fast and customer reviews were very positive. We decided to schedule the free demo and were dazzled by the trainer’s dog and the quick results he had with one of our dogs. They worked around our schedule and the trainer was very engaged and patient with both the dogs and with us. Both dogs have pretty different personalities, so he worked within their natural tendencies to gain compliance and understanding of their new expectations. He also set clear expectations for us as we learned to use the collars and the training to get the dogs under control; using the collars to maintain their focus but without hurting or scaring them. After the first training session the dogs were excited when they saw the collars, understanding that they meant play time and long walks, never showing any fear of the device (one of my biggest concerns.)

We are excited to graduate to the group lessons and continue refining the skills the trainer taught both the humans and the dogs in our family. I know the training seems expensive, and the idea of the collars is intimidating, but I doubt you will get such quick and effective results from another trainer or method.

I wasn't going to go back after my last experience, but I'm glad I did. The previous front desk person was not there, so I was happy about that. They took my dog right away and shortly after gave her the boosters. I was surprised at the cost ($48.00) but overall good visit.
