    I had read of this problem on the internet.  Todd was well aware of it and knew the fix, plus a few tricks he had learned dealing with this problem in the past. He also explained exactly what he was doing and why it was necessary to my husband and me.  I mentioned a small problem I had with my cooking range.  He quickly fixed it, charging me nothing additional.  This was the second time we had called Loaf Community Appliance Service.  We called today regarding a problem with our washer, and Todd, the technician, is coming to repair it.  My husband and I appreciate the quality of their work and their prices.  In addition, we discovered that close relatives use Loaf Community Appliance regularly, and they are equally satisfied.

    I was a little leery of the way he just came in and punched a couple of buttons on the dishwasher, and said it was the main control needed to be replaced, and also a very quick cursory view of the ice maker.  ( Both these items are of course expensive).
    However, he did install these parts and they do appear to be working, so I assume he was correct in his diagnosis.  
     He was polite, though he seemed hurried and even had a problem with breaking off a screw holder on the dishwasher main control.  This did not seem to be necessary for the part to fit though.

    I called and spoke with Josh telling him that my dryer had quit heating. I asked if he could come by today and take a look at it and he told me that he could be at my house in a couple of hours. He showed up on time and replaced the heating element which fixed the problem. Thanks for a job well done.

    The company calls promptly to schedule service and calls before arriving for appointment. The technician was very professional and knowledgable. He explained how long to expect for the part to arrive and followed up promptly once the part came in. He arrived during the time expected and wore a company uniform with his name on it. He left the area clean and explained why I really didn't need an additional part and what a waste of money it would be to have the part replaced. He gave me alternatives to resolve another problem with my machine and the owner of the company is very professional also. I have had more details (labor and exact parts prices) written on the receipts from other service providers.

    Billy's Major Appliance Repair
    Billy and his spouse followed up promptly with me after I requested service through my Home Warranty company.  He arrived on time each time and was wearing attire with the company name and his name.  Billy quickly found the problem; called in the information to the Home Warranty company; and gave me a detailed list of the part #'s and expenses the company would be charged on the receipt with my co-payment.  He gave me the option of regular delivery or paying more to have the parts arrive before the holiday weekend.  He informed me about oven parts the Home Warranty company would cover and gave me options and prices to replace parts the Home Warranty wouldn't pay to fix.  As soon as the parts arrived he called to make arrangement to install the parts.  He said his spouse or son may assist him with repair calls.  He didn't make a lot of trips back and forth to his vehicle for parts.  He was very  considerate of our time, professional, efficient, organized and didn't ask any personal questions.  He left the area clean and was careful not to scratch up my floor.  His business is about 1 and 1/2 hours away from my home.   I am so glad he provides service to our area. I can honestly say he is the best service provider I have had in my home in the last few years.

    We called the Gravette Service Monday around noon and told Mitch Gravette that the ice maker in our Kenmore Elite had stopped making ice. Mitch was here Tuesday morning after calling to confirm his time of arrival. Our ice maker had started working again Monday night but Mitch took it apart and ensured there weren't any obvious issues. He then installed a new water spout as ours had broken off. Mitch was very professional and appeared to be very knowledgeable. He was good to explain everything to me and was very careful not to get water on my floor. Upon my request he took off the plastic part on the ice dispenser in the door so that I could clean it well with vinegar and water. The fee charged was much less than I expected. I will definitely call Gravette for any appliance service needs I have in the future.

    Called Mr. Gravette and left message. He promtly called back within 15 minutes. I explained the problems that the fridge was having. He was polite and very knowledgable. Based on the information I provided, he accurately diagnosed the problem. With the coils cleaned, fans running and compressor working, that the system was low on freon. It obviously has a leak in the system. Since the unit is only 5 years old, he told me to contact the manufacturer to see if any sealed system/compressor warranty was still available prior to trying to service the unit, (it only had a 1 year warranty).
    Based on the information provided, the unit is not viable to repair and will need to be replaced.
    The best thing about my contact with Mr. Gravette is that he treated the entire situation as if it was his own. He even took the time to walk me through the websites required to determine the warranty information.
    He is definately the type of repair person you want to deal with. I will be contacting him for any future appliance repair needs.
