  • He is very professional. He communicates back in a timely manner, he is honest (as the season is coming to an end) he will tell us that it is not needed on the day its supposed to be mowed. We would recommend him!

  • They were wonderful people. It was an excellent experience. The people who installed the unit were very courteous and very neat. They didn't make a hug mess and didn't disrupt our lives. They were really good. They put it up in the attic. The previous one was in the house. They bolt all the supports and structures that it needed. They installed the lights up there so when they have to come and work on it, they could see. They did an excellent job. It was a good price. The service was good. So far, we've had no problems with the products. They were right out here to take care of it. We'll use them.
  • My husband did the plumbing and we did a lot of the work. We bought a lot the products ourselves. We bought the appliances, the countertops, the floors and all the lighting fixtures. It’s really kind of hard that you can call him again and get your kitchen remodelled for $35000. The cabinets he built are beautiful. We have no problems with the cabinets that he built. The other work that his employees did, we were not so happy with it. The issue there before was just the cabinets. The cabinetwork was really good because he built most of it himself. He was recommended to us by one of my children that have used him for some work. We knew we wanted him to do it. The quality of the cabinets was excellent. He is one of those people that have too many jobs going on.
  • They did a beautiful job. They were the lowest priced which is unusual for the best company, I don’t know how old the company is. But the man came out when he was supposed to and he used pipes for the post instead of wood so we won’t have wood rotting off through the years so there's no wood touching the ground. And he put the boards up one by one, he did it by hand. He used cedar which was what was wanted so we don’t have to worry about maintenance. His manner was very professional.

  • We worked with him for 5-6 months. He builds a quality homes in price ranges that are suitable for each individual. He is not a builder that just takes your money. He is honest and capable. Even though it’s been close to a decade, I still feel comfortable calling him with questions. He is overall, a good guy!

  • We are the Erin Springs Baptist Church in Lindsay, Oklahoma.  What you are about to read can be verified by contacting our church office or coming by the church.  This letter was presented to the congregation at our regular monthly business meeting, and was approved by the church for its release to the public in an effort to warn others of the potential challenges in doing business with MillCreek Carpet & Tile, and their unwillingness to stand behind their product and installation.

After much prayer and having no options left for our church to work out our problem with MillCreek, we regretfully send this LETTER OF WARNING to you.  We feel there will probably be no restitution for our church.  However, we do feel an obligation to warn others so they may avoid the same situation.

We completed our new building project about 17 months ago.  All flooring materials were purchased through MillCreek – almost 8,000 sq. ft. in all – and we were assured we were purchasing good quality, commercial grade products. The carpet was laid in April, 2012.

The challenges began immediately as we checked on the crew’s progress.  Our questioning the quality of the work and asking for correction was not received well by the crew.  Within hours of beginning the laying process, the salesman was called and told of this and other apparent problems. As the day progressed, we saw carpet being laid at a rapid pace with areas of bubbles and wrinkles visible. The crew was allowed to stay and ‘almost complete’ the job.  Raw edges, frayed seams, gapping base molding were left for weeks.

In a very short time, the seams began to ravel – one after another.  Other crews were sent to make repairs.  When we filed a complaint, it was said that the church “must not have liked the carpet choice”, and that was the only reason to complain.  When told the church likes it, it was said that one on our decorating committee who questioned the somewhat light color must have made the pulls. We then were told that it was our vacuum sweeper.  Later, their installers and inspectors all examined our sweeper, and found nothing wrong with it.

MillCreek sent their ‘independent inspector’, whom they paid, who found no problems.  We had our own inspector who felt the seams were not properly glued, and that the carpet was defective.

Several months passed…….and then more raveling, much more raveling…especially in our foyer..very visible runs.  MillCreek had Shaw Carpet, the manufacturer; send their ‘independent inspector’ whom they also paid.  By this time, we also had pulls in the carpet that are not in the seams.  Again, their inspector found no problem in manufacturing. It was determined that we were causing the damage.

We have two other large areas in the church with the same type carpet that have no runs, no pulls, no problems at all.  The same vacuum is used in all areas.

Over the past 17 months, others have told us of their problems with MillCreek installations that have had to be redone.  Apparently, our ‘job’ is too costly to correct.

  • They came and gave me a price, and measured all my windows.  Then they sent someone out to see if my old windows had lead paint on them.  They did not.  I was informed if they had contained lead paint that the installation would take a little longer, because they would have to seal off the rest of the house as they replaced the old windows.  The men that came to install the windows after they came in were very professional and efficient.  They cleaned up their mess and when they left the only way you knew they had been here was to see my new beautiful windows.  My windows have helped reduce my electric bill and my house is so much quieter than before.  If anyone is looking to replace or want to choose a window for their home I would definitely go with Thermal Windows.

  • We were having drain problems in our home. I called and they came the same day at a time we could be home from work. The staff was professional and super friendly, all the way from the person we made the appointment with to the man who came and did the repair. We now have a dependable plumber to call for future problems.
