    Be Well Acupuncture
I came in today frustrated that nothing has worked. I have a disc bulge in my neck and arthritis in my low back. I've tried injections, all sorts of medications, physical therapy, cbd and everything else people have recommended. Toni made sure I left with as little pain as possible. Having chronic is frustrating and it feels like no one cares. Toni does. Thank you, my friend.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! 1. The Fraud - I bought a Spa Package Groupon online. I said so when I booked the appointment, but despite my having already paid for the appointment via Groupon, they still required my card to be on file in case I didn’t show up (for a $25 no show fee). When I arrived I mentioned the Groupon again, and Petra herself (the owner) took it from me before any service was given. When I left, Petra told me that I was good, since they already had the Groupon. Despite all this, my card was fraudulently charged the next day for $59! Then it was fraudulently charged the day after that for another $3. But hang on. There's more.  2. The Call (More Fraud) - Assuming a mistake on their part, I called to ask them to remove the false charges. They refused!!!! They said it was my fault for not telling them I had a Groupon. I said no… they absolutely knew I had a Groupon from the moment I booked, when I checked in, when I went back, as Petra took it from me before my service, and she even referenced it again when I left. They said if I wanted my money back, I’d have to get a refund from Groupon, not them. No… I had a Groupon coupon and only paid $34 for the $59 Groupon. I don’t want $34 back from Groupon. I want the $62 of false charges back from them! (Realize that by operating this way, they got me in the door, and are attempting to cut Groupon out of their part, so Petra gets to keep the full amount collected, $62, rather than a portion of $34.)
The owner Petra was standing right next to the receptionist, coaching her what to say to me (including lying about the Groupon that she herself took from my hands), but refused to speak to me when I asked! They literally told me “Go ahead and file fraud charges if if you feel like it, but we aren’t going to refund you. Have a nice day.” Then they hung up on me. I can’t even tell you how incredibly rude and demeaning they were. I was literally shaking afterwards. 3. “Spa Massage and Facial Package” - I received less than half of what I purchased. They were very late taking me back, and I know for a fact that my 1:00 service didn’t start til 1:20. I was out the door and in my car by 2:10 (50 minutes after starting). Despite being advertised as a “package” including hour long massage, facial, and sauna session, what I received was a short, single service. It was a massage, paused to apply a facial mask, and at the end she removed the mask. That’s it. No cleansing, no moisturizing, and not even a steamer in the room. (That’s not a facial.) There was definitely no sauna either. 4. I’m Not The Only One - The atmosphere was off and I could feel their stress. Maybe that was in part due to the scuffle I witnessed while waiting for my appointment to start. Someone had booked a couples massage, but was only down for a single. The owner, Petra was rather put out at the customer, and said it was the customer’s fault for booking it wrong. They argued, and the girl insisted she booked for a couple, not a single. Petra was really rude to her and pretty much said sorry-not-sorry, you’ll have to come a different day, and shooed her out the door. She might have been an ex-employee, though that part wasn’t clear to me. I just know it was not a happy moment for anyone present.
In hind sight, this is similar to what would happen to me. They insisted it’s my fault for booking the appointment wrong though I know I didn’t, and they were incredibly demeaning, and hung up on me (similar to shooing her out the door). I guess this should have been a sign, but of course I’d already paid before witnessing this scuffle, so I don’t see what I could have done differently. 5. Rushed Service Cut Short - When I finally did go back (late) for my service, it felt like she was in a hurry, which was odd since what I literally bought was time. I thought, “why rush?” But then I didn’t even get the time I’d bought. Yet, I got charged multiple times. 6. For What It’s Worth - Her phone rang right after she started the massage. Lol. I mean, I totally get that accidents happen, it was just unfortunate how many seemed to pile up in one visit. So, basically I waited for a late appointment that was cut short, in a stressed atmosphere, and I only got half the service that was advertised. I’m generally easy to please and fully intended to keep the negative experience to myself. Only after discovering fraudulent charges on my card and then being told it was MY fault and “go ahead and file charges” have I changed my mind. Now I am stuck with the extra hassle of disputing charges through my bank, and getting a new card… not exactly the aftermath you want from 50 minutes at the spa. Realize that unless I get those charges refunded I paid $96 for that 50 minutes instead of the $34 I agreed to, and didn’t even get the services listed on the Groupon.

I found a Dr Gina to be calloused and rude. When I tried to speak my mind or ask questions she brought up her title and how she knew more about the human mind than probably anyone I've ever met. She suggested divorce in the first 20 minutes and did damage that is taking a long time to undo. She wanted to talk about divorce and co-parenting which made things extremely difficult for me. My wife and I have sent gone to a different marriage counselor and are now getting along great after one session. If you want to keep your marriage oh, I would not recommend hiring this woman. She cost twice as much as the other counselor I'm going to and was completely unprofessional.

    Active Care Chiropractic
This was my first visit to Active Care Chiropractic, and my first impression is that it is a well-oiled machine. Firstly, everyone I came in contact with was extremely personable and welcoming. As I moved from station to station (check-in, doctor's visit, x-ray, chair massage, STEM, and checkout), the transition was smooth, interactive, friendly, thorough, and efficient! Since most of my visits will probably be during my lunch time, it is important to me that the process be efficient to get me in and out in a timely manner. With that said, I don't want quality to be sacrificed to make that happen. The doctor's time with me was in no way rushed, and he asked me several times if I had any questions. In my opinion, the secret to their success is to eliminate as much unnecessary downtime as possible. My visit wasn't due to acute pain or immobility. I've just been experiencing some light pain, stiffness, and tendon popping in my lower back and finally decided to seek some chiropractic care. The tendon popping only happens occasionally; however, it just so happened to be bothering me the day of my visit. With just about every step, that tendon would pop. By the time I left, I had relief! As I said, this is only my first visit to Active Care, but based on what I experienced, I have nothing but high expectations! UPDATE: I've now been going to Active Care Chiropractic for several weeks for treatment. The entire staff is friendly and helpful, and genuinely care about their patients. Dr. Comer and Dr. Block are both very knowledgeable and attentive. They have enough staff to keep their patients moving through the different aspects of care (stretches, chair massage, adjustment, STEM, acupuncture, etc). This is a great team operating a streamlines operation, yet offering personalized care.

Very well, they were so professional and kind. Pleased that you asked questions and answered them very clearly. In one week I was feeling like a new person. So glad I searched Angie's list to find them. I have been living here for three years and finally found an answer to my problems and the why behind them!

The first day I went to Dr. Jeff, I told myself I wasnt going to pop my back the entire day until my appointment, so he could see and feel what bones were out of place.  This is not an exaggeration....I was in such pain when I showed up there, I literally had tears in my eyes. It felt like someone was torturing me.   I remember getting into my car after that first appointment and telling my husband, "Oh my gosh...I feel no pain at all!! I can sit and there is no pressure!"  It was that drastic.  I felt like pulling the car over and going for a jog just so I could see how it felt to run without pain. It's been uphill ever since!   I have been going to Dr. Jeff now about 2 years, and I cannot imagine having pain like I did before his adjustments! I seriously dont think I could handle it...because I actually know now what it feels like to be pain free! He also informed me I had a minor case of Scoliosis, and has helped me deal with that and given me proper exercises and stretches to help with that.  It is so hard to find a doctor that actually cares about fixing the problem instead of medicating it! Dr. Jeff will change your life!!

I am still using them from time and time. He is very good. His staff is also very good, I especially like Esther. I did not feel like he rushed me and he is open in terms of availability. I felt I got a lot for the money.
