AIldi's HomeworkIldi and Cesar have a work ethic rarely seen these days. They worked tirelessly, paying close attention to detail and quality. They repaired major damage to textured walls and damaged wood windowsills, and the results are flawless. They also painted several rooms, and they are beautiful. Cesar was helpful and STRONG! He worked for hours, helping my husband move materials and equipment. Ildi is a landscaping guru. She turned my plain, boring yard into a colorful, blooming delight. It's gorgeous! Ildi capped a perfect project by painting two rustic birdhouses for my backyard trees—and not just a coat of paint! She hand painted lush landscapes, trees, flowers, snowy mountains ... They are truly works of art! Anyone who hires Ildi and Cesar is in for being spoiled. You'll never hire anyone else. I'm a customer for life!- Angela D.

I was seriously impressed with the responsiveness of the company and may well use them in the future. A4-D Lawn & Landscape CoThe crew came out on a Monday, which was a holiday for most to survey. When Joe came out, he told me that his dad said that they were not only going to survey but that they would work that whole day. They did all of the prep work and began getting the heavy machinery out in the afternoon. They work through heavy wind gusts and were only stopped when a 15 minute heavy downpour came along. On that first day, they dug out 20 ft x 12 ft for the back porch extension, 12 ft x 8 ft for a slab where we are putting a generator and the area where we are putting our trash cans, and a 16 ft x 16 ft concrete slab where we are putting a storage shed. We asked them later to add another 12.5 ft x 4 ft extension of our back porch. They dug out areas where we are putting flowers and bushes and dug out a wash in our back yard and leveled it to be better prepared and not turn into a wash out from the rain like it was before we had sod laid. They continued the work the next day and a day later they laid the concrete. The work probably would have taken less than 7 working days but we decided to add a sprinkler system from a company the family bought called Land L Sprinkler and had that installed as well.- Michael O.

AWaterscape CreationsWe just bought a new house and needed to find a company to take care of our sprinkler system which had some problems. We found Shades of Green on Angie?s list and purchased a tune-up and repair service from them. John was very professional and even though we had to reschedule once (our fault), he kept in great contact with us over the phone and even called 30 minutes before they arrived. Once here, he and his crew inspected and fixed our system. We had a handful of broken things, which they fixed. We had some broken equipment over what was allowed in the tune-up, so we of course had to pay a bit extra for that, but the price was very reasonable and we were thrilled to get it all taken care of so quickly. He even programmed our system to be compliant with local water restrictions, which we really appreciated since we were totally new to the area. He also noticed a fungus on our roses and gave us some free advice on how to take care of it - saving us a ton of hassle (we just thought they were thirsty, lol). All in all, they really went above and beyond, and we are happy to have found Shades of Green. We?d recommend them highly to anybody, and will definitely be using them again!- Ben A.

AWe have 2 small rooms that are a challenge for us to decorate. My husband is disabled & we require space for his motorized wheelchair, which further limits what we can do. Bryan, the owner, & Dorothy, our designer, listened to our requests & designed 2 beautiful rooms that maximize the limited space. Once we approved the design & furniture, they immediately provided a list of carpenters so we could get started on some built-in cabinetry. We were also provided with a list of all the furnishings & websites so we can purchase what we can afford. We had never used a design team before & I didn't know what to expect, but I'm so happy we did! Now we have a direction & vision of what we can do to truly utilize those rooms. We also have control over the budget & can do what we can afford as time goes on. Bryan & Dorothy were absolutely wonderful to work with & I would definitely use them again!!

AThe crew at Garden Ponds Unlimited is amazing! We had our yearly cleanout for our Koi Pond scheduled for Feb. 8th. It was extremely cold and we thought they might cancel but as they are a hardy crew they showed up and made our pond luck absolutely amazing! We had quite a bit of string algae built up in the pond and they were able to totally power wash the pond and clean both filters to get our pond back to a clear running pond and waterfall. They gave us practical advise to prevent the build up of algae again and scheduled another appointment for next year. We have been patrons of GPU for 16 years. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough! I would highly recommend their business. The price was a little steep but to be honest they worked 2 hours on the pond, it was very dirty, and the temperatures were brutal. Good Job!

FThis is a sad day when you have to write a negative review on a business run by your friends. On 11/14/19 I contacted Matt Black, owner of K & B Landscaping, out of Yukon, Oklahoma, to get an estimate on a wooden fence and bamboo removal. Got the contact from a friend I closely worked with. My story sounds like many of the reviews I have since read on this company. Lots of promises, and no follow through. A contract was made on November 15, 2019, which stated that the chain link fence would be left in tack behind the new wood fence. The chain link fence was shared with neighbors behind and beside me. I requested the fence be left because I have small dogs and wanted the extra protection of both fences. Matt asked me if he could use the chain link fence poles to the rear of my house when putting up the wooden fence. I told him he was the expert, and I would let him decide what would be best. When the fence was done, the chain link fence on the side of my house had been completely removed. On the back fence, he removed the top rail of the chain link and slid new 8’ poles over the existing 4’poles. The new poles allow the fence to sway back and forth when the wind blows. On 2/4/20, I told Matt that the chain link itself was left flapping in the wind, not connected to anything. He said his workers should not have left it like that. He asked me to contact the two neighbors involved behind me for permission to go in their yards. I got permission from one neighbor on Feb, 29 and told Matt. On March 26 I told him that I got permission from the 2nd house behind me. The owner was also concerned about the hanging chain link and asked for Matt’s company name and phone number. I gave it to him. On April 7th, I sent Matt a text because I had not heard from him since March 3rd. He did respond and apologized, saying the delay was due to rain. He said he would come by mid-week but I never heard from him. On April 14th, I contacted him again and said it was an eyesore to the neighbors. His response was, “I’ll let you know when I can do that”. On April 25th, I sent a text and asked Matt not to forget me and the chain link but got no response. On June 13th, I sent still another text to Matt and told him that I was disappointed that he hadn’t responded. In late July I sent a text to his fiancée, my co-worker, who no longer works with me and told her the story. I never heard a word from either one of them. I sent a letter and email to K & B Landscaping on August 14, letting them know I would be writing reviews about the mess they left my fence in and have yet to hear from them.
