Lawn Treatment reviews in Jenks

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • Nutri green is terrible. We employed them for a number of years and our lawn has gotten progressively worse. Every time we called to complain, they suggested that we add services, which we did. Finally, after a year on their full regimen, (including aeration) our lawn looked the worst it has looked since we moved in.

  • I moved into my house 11 years ago when it was brand new and ever since have had continuous professional lawn care for chemical application. In the spring of 2015 I switched to Lawn America based on the glowing reviews on Angie's list. They did their first lawn application in June of 2015. I have posted a picture of my lawn which was taken yesterday. The green area close to the house consists mostly of grassy weeds. As you can see from the picture the area in the forefront of the picture is mostly dead/ brown with a few spots of green. They did 2 treatments this spring. After the first application I called the office complaining about the weeds. This was in early April and I was told the technician would be out the next day and would spot treat the weeds. I was told to call back in 2 weeks if they were not better and they would return free of charge. Unfortunately at this time I also began to notice that the "real" grass was not growing at all in spite of plenty of rain. The weeds however, grew nicely. I also began to notice large brown spots which are not greening out at all. I discontinued my service in early May. To be fair they did send a letter asking me to reach out to them and discuss the situation but at this point I sincerely believe that their treatments are causing my grass to die and I don't want them touching my yard again. As for it being caused by weather or other factors, my neighbors' yards ( who also use professionals and also do not have in ground sprinklers) look much better than mine. I am praying this doesn't cost me an arm and a leg to fix.

  • We thought it was very good but we decided to wait for the right time.  They're very easy going and open in modifying things.  I had no problem; it was kind of good.  They were very punctual.  They were very professional on how they handle themselves.

  • Sent e-mail asking for estimate.  Got back with me in just a couple of days with all services provided & with costs for my
lawn. (They were not the least pushy trying to get me to use other services they offered.)
I asked for yearly service on weed control.   They came out exactly when they said they would.  Gave lawn
complete coverage.  (They have been out twice now, Feb & March).
My neighbors lawn is covered with weeds.  I don't even have one dandelion yet!
So satisfied with their lawn service that I have decided to use them for pest control also.

  • The actual mowing and edging were great.  They mowed to my height preferences, worked quickly, dressed professionally, and always closed the gates.
The office staff (Renee) however, is very rude.  She is short on the phone, acts as if she's not responsible for mistakes, and is forgetful.  She does not write things down, or does not refer back to them after writing them down.
The mowers repeatedly missed their assigned mowing days, and did no make up work the following day(s).  We would go 2 weeks between mowing at times, with no communication from Renee.  A little extra care to make sure I was up to speed on why mowing days were missed would have saved me as a customer - but that didn't happen.
This company was great in 2011, but in 2013, the customer service has gone down significantly.  Hire them at your own risk .

  • We've used Lawn America in past years for weed control, etc., without complaint, but recently are maintaining our law ourselves. We had made arrangements for a one-time lawn aeration prior to fall fescue planting, but then saw a special $159.00 rate offered by them on Angie's, which included both aeration and seeding. We paid for it on Angie's.  They came out before we contacted them and mapped out the lawn for fescue and bermuda areas.  They apparently climbed the locked gate to get to the back, because part of it was broken.   The info they left on our door showed that the special would include only about 1/4 of our lawn. We realized that we were at fault for not reading the fine print, and so called them to make arrangements.  We asked about having the whole lawn treated and perhaps seeded (our original plan).  The man we spoke with gave me some options, and I told them we would get back with them after we discussed it.
A few days later we came home to find out that they had come and worked on the section we had paid for.  We tried to contact them three times to ask why they hadn't waited for us to arrange for the rest of the lawn, but we were not called back.  We knew they were to come back at least one more time to check the seeded area.  Yesterday they left a message on our phone indicating that they would be treating our whole lawn for weeds, etc.--something we had not ordered.  When I called the office, they said not to worry, it was just a standard message that was sent out to any customer for any visit they made.  The message we received, however, was very specific to our lawn.
In our few communications with them, we received the impression that they were not overly interested in us because we were not subscribing to year-round services, which they would bring up to us. They did great work on the area that we paid for, but had we known about the limitations of the offer and their non- and mis-communication, we would have never gone with them.  So, our ratings are mixed.

  • First call I set up an appointment for 4 weeks later.  Took the day off from work since I have dogs in the yard.  No one came.  Called and left message. No return call.Called again to ask why?  They said they were backed up due to rain all last week. So, why didn't they call to reschedule?Set up another date.Did not show again.Called, they said tech didn't get the message.Set up another date. This time I said I would lock dogs in house, could not afford to take another day off from work.Sign in yard said they had been here.  But I still don't know if they performed the service or just left the sign.

  • I still had 3 months left on my contract with a local lawn-care company for mowing, fertilizing, weed control, pruning hedges, and flower planting, but they were not doing an adequate job of weed control. I called Lawn America and they immediately came out and treated my yard. Within a week, the widespread nutgrass was gone and the crabgrass was dying and the dandelions were withering.

  • Last year we had severe weed problem in our lawn. This year I changed my Lawn care to Green Pro. My lawn is healthy and free from weeds. They did an awesome job.
