Dub Smith, Jubilee Home Inspections, was prompt and did a great job. We didn't know the guy, but we were really glad we picked him. He is the BEST inspector that we have ever used. We can't say enough about him. He was very thorough, prompted us to ask questions if we had any concerns while and after the inspection. Mr. Smith looked that house over from top to bottom. He left nothing to chance. On minor things he gave suggestions on what to do. On anything that could be a problem he told us how it could affect us and how serious it could be. We received our inspection the next day with a note that said if we had any questions to contact him. Most people in his business won't talk to you after they get your money. We really liked the format of the inspection. He had everything listed in categories with pictures and all the information you could want. No kidding. I am very picking about who I will recommend for anything. But I will give a gold star rating.

The transition and transaction went smooth. We achieved a price greater than the listing price. In one rented house, the renter became uncooperative and with Mark's guidance, the renter vacated the property for a timely close of escrow.

We were in the process of selling a home, and we needed to reroof a house.  EL Construction made did a fantastic job in a very timely manner. Due to recent storms in the area, roofers we had contacted were for a month or more. We needed to have the house reroofed because we received a excellent offer on the home but it was contingent on the reroofing.

I had heard many good things about EL Construction.  I contacted the owner Eddie Layba and he had a very competitive estimate, but more importantly he would start that day or the next.  I was glad to know that EL Construction was a licensed roofing contractor, bonded, and insured.  I discovered that they contract on very large projects, but also handle smaller projects like mine.   The company is very efficient and take pride in they're work and customer service.

They used the best material, cleaned up the yard after removing the multiple layers of old roof, put down a high quality underlayment, reroofed the house, with new drip mental, added two greatly needed wind turbine wind vents, and I noticed they also repainted all the stand pipes coming out of the roof to match the new roof.

I also appreciated that the work crew had a great attitude, very upbeat, civil, and diligent.

Wow! I was and continue to be the roof is finished and everything is looking good for selling the house and closing.

The inspection was very detailed and thorough.  I was impressed by the promptness in scheduling an inspection, the professionalism of the inspector, and the detailed inspection.  The inspector completed the report onsite and went over the inspection report with me upon completion.  I received an email with the completed inspection on the same day of the inspection.  A very professional experience.  I would use Elite Inspection Group again and would highly recommend them for a home inspection.

I had been looking for someone to do some repairs on my mother's home. And I saw some construction guys on Main Street in Durant, at a house. I pulled over and inquired about their services. They were with EL Construction, the owner Eddie Leyba, introduced himself, and his partner Jerry. Eddie said his company could do the work I needed. I gave him my number and my mother's address. Eddie Leyba bragged to me that they "were rated number one on Angie's List". I accepted this, and waited for his call. He called and asked to come by. He and 2 of his helpers met me at my mom's house. One of the helpers was Jerry. Eddie told me that he would not do the repairs to the inside of my mother's home, unless I also hired/paid him to replace my mother's roof, and level her house. He told me the extra work needed to be done, and he would not feel comfortable doing the inside unless it was all done, because it was needed. I told him that I already had some people in mind for the roof and the house leveling (which was not very necessary). Eddie insisted that they were the best, and insisted I use his company since it needed done anyway. I told him I would consider it. He left his 2 helpers with me to look at what needed to be done, and write me an estimate. Jerry went beside my mom's house and tore a piece of her siding off to look under the house! I asked why he had to rip it beyond repair, and he told me it would be replaced anyway. But I had not asked them to do siding work! Jerry told me that they would give me an estimate within 2 days. After 4 days, I heard nothing. I called Eddie Leyba's cellphone, he didn't answer so I left him a message and told him I needed something added the estimate. He didn't call back. Over the next week I called 2 more times. Speaking to his "secretary" at his business office. I asked her to have him call me. A few days later Eddie called me while I was sick in the hospital. I asked if he had an estimate for me. He told me no. He told me the work was going to be very expensive, and then he said something that I didn't thing I could believe my own ears. He said, "I frankly don't think you can afford the work, and I am not going to invest my time giving you an estimate, if you can't afford the work".. And then he actually asked me how much money I have! I told him that he had a lot of nerve asking how much money I had in savings. Then he hung up on me. That evening I left him a message demanding that he at least replace the piece of siding that his employee tore off. A few minutes later, Jerry called me acting like he didn't know what I was talking about. After I reminded Jerry that I had witnesses that saw him do it, he promised that he would fix it. And told me that he would call me the next day. Then a few minutes later Eddie Leyba called me and told me "no dice". He told me that he would repair nothing for me, basically undoing Jerry's offer that was just made. I told Mr. Leyba that I was disgusted that he would lie to me, treat me badly, and even damage my mother's property and leave it! I told him that his much bragged about Angie's List rating was about to change. THEN HE MADE A THREAT TO ME.
Eddie Leyba told me that he is good friends with all of the city inspectors, and if I wrote on Angie's List about my experience, he would call the inspectors and have my mother's house condemned! I could not believe what I was hearing. I called the head of community development in the city of Durant, Darla Smith. She told me that she, nor any of her inspectors had ever heard of him! And while we were talking, she got online to Angie's List and informed me that Eddie Leyba of EL Construction, had only one review. And she read it to me. And then she read the one review said he "did some electrical work"  for his one reviewer. Darla told me that after checking, Mr. Leyba's company IS NOT LICENSED TO DO ELECTRICAL WORK. And told me that he should be reported! PLEASE BEWARE OF EL CONSTRUCTION. THEY ARE LIARS AND FRAUDS, WHO WILL WALK AFTER CAUSING DAMAGE TO YOUR PROPERTY!

Cactus came to our home when our hot water heater went out because they were providers for our home warranty company. They called the home warranty company who partially paid our claim. In all a 50 gallon hot water tank ended up costing over $800. They conveniently offered a service plan at $9.95/mo to save us 15%... Now some 6 months later they start charging my credit card. When I called to cancel the membership I was told I'd have to pay back the 15% discount. These people will take advantage of you buyer beware!

The communication from this roofer is amazing. Not only did he return calls promptly, he called when he was on the way over. His work was perfect and he told me everything he was going to do before he did it. Roofs were repaired correctly and his prices were so low I could hardly believe my ears. I would definitely recommend him to others and will call him again when I need a roofer. Outstanding.

These guys were hard working to say the least. Showed up on time and got after it. We had an entire house worth of furniture to move across the state and these guys cared for our stuff better than we would have. When we got to our new house, they unloaded and assembled beds, cabinets, and all of my wives China cabinets. Mr. Logan was they one we spoke to through the whole process and he did great keeping in contact through our entire house selling process. Great communication and quality employees.

The service turned out very well. They have good customer service and they did a much better job the second time than they did the first time actually. I would tell a family member or a neighbor that it was a good experience, but it might take two visits to get the results that they request.

They sent a representative to my house to plan the type, size, and location of the pergola. After the drawings were drawn up they were emailed to me for approval. They company called and made an appointment for the installation and the delivery of materials and the installers were prompt for the appointed time. They worked professionally and the installation went smoothly and looks great.
