Comfort King was contracted by American Home Shield (after I paid a deductible upfront). AHS told me comfort king would contact me in 24hours. They contacted me in 52 hours. I set an appointment and asked that they provide me 30 mins to leave work and meet them at my house. They canceled first appointment after I scheduled time off. They again told me they would contact me within 30 mins of arrival on another (undecided day). At this point, one week has passed since I paid my deductible. When the called and said they would be at my house in 20 mins, I RAN OUT OF WORK and rushed home. After 1 hour and 15 mins from the call stating they would be here in 20 mins, I decided to text them back to see if they needed directions. The "faceless phantom texter" informed me that the tech had GPS and probably just stopped at a gas station. He arrived 20 mins later. The tech was friendly and informative. He told me that my filter needed to be relocated and that I was responsible for that. He gave me tips on what to do. He then told me that my coils needed to be cleaned but he couldn't do it that day. He was respectful about it so I did t get worked up about missing work, waiting and getting nothing done. He said his boss would call me the next day to set up an appointment to clean the coils and then they would look at my ductwork (apparently they couldn't do it that day). The boss didn't call the next day. He texted one week later and said he would call me on the following week to set an appointment. He texted the next week and informed me he could only do it Thursday. I told him that I had an appointment but I would take the rest of the day off (using my vacation). Today is Thursday. I called this morning to see when he thought he might be here. He didn't answer. So I text him, he immediately text back. He said that he couldn't make it today bc "years of neglecting your unit can't be fixed in an hour and a half". I told him that he should've been very clear on the time and workload if not the day of but possibly the two weeks prior. I explained to him the importance of being timely and deligent when you've taken payment already and performed no services other than an hour and a 1/2 late walk thru. I told him that we would need a clear date set in advance that was adhered to as I was having to take vacation to do so. He responded with "I'm too busy to assist you, find somebody else, AHS will be contacting you." He then text "we tried to do this last time but you didn't have the time" I then informed him that it was his tech that apparently didn't have the time, not me. I had already taken off. I have called AHS and they have not been contacted by their 3rd party contractor. I expect a bit of unprofessionalism or a level or belligerency from the occasional disgruntled employee working for a larger corporation. However, to see this lack of work ethic and integrity from a small business blows my mind. As of today, in our $125 and he has performed NO work. I will say, the tech he sent was very nice and friendly.

My home warranty company sent this service provider on Thursday to inspect my AC unit which would not keep the house under 80 degrees. The tech placed a gauge on the compressor for 30 seconds and said I needed a new one, after all it looked like a 1970 original. The tech said he would have his company contact the home warranty co. and set it up to replace the old compressor. The tech was paid a service fee and he left. Monday came and no word so I called the AC company to asked if they submitted the paperwork to my home warranty company. I was told by their office staff that  they had submitted the paperwork. So I called my home warranty co to hopefully expedite because its now 83 in the house and I have six children. Nope the paperwork has not been submitted and the AC company told the home warranty they would sent it that evening. Tuesday comes and after more promises the AC company did not fax the paperwork as needed. Wednesday and more calls from me to the home warranty company to find out nothing was submitted. Later in the day I get a call from the home warranty to tell me that the AC unit was not covered because the tech said the system had holes in it and it was a manufacturer defect!. A manufacturer defect on a 30 year old system? That was a flat out lie and let me explain why. On the prior night (Tuesday) I called the AC provider to speak with Ken as I was told he was going to fax the paperwork and that he would be in the office after 5 pm. No surprises the phone went to voice mail so I left a message telling them to get their act together. I believe because I calling them out on their lies that they then intentionally lied to the home warranty company knowing it would bombard my claim.  So today I had a local AC tech come out to inspect my AC compressor. He cleaned it, charged it and it is working good!

.The heat was very uneven throw out the house. I called his office a total of seven times. His solution was to shut off  5 vents in 3 rooms on  one side of the house and make the 2 speed fan run on high only.
After 2 other contractor looked at  the job I used one to fix  it. He moved the whole unit and resize  the duct. This took care of the
    problem. Cost $1400.

It went excellent.  They're always on time and they're very professional people.  They're knowledgeable about their product.  They were here and worked on it and they knew what they're doing whenever they're putting in.  They made sure we were comfortable while working on it.  The folks just really work with the customers to make sure that customer gets what they ordered and installed correctly.  I would do business again with them.  They have a great product and they have a reasonable price.  This folks call me twice a year which at no cost to me and if weren't for that I would probably forget.  They have a 24 hour service, anytime day and night.

We just purchased a house where the A/C was missing and the heating unit was old and illegal. We contacted Polar A/C for a quote. Johnny came out right away, made some recommendations and gave us a written quote. Once we closed on the house, they got to work right away. The work was completed in a timely manner and very professionally. We would recommend Johnny to everyone!

They gave me a bid. They explained my options. They explained the cheaper and the more expensive way to do it. I used them. They showed up exactly when they said they would. They said they would show up at 8:30 in the morning and will be done in one day; that's what exactly happened. Everything went fine. They did a great job. My house has two central units. They replaced one. In a month or two when I catch my breath financially, I will have them replace the second one. I would use them in the future.

I am really not sure if they do plumbing but I do need to check because I need some plumbing work done. They were excellent. Their price was very good. They do appliance services too. They could have fixed my microwave, but I had to go through the home warranty and they call who they want to call and send them out here.

I bought a heat pump system from them a few years ago and have had issues with it after just a couple of years. This summer when it was so hot, my system could not keep up and my home was getting hot. I understand that heat pumps can only do so much, but they came out, put some refrigerant in it, said that it had a leak, but that they didn't have the right equipment to find the leak, and that they would return later with the correct equipment to fix. Never saw them again and was charged 234.00 for about 30 minutes of work and a few pounds of freon.

The guy was great! He helped me look my a/c system over and made a couple of recomendations along with two separate visits to my home. We decided it would make sense to wait before doing any work. He refused to bill me for anything and that included two visits! I will be using him for sure!
