This was a big job and we had several estimates, 1 company called back to say it was to big for his crew.  This wasn't the cheapest estimate that we received but it was the most detailed and understandable for us the laymen to understand.  Also Vic Vickers was the most personable gentleman when he came out to do the estimate.. He made us very comfortable and reassured us that the job wasn't unattainable like one of the contractors did.

They gave us a one month estimate for completion, and they were right on the money.  There were always a few questions that we had about a certain thing they were doing and they always explained completely and patiently.  The crews who arrived were mannerly and they were very professional.  The scraping of the popcorn ceilings was the messiest of all the work that was done,  they taped and covered everything  to help with the mess. That was the hardest part of the whole project, and they tried to clean up as much as possible but it was a complete mess and just walking on the floors stirred up the dust from that stuff. This process was like moving, I had to pack up everything and move it into our garage.

We had a problem with the retexture of the ceilings, I wasn't happy with the final outcome after everything was painted and we talked with Billy. He assured us that they would take care of it and they did.  The second time it turned out great and we are very happy with the whole outcome.. The wood flooring looks amazing and the total effect of all the work is so beautiful that it left me speechless.  I love all that they did and Billy even gave us some pointers on replacing some lighting in our kitchen with LED can light replacements, they were perfect and it made a big difference.

It feels like a new house and I am grateful to Handymen R us for making me love my home finally..

We are getting ready to do the other half of the house which entails 3 bedrooms and 2 baths.  Are definitely using Handymen R Us !  Enjoyed the experience as much as could be possible for a remodel...

All dealings with Groutsmith of Oklahoma conducted before the service date were informative, accurate, courteous and responsive.? Phone and email contacts/requests were handled professionally and promptly.? The estimator arrived on time, answered all questions, and left no doubt that he and the company were professionally staffed, knowledgeable and experienced.? The work crew arrived on time, were courteous and professional.? The floors look better than they ever have since we moved in six years ago.? I doubt that the floors were ever sealed or cleaned professionally prior to this.? House is 15 years old.? Super job by all concerned.? They deserve and "A" rating.? Highly recommended.

Quality of work was fine, no complaints.  I guess we're just not used to how contractors work.  It would be great if they would show up when they say they'll show up.  That happened twice.  However, overall we got through it and are pleased with the end result.  I would recommend them to other customers.

They did very good work. Clean and precis on all work. They were all very professional and always cleaned up at the end of the day. They finished the complete job 2 days early. I will definitely use them again in the future.

I spoke with Randy several times over the phone and my husband spoke with him once.  However he did not show up for the arranged appointment.  I will be looking for someone else to do our floor.

During initial meeting it was stated that the entire job would take two, maybe three days maximum.
Day 1 - Two workers showed up at 11am.  Two more workers showed up around 3-4pm and everyone stayed till 9 pm.  A lot of dust/cleanup was left for me to do before I could go to bed.
Day 2- no one came at all, I cannot recall what the reason was.
Day 3 - The project manager arrived with one worker.  Since I had mentioned excessive damage to the baseboards in the master closet, he had brought a can of white paint and painted over the damaged areas.  While I agreed it looked better, the gouges were still there and apparent. They stated moisture had gotten into my closet from the bathroom and that my baseboards had "fallen apart" when they had tried to remove them to install flooring. I have never had any water in there at any time while I have lived here.  Also, worker could not finish up trim work as he did not have the equipment he needed to make the cuts he needed as it was at a different jobsite.
Day 4 - 4 workers showed up at approximately 6pm to finish.  They were here approximately 1.5 hours. The two damaged baseboards in my closet were covered with leftover strips of quarter round from my living room (which I had agreed to).
When workers were here they worked hard and did a good job.  I think they should have showed up earlier to work than they did.  I feel I spent a lot of time waiting for people to show up.  They cited difficulties with various projects due to recent storms in this area which had damaged one of their warehouses. Prehaps I did not fully understand the whole process but I feel that my time was not respected.  I also got the impression they were spread too thin between job sites.  The time management of this project was horrible.

They were less than professional when they started saying that my realtor (who I've known for about 7 years and near that many transactions) didn't know what she was talking about.  I've known them for five minutes and they are going to convince me that she's wrong?  I tried to explain that perhaps my house was not the average house they were talking bout (listing price of $300,000), but they were not listening and just plain not helpful. They also had a surprisingly poor selection of carpet.  I was only shown about 3 samples that would have run $3000 for 1800sf.  They made it seem like I was just difficult to satisfy.
When I left their building, I called my realtor and she recommended another business, Country Carpet in Nicoma Park.  I went directly there and they found a much higher quality and eye-catching product and had it installed in 2 days.  The price ended up saving me around $600 from Brim's price.

First off their installer showed up a week late. I had to call them after waiting several hours twice to see if they were going to show up. Caused lost time at work each time. The final day they were coming to install their carpet gluer malfunctioned and they were at my house until 1 am that night trying to finish up the work. The carpet smelled burnt for a month after it was installed. When I spoke to my sales guy about this experience he basically said "all sales are final" and did nothing to resolve this. I would never use these people again. If you have to pay more to go elsewhere do it.

I originally found Brian randomly through an internet search, and he is the best that I have come across. My husband and I have been going through a painful house remodel for over 2 years...and if I would have found him sooner, I would have had him do ALL of the work in my house and had it DONE. He is thorough, detailed, and fair. He has great ideas and executes them well. I have worked with many contractors through my remodel, and he is the *only* one that I would hire again. His work is expert, and it is obvious in the finished results. He and his crew are truely a diamond in the rough!!

The work was done in a timely manner. This was a small job and I paid the minimum fee. ($75.00) I was very please with the work performed.
