Torrential rains in the Oklahoma City area over the past few days caused my septic tank to fill up, and/or caused my leach fields not to work properly.  The problem started on Sunday, so on Monday I called Foster Septic.  The nice lady who answered the phone said lots of people were having the same problem.  She'd put me in as an emergency, but everybody else on the list was also an emergency.  It would be Thursday morning before she could guarantee someone would be out to fix the problem, but if they could come sooner, they would.  She told me it would cost $250.
She called me Wednesday morning to find out if they could come then.  YES!
Two young men and a big truck showed up at my house a couple of hours later.  One did all the grunt work and the other located the lid to the septic tank, and ran the pump on the truck.  The one running the truck said he was fifth (or sixth?) generation of the family that owns the company and the nice lady I spoke to earlier was his mother.  He didn't mind my watching everything they were doing, and he explained every step of the process.  He told me to pour a cup of baker's yeast down the toilet once a month.  Because my septic tank lid was a couple of feet below ground, he suggest I think about having risers installed to elevate the opening so that the next time I get the tank cleaned out, instead of digging up my yard, they could just get to it from the surface. That would cost about $200 installed, but he didn't propose doing it right then, and didn't even have the parts to do it, so he definitely wasn't giving me a hard sell.  He said I should get my tank pumped out every three years or so, that the leach field will normally have a life of 25-30 years, but will last longer if we keep the tank cleaned out regularly.
I had been concerned that they would have to rut up my yard with the big truck, but they didn't.  They had really long hoses that they ran from the truck to the septic tank.  From the time they got there until they left was maybe an hour, maybe not quite that long.  The hole they had to dig to gain access to the septic tank was maybe 2' by 2', which I thought was not to bad at all.
I was just pleased with the whole process.  They were quick and clean, the price was reasonable, and my toilets now work great.

I had the yard marked with white paint and they installed it at least a foot from it. They dug up my sprinkler line ( that happens) but then instead of leaving it uncovered, they back filled it. I was also left with the impression that they could dump the dirt a hundred or so feet away in a vacant lot (had builder OK), but when asked they wanted additional dollars. The folks on the phone need to stipulate that they will only pile the dirt on your yard if you don't want it hauled away. The owner was understanding and he knocked off a little for back filling the lines. My fun was digging and finding the sprinkler lines then repairing. I think I might have been fine if they had been kind enough not to cover them back up. Overall they did a good job, seems level but I probably won't use them again.

He came out to pre-survey the site. I wanted the concrete shelter to be installed partially into a hillside. I asked for references for hillside installation and possible painting options. Larry provide both references and I visited them. About two weeks later, a backhole/bulldozer came to carve out the hole into the hillside and prepared the pad. The 28,000 pound shelter was brought in and anchored. Backfill around the shelter was completed. Some minor tree and pole removal was done. Their vehicle equipment was new. Mr Bean and the workers worked professionally and efficiently. I am very satisfied with the installation of the storm shelter. Total cost included the excavation, pad preparation, shelter, installation, anchoring, minor land work and tax.

Purchased a house with work performed by House Doctors.  The work came
with a warranty.  Both my husband and I have been trying to contact
House Doctors to schedule an appointment to come look at the shifting
and settling that has taken place; it is clear the beams need to be
readjusted.  The company uses an answering service which serves as a
screen for callers.  I have been calling and leaving messages for
someone from the company to call me back.  I have received one return
phone call, at which point, Ray said, "let me look at my book and get
back to you..."  That was over a week ago.  I have called everyday this
week and have requested with the call service that someone please return
my phone call.  We would simply like someone from the company to
schedule an appointment, come out to look at their work, and to honor
their warranty.  Apparently, this is too much to ask.  This company is
run by far the most unprofessional company of which I have had the
complete displeasure of attempting to do business.

Perfect job!  Showed up on time and did a great job.  Everything went smoothly and they were in/out of here in 3 hours.  We are VERY pleased with our experience and would recommend them to anyone.

This company was extremely professional.  The appointment was scheduled quite a way out, due to heavy call volume.  However, the company sent reminders twice and called me a couple days before just to make sure I was still available.  After looking at the problem and discussing options with me, he was incredibly honest about what I should do (which would mean no income for him).  I cannot begin to express how much I appreciate this honesty and integrity from a company.

Every employee with this company was very professional. Greg, the owner, was on time to give the estimate & did a very thorough report. Answered all of our questions very politely. Returned phone call promptly. The work crew was on time & very professional. Did all work to our satisfaction. They were concerned that we were happy with the work. They even went the extra mile & tightened up some loose boards on our stairway. Explained every step of the work that they were doing.Cleaned up at the end of each day--it took 4 days--and did a complete cleanup at the end. I have dealt with other foundation companies before and I was very impressed with this company. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing foundation work, esp. crawlspace work on old homes. I have a very small crawlspace area & this crew had no problems getting in there & getting the work done. They were very hard working.

He filled in the pool, packed it down really good.  He made me a useable back yard that leveled it out and looks good.
