The blockage took place on a Saturday evening, as such things always seem to do. The lines were cleared and all went well. I did assist.

I liked that I did not have to be there when they came out. I got there when they were almost done and everything looked great. Code enforcement was called to come out and check it. The yard was left in great shape.

    Blackburn Plumbing LLC
Blackburn attempted to clean a sewer line using a jet system that cleans lines using water under high pressure. The process ended abruptly when the jet system blew a hose and could no longer hold the water under pressure. By then the plumber had determined that the blockage was on the city's side of the pipe. He was kind enough to call the city on my behalf get them started on the problem. I was charged for a service call. I am assuming it is their minimum charge to show up. Fair enough. The two guys that came were professional and very polite. I will use this company again as needed.

    Luckinbill Inc. Mechanical Contractors
They came out, ran a snake and camera down the line. Told me it was a good line, clear to the main. Said the Main line was approximately 10-12 feet deep and a new main would run several thousand dollars. After digging up the line to install new piping, for a new location, I tried to run water through the line and it was clogged, not open to the main. I called the guy who did the work and he returned for no charge. Together, we discovered that when the gas company installed a new line, they broke through the sewer line and sealed it off by placing wet cement in a bag and stuffing it in the end of the broken pipe. This would not have posed a problem if I would have known about it. I rented a track-hoe to dig the ditch for the new piping and didn't dig up the portion in the alley where the break in the line was because I was told it was good to the main. I then had to rent another tractor to finish digging up the bad line and buy more pipe to replace the bad portion. While digging up the remainder of the pipe, I found that the line had been cut into buy yet another utility with a trencher during installation of an underground cable right next to the main line. The main line is only 3 feet below the surface. The unknown delayed project completion nearly 3-weeks and increased the cost about $500. All-in-all, I'm not quite sure what I paid Luckinbill for.

    Roto Rooter
I contacted them weeks ago to get an estimate for sewer repair. They returned my call several weeks later to ask what I needed. They took my information & told me they would get back to me with an estimate. After waiting several more weeks to hear from them, I called Donnie & left a message asking if they had my estimate or if they weren’t interested in doing the job. He never even had the courtesy to return my call. If their work is anything like their customer service...BEWARE!!!

    Clear Creek Plumbing & Gas
On October 15, 2014 I hired Clear Creek Plumbing and Gas to replace the hot water tank in my garage. This gas water heater sits on a 36" platform in a closet.  Since there are water stains from a previous leak, which has been repaired, I was concerned about the floor.  I expressed my concerns on this and the plumber inspected the floor and pronounced it good.  He said I simply needed to use a fan to dry it out, which I did.    On February 3, 2015, I noticed that the water heater is leaning to one side.  I have found out that the floor is not strong enough to hold the water heater.   The tank is in danger of falling through the floor, and, as it is a gas heater, this could cause an explosion, but, at the very least it would cause a fire.    I immediately called the owner of Clear Creek plumbing to review the situation.  He came and told me it was not their problem.   He said the floor was fine when they installed the heater.  He refused to even consider helping with the situation.   Upon close inspection, there are clearly visible places where the floor has decayed.  Two months is not long enough for this type of damage to have taken place.  They should have noticed this and informed me so I could have taken care of the problem then. I feel that they put my home and my very life in jeopardy with their negligence.   I asked him to uninstall the heater and replace it when I get the floor repaired, at no charge, since this whole situation was caused by his employee's negligence, but he said no.   I was forced to hire another plumber to remove the water heater while a carpenter repaired the floor.  Plumber then reinstalled water heater on a safe floor.  I strongly recommend you do not do business with this company.

We loved the service and thought the pricing fair for our first two jobs which consisted of replacing a leaking garbage disposal and faucets and repairing tub fixtures. However the last job was a one man job and we were charged for two men working the job. There was no way more than one man could have worked on the job since it was in a smaller shower stall. The work is always excellent however my husband has called twice to discuss the matter with the owner and he will not return the calls. Since my husband was in construction, he is very aware of what jobs consist of and charges. He would have done the work himself except he broke his hip and the work needed to be done for his safety. We found the work to be done well and service calls addressed quickly, but we wanted an explanation about charges which were twice the normal rate. My husband called a third or fourth time and finally spoke to the owner. He removed the $40 for wall anchors but refused to adjust the bill for a one person cost because both men were supposedly on a pervious job together therefore came to our house together. Again, the jobs were one man jobs. Also, upon looking at the bill, my husband noticed a considerable markup on drill bits. This company does excellent work but in my opinion, overcharges.
