    KEYLON'S BOOT & SHOE REPAIR
When I brought my shoes in, they had me try them on with and without the foot pad inserts, to make sure that when they got finished putting them in, they would fit my feet perfectly.

    KEYLON SHOE REPAIR
Small family owned business. These guys know what they are doing. If they say they can do it, it will be done right the first time. Excellent quality! The best customer satisfaction.

    OVERLAND PARK SHOE REPAIR
Very personable owner and craftsman, I believe he said his name was Henry. He says, "I do what I have to so I can do what I want to." Not sure what that is, but I'd guess an artist or musician of some kind. Anyway, he is great with leatherwork and with people, he had examples in his shop and I overheard him interacting with other customers. So if this is what he "has" to do, at least he is very skilled and very pleasant about it! Who knows whether he is a great artist or musician, but he is great at this craft! I plan to bring him all my leather work.

    KEYLON'S BOOT & SHOE REPAIR
Overall it was a great experience. I thought the price was a little steep for one pair of shoes, but I wanted them done. He did a fine job in one day. I brought in two pair; he said one pair didn't need new soles. He kept that pair and polished them up for me anyway. Note that the shop takes cash or check only; no credit cards, and you have to pay in advance.

    KEYLON'S BOOT & SHOE REPAIR
Nice old-fashioned shoe repair shop; didn't try to up sell me on heels, even though I asked - told me they didn't needed replaced yet. Good quality, and done when promised. Only thing is I wish they took credit cards.

    KEYLON'S BOOT & SHOE REPAIR
Very nice and neat work. Cost was more than I expected but my fault for not asking; granted, I didn't shop around and probably would have had it done for convenience since I bothered to go there.

    NUTTER'S SHOE REPAIR & DYEING
When I picked my heels up the tag was pinned through the back of the leather with a safety pin on each pair, the tips were put on but the little piece that goes along the sole and down the inside of the heel was not glued back to the heel and catches on everything, the toe that was supposed to be glued peeled apart the very next time that I wore them and they were not cleaned, instead it appeared that polish had just been wiped over them. I ended up buying Shoe Goo and gluing them myself and then getting the stuff to clean the polish off and then clean seal them myself.

    TROY'S BOOT & SHOE REPAIR
He has given me story after story about how he gave them to someone to work on, and hasn't been able to get them back... FOR A YEAR. He was paid $60.00 in advance, and has not returned the money, or the items. The attache case was irreplaceable. SCAMMER! Every time you manage to contact him, he has some kind of story to stall you for another week, then disappears/doesn't answer the phone/doesn't have the items. This has gone on and on. I filed a police report several weeks ago, and nothing has been done.

I called the shoe repair store to ask if they could put Vibram soles on Christian Louboutin high-heels.  I was told yes.  I asked how much to have this service done and was told $30.00 and that they had the Vibram in stock.  He said it would take about a week before the shoes would be done.  I drove to the store and walked in and proceeded to ask if this guy was the one I talked to about putting the Vibram on the bottom of the high-heels.  He responded yes.  He then told me it would be $35.00.  I told him that he told me $30.00 over the phone.  He said that with the price of the shoes, what's $35.00.  I told him that it didn't matter what the price of the shoes were and that's not the way you do business, and that I could take my business elsewhere.  I told him that I didn't want to get off on the wrong foot, but that's not the way business should be done.  He got up from his stool and went to the entrance of the back and then came back and told me that he didn't have the Vibram after all.  He then told me that it would take at least 3 to 4 weeks just to get it in.  I told him that I'd be better off going elsewhere and then I left. I will never go back.

    TROY'S BOOT & SHOE REPAIR
He explained the job would be done in a week.  It took significantly longer as he made tons of empty promises.  I do not recommend this company to anyone.  This experience was nothing but a hassle.
