    The guys all did a great job , They worked hard in a difficult situation . We were not taking everything, so a few items were left behind accidentally, but within a couple of days they picked up those items and moved to new house . Will definitely hire them again . Thanks again !

    The movers did their job professionally, were polite, didn't break anything, and got the job done. I did have a problem with the price I was charged compared to the price I was quoted. That was somewhat resolved by the owner. Beware of what you are quoted and what you are charged--additional fees and charges. I've moved about 20 times, and this was the first time this ever happened to me. It was a 6 mile move. Besides the small overcharge, the job was performed well and the owner did address my overcharge concern.

    Three man crew did a great job protecting and moving our household appliances and furniture across town to our new home. They protected the doorways where items were moved through and removed doors were clearance was a problem. It was a hot and humid day but they stayed hydrated and wasted no time during the move. Very professional and polite. I have recommended them on the Nextdoor app on several occasions already. We would hire them again.

    I have used movers a lot over the years and First Choice is by far the best moving company I have ever used. They are a family-oriented business and they are so nice and careful and bend over backwards to provide good service. I highly recommend them to my friends. Recently, I needed about 2 hours of moving services, but needed part of the move done first, and they helped me out and sent someone out to take care of the first part of the move the very next day and then sent them back for the rest of the move later. Top, top quality company and people! Couldn't trust these people more!

    We were very pleased with the service given to us by Billy and his crew. They were courteous and quick while taking great care with our belongings. This wasn't an easy move. While we didn't go very far, we had a large fridge and a heavy safe that had to go in the basement. They knew what they were doing and how to get the difficult things done properly.

    I need to separate these comments between Office/Communication, Actual Movers, and Costs... Office: horrible. Grade = F. The rep who took my call asked all the right questions (size of home now (1200 sq ft duplex), # of bedrooms (2 plus 1 in garage storage), anything heavy (piano, china hutch, treadmill), etc... She took down my phone number wrong (which I caught in the confirmation email), so I emailed Andrew with the correct one and he indicated he'd get it changed - didn't happen (the actual movers tried calling the wrong number and never got through). She asked if I'd like some complimentary wardrobes the day of the move (to be returned later that day) and I said yes. She never explained the additional cost of consumables (shrink wrap) or the extra charge for moving a piano ($180). When the actual movers showed up they told me they thought they were moving a small apartment (and brought too small of a truck, therefore had to make two trips, which cost extra in time and travel). They didn't know about the piano, or other heavy items. They did not bring the six requested complimentary wardrobes. They didn't have my corrected phone number. Complete lack of communication, either to me or their own movers. I emailed Andrew my concerns the day of the move and he never replied, or offered a resolution. Movers: fantastic. Grade = A. The two guys showed up exactly in the middle of the time range, but (not their fault) had too small of a truck. They said they tried calling, but still had the old number (Andrew never updated them). They explained the process and brought plenty of shrink wrap (as it was forecast to rain all day) - they covered everything, either with blankets or wrap. Great attention to care, impressed. They moved the bulky heavy items very slowing and with great intention, they hit no walls and damaged none of my furniture (even the piano, which I got charged extra for, surprise) - awesome job. They explained they weren't told to bring any wardrobes I had requested, but they still carefully wrapped my hanging clothes in blankets and shrink wrap, extremely thoughtful of them. They indicated that since they thought it was to be an apartment move and brought the small truck they needed to make two trips. And they were told I had to be charged for the entire time, less their lunch break (though they displayed nice empathy at having to charge me). These guys were great and impressive in the attention they gave the move. Very professional. Costs: Grade = C. If I had been told upfront the extra costs for consumables, moving a piano, and the two trips (time), no problem. But the "sticker shock" of the $990 total, when I was told the estimate would be 6 hours (or about ($700), was overwhelming. I didn't leave the movers a tip, and felt bad about that. However, I corrected this the next day, as I had one of their phone numbers and found out where they were working and drove them over a good size tip each. It wasn't their fault, after all. I feel I was overcharged by $200-$250 dollars for the Offices' miscommunication, to me and the movers. Very unprofessional. And even more surprised by their lack of reply to my email the day of the move and offer of any kind of resolution. I will not recommend them to anyone, quite the opposite actually.

    This was the worst experience imaginable. I cannot recommend against using this company enough. We used them four years ago and had a decent experience, so we decided to use them again without shopping around. Bill communicated frequently leading up to the move, but that's about all that went well. They were supposed to show up at 8:00 am for our move, since we were closing on our current house at 1:00 pm. Bill texted early that morning to say that they would be an hour late because they worked a late move the night before. I think this is lie #1 since who moves on a Sunday? Regardless, they still weren't at the house at 9:15, so we called to find out that it would be closer to 10:00 since their car broke down. This is lie #2 since they showed up in three separate cars. At 10:15, they finally showed up. Bill said they picked up an extra guy to get the job done by 12:30 at the latest. The guys that showed up were some of the roughest looking people I've ever seen. Most of them looked like drug addicts. In fact, two of the guys told me they had never moved anything before and Bill had picked them up that morning. At 12:30 we had to leave for our closing, and the crew was nowhere near finished. They said they were getting close, but that was lie #3. When we got back from our closing at 2:30 they were still loading things up. In fact, we went to our next closing shortly thereafter, and they didn't finish until 4:00. They also left all of the heavy items and didn't even bother to tell us. Also, last time we moved it only took three hours to load and three hours to unload. This was when we started to realize this was a complete scam. We had only added a couple pieces of furniture, and Bill even said it would only take 3.5 hours at most when he arrived. When we got to the new house for the crew to unload, we told Bill we were very unhappy. He told us we would come to a mutually agreed upon price, and he would personally meet us at the old house the next day to get the remaining items. It was hot the day of the move, but the crew sat around the majority of the day. They also damaged multiple items beyond repair and scratched the floors in every room. At 10:30 pm, Bill told me he wanted to let the crew go and bring a fresh one in the morning to limit mistakes. I was skeptical, but he said they would unload everything to the detached garage (washer, dryer, couches, other heavy items) and bring them in the next day. We told him what we thought was fair pricing, and he said he couldn't do that, which was lie #4. Ready for the day to end, I agreed to pay his price. He then told me he couldn't take a check, just cash, even after saying he would accept a check. I could only get $500 from the ATM, so he accepted the balance by check. The next morning at 9:00 rolled around, and Bill wasn't at the new house like he had agreed to (lie #5). We called and texted multiple times without any response. I tried to cancel the check, but he had cashed it when the bank opened at 9:00 sharp. He also never sent another crew to bring the rest of the items into the house (lie #6). I had to get multiple people to come over to move the balance of the items. This just added to the lies. I cannot tell you how furious I was. He lied to us and cheated us. This was the worst experience I've had with a company in my entire life. Bill is the worst form of person. He's a snake, folks. Do everything you can to stay away from him and B&L Relocation.
