Boarding reviews in Broken Arrow

  • The dog did very well there. We left her happy and healthy (although not too happy about us leaving her there) and we picked her up happy and healthy. So, all went very well. You can't ask for more than that.

  • The training was fabulous.  I really enjoyed the classes, started on time and was focused on helping the owner learn how to train the dog. I actually enjoyed the classes so much that I took both the puppy kindergarten I and II courses.

The boarding experience was also very good.  My dog was groomed and ready for me when I arrived to pick him up.  The staff are excellent!

  • I have been taking my 5 dogs to The Lodge in Broken Arrow for the last two years. Most recently, my 3 largest have been going almost daily due to work being done in our house. They love going it seems. The dogs are always worn out from playing with the other dogs. I've recommended them to many friends who have used them and have liked it as well. My Cairn has gotten grooming there as well which has been good and the others get their nails trimmed. I've never had any problems and will continue to use them. The prices are great for the service.

  • The front office staff are very friendly, courteous and professional.  We were brought into a room within 10 minutes of our appointment time.  The staff obviously love animals.  I am also planning on boarding my animals there and was given a tour of the boarding facilities while waiting for the Dr. to come see our dog.
The evaluation was very professional and extremely thorough.  It was the most thorough exam I have ever seen any of our animals receive.

  • I'm not sure of the daily price or the date since it was so long ago.  The owner was fanatastic with my dog.  When I came to pick up my dog, I was sitting at the table with the owner.  Cody ran straight to her.  She cares for the pets like they were her own.  A relative takes care of my dog now; but if I had to go to a kennel, it would be Shangri-La.

  • Very good. Have used them twice. Once while on vacation and again when having new AC/furnace system installed. They are very particular about having current vaccination records and up-to-date kennel cough. Bailey was well taken care of. If using them, make sure you make reservations well in advance during the spring/summer.

  • We  chose  Camp Bow Wow because they state they will play with the dogs and interact with them.  They also advertise you can watch your dogs on internet cams.  We were unable to view any of the web cams on either our home computer, tablet, iphone or android phone.  When we got the dogs back they were visibly thinner.  I know dogs may not eat as much when boarded compared to at home, but we have boarded our dogs multiple times over the last several years and they have never come home thinner.  We also left the dog's home beds to help them feel more comfortable and when we got them back one had quite a bit of dog feces on it.  This leads me to believe that they weren't taken out enough to be able to poop or pee outside and ended up going in their pen.  Our dogs are house trained and do not do this at home.  We left several messages at Camp Bow Wow and they were never returned.  I would not recommend anyone boarding their dog(s) at Camp Bow Wow and will never board my dogs there again.

  • Andrea's Furry Angels is a wonderfu pet care person who come to our home anytime we say we're needing her because we're gonna be gone for any length of time to check in on our cats and make sure that they are being well taken care of and we know she comes everyday like we ask and does what we ask as far as feeding or any medication requirements that needs to be done. She's available even on holidays and she doesn't charge extra for that. She is dependabe, reliable and responsible.

  • I have taken my dogs to Catoosa Small Animal Hospital ever since moving into the area 4 years ago. The facility is modern, attractive, and sparkling clean. Their staff is unfailingly cheerful and professional, and noticeably care about their patients. The fact that Dr. Steve Weir owns Shelties (which is the breed we have) is a definite plus; however, all of the vets on staff are extremely knowlegeable and competent. I won't take "my boys" anywhere else! :)

  • They are great people, I used to take my dogs there when I was a kid, now I take my dog there. The first time I walked in the lady remembered me from 10+ years ago. They really care about the animals and treat them well. They are also very flexible, which is especially nice for me because I go on/cancel trips frequently and spontaneously. They also always charge me exactly what I except to pay, which is more than I can say from some other kennels I used out of state. Also, they do not nickle and dime like many of the chain kennels do.
