Nurse Practitioner reviews in Ardmore

The Nurse, Jeff Munholland, left everything to his medical assistant (!) and never really spoke with us. Mind you, a medical assistant has no real medical training, just office medical- very minor things. I am not putting the medical assistants down, I was one for 10 years. I just do not think a MA should be in charge of a patient with C Diff. I don't know what ever got to the NP, Munholland, or anything. I finally got my husband to a doctor, Dr. Wooten, who was great. Still had problems because now Munholland is supposedly my husbands primary, just because he went to him first. Dr. Wooten knew right away he needed to be in the hospital. Under Mr. Munholland, at Loughridge's office, my husband was made to wait through the weekend for medicine because Munholland was having a 'procedure' done and did not leave anyone in charge of his patients(?!). So the C Diff got much worse over the weekend. Of course they tried to tell me it was the lab's fault because the results were not in- and that's why he could not treat him until Monday- that is until I walked to the lab , got the results, walked them to the office and asked for some help. The mA actually said, "You could be arrested for that"."  Really? For showing ID and picking up or own records? No, they were mad that I found out the delay was because their nurse was out of the office. I am livid. Then , after not telling us he was contagious, not giving him medication, and lying to us, the nurse, Jeff Munholland, gave him a very short dose of flagyl. My husband was still sick when he ran out so I asked for his records and told them I was going somewhere else. Munholland refused to give me the record until he came in for yet another office charge. Munholland sent him for a C Diff test. An hour later he called and said he was negative and he could have his records. Funny- he was still sick. The new DR. sent hum for a test and he was still positive. I am lodging complaints with the licensing board. He risked all of the house and public getting sick by not telling us it was contagious and to what extent. He risked his health by giving half-a--ed care and then a false negative just to release him as if he had done his job. The DR put him on Vancomycin and got rid of the C Diff. It came back 2 weeks later and the DR sent him to a specialist to be put in the hospital. NO- wait- its not over. Munholland's office waited 3n days to send the referral, sending him into the weekend- without medication or a doctor. AND he refused to treat him in the interim. Now he is extremely ill. I am lodging complaints everywhere I can so no one else is subjected to the horrible healthcare my husband has been. We are currently still in the weekend without a doctor, waiting due to them not sending the referral. My husband now has burning pain in his lower left pelvic area, can't eat due to horrid indigestion, and has been throwing up wit a terrible lung infection. I am livid!
