    Dr. Madaline Cortez
The office is very nice, and Dr. Madeline Cortez is very professional. They office staff calls you to remind you of upcoming appointments, they also text you about the prescription and a overview of what was done during the visit.

    Pickett, Dr. Greg
They make a point of letting you sleep through the night. They come and check on you but let you get your rest. The surgery went excellent. I have nothing but praise for his work.

    Fast, Dr.
He actually sits and listens and tries to explain everything that's going on. You don't get that with just any doctor. He's worked to get me back on track.

    Glenn Stow MD
I've been a patient since March 2010 and have enjoyed seeing Dr. Stow everytime. He confirmed my pregnancy and referred me to an OB. He gave me information and congratulations. He has seen me for illnesses and treated them effectively. He is almost always available if I need to be seen that same day. He is the only doctor in his clinic, so he runs a little late, but no more than fifteen minutes. His bedside manner is amazing and he listens to me and acts accordingly. The only drawback is he doesn't see anyone as a patient if they are younger than fourteen. I will continue to be his patient up until the time I move.

    Short, Dr. Margo R.
About a year ago I woke up with pain in my leg, and weakness in the muscle supporting my knee. Dr short was able to ascertain that my primary cause was a tear in my cartilage, she ordered an MRI and determined that surgery might be an option and referred me to an Orthopedic surgeon for further assessment. She has also managed to get my high blood pressure and swelling under control

    Forrestal, Dr. James E
Dr. Forrestal is my son's pediatrician. His office staff is very kind and caring, although a little swamped. He has a huge, thriving practice, in my opinion because he is such a great doctor. This does mean some waiting though. The ladies up front always make my son comfortable taking his vitals, talking him through what they're doing in a kid-friendly way (for example, the blood pressure cuff is measuring his big superhero muscles). When they do have to give him shots, they're honest and tell him it will hurt a little for just a minute, which I appreciate. No point in telling them it won't hurt when it will. And any shot is accompanied by a lollipop at the end, with a big fuss made over how brave he is and what a great job he did. They have separate waiting rooms for sick and well visits, with TVs in each. The exam rooms are nice and clean and stocked with books for the little ones. It does help to bring along a few special toys, though. My 3 1/2 year old is notoriously impatient and has been known to have meltdowns in the middle of the waiting room or in the exam room while waiting. While they do have a sign posted that no food or drinks are allowed in the office, most patients have snacks and sippy cups or bottles. I think the staff realizes that hungry, thirsty, tired children sometimes need some snacks and a drink to avert tantrums. I've found in my 3 1/2 years of taking my son in that the best time to make your appointment to avoid the long wait times is either first thing in the morning (around 8:00-8:30) or immediately after lunch (1:00-1:30). Dr. Forrestal has a wonderful bedside manner. He is always smiling and making jokes, always having animated conversations with my son (even before he could talk) and very positive in his interactions. Considering how many patients he sees, I'm always amazed by the fact that he remembers details of our lives and works those into the conversation. He really takes the time to connect with his patients. Perhaps that is why the wait times start to get a bit longer as the day goes on, because he doesn't rush through his appointments. There have been several different appointments where he'll read a few pages of a book that my son was reading when he came in or talk to him about his toys, or when my son started talking to him about fishing and wildlife he's seen, Dr. Forrestal pulled out his iPhone and showed my son a video of some wild hogs on his farm. I've never minded waiting when we have to, because of the genuine care he always shows for my son. Overall, I'd have to say that he is the greatest pediatrician and has a wonderful, caring staff. If waiting a couple hours just isn't feasible for you, take my suggestion about making those appointments and you won't be disappointed.
