    Roofing & Company LLC
It went much better than we could have ever ask it to. MUCH better! We had a non leaking roof concern that our insurance company found during a random inspection. They gave us less than two weeks to repair it before our policy would be cancelled. The crew with Roofing and Company replaced a roof near our property a month prior to us getting our notice. Observing (and remembering) their work on that roof was the only reference needed for us. Very detailed. No apparent short cuts. No mess left behind. Excellent color match on 12+ year old shingles. After acquiring the name of Roofing and Company, I called them. Told Barb our situation. The next day, two employees inspected our roof to see what needed done to repair it. Cracked truss. That was on a Friday. The following Wednesday, the same crew that replaced the neighboring roof, repaired our truss. It is now the strongest truss in our roof. They also replaced the plywood, two vents, tar paper and shingles. The roof looks amazing. No sag. The new shingles match. They even painted the vents to match the other vents on our roof. There is nothing to critique. It is rare that expectations even get met. Let alone exceeded. We were over a barrel and R & C knew it. Yet even the price was lower than we expected. First Class operation. In every way. Many Thanks!

Service from start to finish was wonderful. Chad was great to work with. He's very honest with the work that needs to be performed and provided a great price. He and his crew exceeded my expectations from the service to the finished product. Would most certainly hire again as needs arise.

He was very thorough cleaning everything justice we had asked. He did not blow garbage from the gutters into the flowerbeds but cleaned everything up and took it with him so as not to leave a mess anywhere. My windows are impressing reall my windows very clean with no streaks or drips. We will use him again.

Came immediately for an estimate, got estimate emailed to me shortly after, set up time and date within 2 weeks of estimate, showed up on time, worked fast and efficiently and had everything done in 2 days, on day three a few men just did some finishing touches and everything was complete. The roof looks great! Everybody was professional, worked hard, respectful to me, my dogs and my property. Highly recommend! Will use them again for some things around the house once I save up some more money.

    Lentz Roofing

.Larry was hired to do both the roofing and the siding. He had been recommended by two trusted friends. The roofing was done with appropriate skill level except for the drip edge which allows water to run efficiently into the gutter on the front of the house. The gutter was installed over ten years ago. He did not tighten the gutter. Water easily flows behind the gutter. The chimney flashing was installed properly.

I am a single woman. It is easy to explain that something has been done properly when it has not been done at all. But I have many friends to guide me.

Larry did not install the lights properly. It was obvious he did not understand how to wire one particular light which caused a breaker to blow each time he tried. The lights were installed on new siding double four inch which made flat installation impossible. No attempt was made to buy proper kits so the lights could be installed correctly. The way he installed the lights will allow water to get in behind the fixtures. The electric doorbell was shorted out and left undone.

Holes were left such as around pipes and at places where the siding comes together at corners. These are large enough for birds to nest and pieces to come loose.

The metal drip edge attached to the roof edge along the peak sides is not only bent and old and obviously not replaced but left with inconsistent size pieces very obviously sloppy.

Larry's men did reinsulate at least one window which had not been properly done when installed.

Larry did not stay with his crew. He left to observe other jobs, I assume

    Affordable Construction Plus
I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company...in addition to the things listed above as completed, they were also suppose to respackle an additional 2 bedrooms and fix loose siding... they NEVER COMPLETED THE JOB. Nor did they RETURN any of OUR MONEY for the work that was not completed!!! We received a check from our home owners insurance, this was all new to us. the company was highly recommended to us bc their were family members who knew Todd and said he wouldn't do us wrong. We didn't receive an estimate from the company. The owner was only interested in how much our check was for. Todd Alexander the owner of the company was standing there when the check was handed to us and took control of it IMMEDIATELY. He Never gave us an estimate. They would give us a day they were going to start and not show up or call to tell us they weren't coming. They tried to leave our old shingles on and put the new ones on top, so they could use the black sheeting we paid for, for some other job! When they returned to do the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms they were suppose to move the large furniture ( the check paid for this) the guys showed up and got an attitude w/my husband bc Todd assured us he would move it and didn't so the guy walked out on the job and refused to come back. When we called Todd he said all other contracted spacklers were scheduled out 4+ mos, he didn't hire one to complete the work and when contacted about the remaining balance he told my husband it would only be pennies...then said a few hundred (that may be pennies to him, but its NOT to us) he said he would send an invoice of where the money was spent bc we questioned the amount he owed us. We NEVER heard from him again, and he didn't answer his phone when we (or family members) called,  nor returned msgs we left. We have home owners ins bc we can't afford to pay for these things out of pocket and the jobs are STILL NOT COMPLETED.

    Miller Yoder Roofing LLC
Erik Miller responded to my request for an estimate very quickly. He was polite and thorough and explained in detail what he was going to do. When the crews arrived they were prompt and worked professionally on the job. They took great care to protect landscaping and patio furniture. When finished they cleaned everything beautifully. I am very pleased with the work done and the price was reasonable.

    Randy Anker
I called Randy on Tuesday the 8th; he came right over to inspect the old Water Heater Installation to make sure what needed to be done.  He told me what I already knew; I needed to install a new Hot Water Heater.  We came to an agreement, I gave him an advance for materials, he said he would be back the next morning at 1000 (that 10am for you land lubbers).
He showed up on the 9th with a new Hot Water Heater and the materials needed to install it properly.  He drained and removed the old Hot Water Heater and installed the new Hot Water Heater.  If he hadn't forgotten to get a few feet of electrical conduit the whole procedure would have only taken him around two hours.  It ended up being around 3 hrs.  But all in all I was more than satisfied with his work and he guarantees his work.  If anything goes wrong he comes back and fixes it.
The price you see above is the total for the new Water Heater, materials, and Randy's labor.  I figure he saved me at least $200.00 and from all my research I figure it's more like $300.00.  That and he does great work.
I really need to add that Randy is a General Contractor; his business card says "Home Improvement Expert".  I thought it worth mentioning that he also does Roofing, Siding, Decks, Doors & Windows, and Gutters.  I think he also installs Air Conditioners, but I'm sure if you call him he can tell you what he can do for you.  And I'm betting he will do great work and save you some money.
740 683 5396.  Since this is a new review I thought I would include Randy's phone number in the review, just in case.  This number is a local Zanesville number.

    Rick Evans Roofing
His pricing was very reasonable.  This is a small family owned company. He removed all the debris, and did a terrific job. He put a tarp over the leaky sky light until he could get to it.  We didn't expect him to go above and beyond.  He even cleaned out our gutters!  We will use him to demolish my mother in laws garage.  We definitely will use him again for any roofing issues.

    Troyer Roofing
Once they got there, they were really fast, but because of that, quality suffered. They punched and tore lots and lots of holes in the black paper underlayment with the way they "stapled" it on , didn't use a chalk line to insure shingle rows were straight and didn't measure the spacing of the vertical rows, so therefore did not get them even. Some varied as much as 2" in some places.
Leroy assured me they would measure the area to be covered to get the spacing correct and that they would use a chalk line to get the rows straight. I did not see them do either and the rows are not as straight as they should be and the spacing on the vertical part of the gambrel roof is not consistent and that is obviuos to anyone who looks at the spacing. (how many inches of each row of shingles is showing)
