    it went really good. he did the work and explained how the treatment solution that he used would fix the problem I was having was going to be resolved. I have not seen anymore bees come back. and he gave me a tip to remedy my bee sting. I would definitely use them again.

    I had been battling an ant problem in my kitchen for a while..the ants were coming in through the large window. The provider was quickly able to come out and assess the problem and place baits. These ants were pesky and kept returning but Economy Pest Control was very responsive and easy to work with. They came out whenever I called to place more baits, etc and finally rid us of our ant problem. I will be calling them for any future pest problems and would gladly recommend them.

    Hersh Exterminating Service Inc
    The amount of $463.32 is for the year. You pay a monthly recurring charge of $38.61. They don't provide service monthly, it's 3 times per year. So they were at the house on 6/30. Charged my account $38.61 on 7/1. Then another charge for $38.61 hit my account on 7/16, two weeks later at a very bad time. They insisted it wasn't an error on their part. They had to bill me 2 times in July because my service was done on 6/30? I was insisted they reverse that charge and they did reverse it eventually. Nothing in the contract specifies when you will be charged or when they will perform the service or how often. I mistakenly assumed they would be out once a month and would bill me that day or the next. They set traps and I figured they would be back out to check the traps the following month. Nope, they'll be back in 4 months. If I smell a bad odor and I think it could be a dead mouse, I guess they would come back if I called them and made an appt. or I could just search for the trap and empty it myself. For that kind of service, I should've set the traps myself. That's the easy part. Lousy billing practices and the woman who answers the phone can't really help with anything, because she's basically a sales person. You can't speak to billing, so you ask to speak with the owner and he never calls you back. Beware, you'll get a hard sell for the monthly service when you call but it's not worth it. When I asked to terminate the service, I was told that would not happen because I signed up for a year. Gotcha!  So this business is automated, basically. Easy money!!

    After reading the provider's response, I just have to laugh. They never informed me that they would dissolve my contractual obligations. They never provided a resolution to me. When I spoke with the owner he said he had to think about it and that was after arguing for 20 minutes. Typically, he never got back to me.

    The first time they were scheduled to come, which was a week prior to the date of service, it was raining. The guy came in and said he had to reschedule, because he couldn't properly inspect the outside perimeter for entryways. Seemed reasonable. He also told me that because I have 3 cats and we only saw 1 mouse, it was unlikely that we had an infestation. Also seemed reasonable. So the following week another guy comes to the house. We were scheduled between 11:00 and 2:00. This guy comes at 9:30, when my son is in the shower. He says later that's when he checked the outside perimeter, and found nothing. So he comes back and because we said we saw mouse in downstairs bath, he goes right there and fills in hole behind plumbing. Finds another hole behind plumbing in upstairs bath, fills it in. Gabbing constantly with my son...small talk. Spent another few minutes looking for signs of mice. Done. Maybe 20 minutes. No traps set. Never looked in attic or oversized garage that contains a small room. No traps were left or set. When I spoke with him later, he was like trust me, I saw no signs of mice. Yes, but we had one. He said, well that was a flook. Call us if you see anymore. I said WHY? I'll call someone else who will do a thorough job, so I can have some peace of mind. It's the standard rip off. Less for more. BTW, they get their payment upfront. Hand them a check upon arrival or call in your credit card number before hand. $365, no matter what the work entails. That doesn't even buy you a mouse trap. Was supposed to include a follow-up visit. For what? In hindsight, probably shouldn't have told them where we saw mouse. Might have gotten an inspection for my $365. My mom referred me but I will never use this company again, she will never use them again, and the condo assn that I am treasurer for will never use them. Must say that after I complained to the owner, she gave me a full refund.

      John and his son are true professionals . I would recommend them without reserve.
      The appointment time they set up was met .  I gained valuable advice and knowledge from them during their stay.
      They did a thorough inspection .
      I had an ant problem and they made sure to check Everywhere that might give me problems.
      They sprayed where they deemed necessary and showed me why.
      I was told not to expect Immediate results but I in fact did.  
      I have used other big name companies before and had nothing near the great results I have experienced with Besic.
      If there was a further problem I could call them back.  I honestly think they did it RIGHT the First Time!!
      Kudos gentlemen!!!  I am One very Happy Camper!

    I originally called in Oct. of 2014 because I heard a small scratching sound in the ceiling of my living room.  The tech came out on Oct. 31 and spent a long time in the drive talking to his boss.  When he came in he insisted on getting a check for $481.50 before he would  check the attic.  I gave him this check even though I thought it strange but he said this is company policy.  He stated that he and his boss decided I had squirrels in the attic so when he went up to the attic he left 2 squirrel traps.  When he came down he said he didn't see any evidence of squirrels but saw lots of mouse droppings.  He also stated that the 2 gable vents no longer had any mesh on them but he didn't want to cover them in case the "squirrels" had a nest of babies up there and he left.  
    I called him back a few days later and said that if he didn't see evidence of squirrels why didn't he put mesh on the vents and treat for mice?  I questioned his statement that there could be a squirrel nest up there with babies in it.  Squirrels do not have babies at the beginning of winter!  He came back on Nov. 4 and removed the 2 empty squirrel traps and out 2 more in the attic, put mesh on the exterior of the 2 gable vents.  On one of the vents he put a one way door for the "squirrel"  to get out.  When I stated I wanted the mouse problem treated he stated that would be an additional $210.  
    On Nov. 22 the tech returned to remove the 2 EMPTY squirrel traps and to remove the one way door.  
    I never had a squirrel problem but since this was more expensive that a mouse problem, it was decided this is what I had.  I had to pay up front before it was ever inspected as to what the problem was.Subsequently, I have found out the according to Ohio law, it is illegal to require full payment before any service is rendered.  I have contacted the company several times and this situation has not been remedied.  
    I want a full refund from this company!  They are very corrupt and are taking advantage of people!  Do not ever call them for help!!!!  Incompetent, expensive and doing business in an illegal way.

    Mr Hersh arrived ahead of appointed time, evaluated the problem and gave us treatment service and cost.  He also, at my request, gave us annual service information plus cost for same.  He had the office call us to schedule their service, and Richard came the next day at the appointed time and performed complete service for the carpenter ant problem and also treated both inside and outside of our home completely, including spraying for wasps he noticed nesting in our porch rail and our window shutters which annually draw nesting bees.  He also assisted me in finding the source of the moisture which was apparently bringing the carpenter ants which turned out to be small openings in the grooves in our concrete front porch where the floor met the brick front wall in a number of places.  I'll be sealing these with caulk to prevent further moisture issues.  All contacts (the office staff who took our calls and scheduled the work, Mr Hersh, and Richard who performed the work) were all professional, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful; and we highly recommend their service!  We signed up for their annual service and look forward to seeing Richard in a few months (or earlier if we have other problems).

    When I realized that I had raccoons entering the soffits on my house and getting access to the ceiling, I initially thought about trying to deal with the problem myself, but wasn't sure where to start and realized that If I screwed up, I could make the problem far worse.
    I called and spoke with Rodney who came out with his sons and decided to go with them for the job.
    They came out and provided a free and accurate estimate with a 1 year guarantee on their services.
    I was a little skeptical at first about they methods they were using, but I deferred to their expertise. Sure enough, it worked like a charm. They first got the raccoons out of my soffits/ceiling and then did a thorough job on exclusion and denying them access to the roof.
    They were prompt, courteous and professional and stuck to their estimate, and considering the work they had to do and the alternatives to their service, the price was quite reasonable..
    I would definitely utilize their services again if needed.
