ALyons Electric IncRich Lyons is the most honest man out there. He treated us like family and advised us of items that we didn't realize at the time would be very important with the electrical needs of an older home and new construction with a mother in-law suite. He is amazing with older folks and his entire crew is responsive and thorough. I would not use anyone but him.- JOSEPH N.

AMcMurray ElectricKent fit me into his busy schedule quickly for what was supposed to be some routine fixes. As he went through the house, he found things that hadn't been done properly and were potential dangers to my kids and I. He let me know of these issues and didn't leave until they were corrected. He went above and beyond to make sure we were safe in our home. I can guarantee he would do this for anyone. He's a wonderful person leading a wonderful company.- Cassie H.

AM E S Home ImprovementI had Mike add a master bathroom last year and I still love it every time I walk in there. His prices on everything were reasonable, and the quality of work was excellent. AEagleton Electric LLCThe fan in the rafters of my garage quit working and my garage was very hot. Chuck came and looked at the fan. It needed a new thermostat which he ordered and returned to install. The price was quite fair and the work was professionally done. He also gave me a quote to do a couple more small jobs which I will have done in the future.- lynne z.

AHome Solutions HandymanThey were very prompt and patient with my explanations of all the projects I would like to have done.Very expeditious with getting the estimates back to me. I have not hired yet. Still trying to get a couple more estimates for comparisons but seems like everyone else comes out, gets ideas of what I need done, then never hear from them again so haven't had anything to compare House Medic with. I do appreciate the responses back from House Medic. Once I have everything finalized, I'm sure I will be hiring them for some of the projects. Only complaint I have is both times I had estimates done, some project was forgotten on the estimate. That is one reason for the second estimate, which is not easy to arrange with my work schedule. I still don't have the estimate for refinishing my hardwood floors, which I had asked about the second time out. First time out was about the roof which is the most major concern right now & that was forgotten until the second estimate. Overall though, I really appreciate at least getting the response back and his promptness.- CARLA D.

AWe plugged in a vacuum cleaner and the outlet sparked and blew out. The house had a burn smell to it so we called Hilscher Clarke for an after-hours review. The electrician arrived after 9 p.m. We had to pay an after hours fee and were willing to do so to ensure we didn't have a burning wire or insulation - were safe in the house. The electrician took the outlet apart, replaced it, and inspected the other outlets around it.

AHad a lot of work done. I needed ceiling lights, connected to wall switches, put in for 4 second floor bedrooms, which had no existing light fixtures. Ed cut holes in the ceiling and installed 4 electrical boxes (fasten 3 studs and one brace). Then he went up into the attic, ran wire to the wall switch, and put in new double switches. He then installed 3 ceiling lights and one ceiling fan. Next he went back up into the attic and ran new wire into 5 closets, and installed lights in them. Those lights were connected to the double switches he had installed before. Ed then replaced an older ceiling light with a new one. Finally, he replaced a couple of older breakers with new ones and put in some blanks too. Ed charges a Flat Rate for the work, so if it takes longer, it does not cost more. He is very profession, shows up on time, and works hard for the entire time he is there. I plan on having him come back in the future to do some more work that needs to be done.

FDuring the initial meeting when we received our estimate and up until the day we signed our contract, we were very pleased with our decision to go with Mike and his company. He had lots of information to pass along, plenty of "5 stars" and "A Ratings" with documentation to prove it. Lots of wonderful talk and paperwork showing how important his clients were to the success of his company. Once we signed our contract everything began to go downhill. It took more than 3 months to get the new roof put on (was told no more than 4 weeks, weather did play some of a roll in this so we didn't hold a grudge over it). However, they came and installed an entire new roof and tear down in one day while my wife and I were at work, no notification they were coming or working at the house that day. No chance for us to see what it looked like below the shingles, no chance to meet his subcontractors, no chance to take the dogs somewhere for the day. The very first rain came just a few days later, we had 2 new leaks. Mike wouldn't return our phone calls and it took another 8 weeks for them to come out and fix the damage (on the outside, we were responsible for all the new damage inside the home). Another 5 months went by, playing phone tag and exchanging text messages with Mike. We were continually told we were next on the docket for gutters. Finally we cut our losses and hired another company to do it instead. No apology, no coverage for new damages, and overall a terrible experience that I would not hope for any homeowner. In the year and half since, we have had to do more repairs on our "new" roof, and rather than use our warranty we have paid to have someone else come and work on our home. Our money deserved to have gone elsewhere.

AReally nice people, straight forward, educational, reasonably priced, good guarantee. They spent a fair bit of time educating me of what was to be done. The crew doing the work ( Brian, Matt, Steve, and Joe T. ) made quick work of a large job, putting in 110%, while being very friendly and professional throughout. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Bwhen tech showed up the dryer seemed to be working and heating however it did not when I called, seemed the heating element was cracked creating and off and on working condition. I went ahead to repair the problem by purchasing a new heating element. I was surprised however that the tech expected me to pay in full before he ordered the part and repaired the problem, but I did using my credit card knowing if there was a issue the credit card co. would have my back, The part was order and Alex fixed it as soon as it came in and was great
