    I sent the below letter to the shop on July 23. Having had no response, I am posting it here. ___________________________________________________ I called several times hoping that I would have an opportunity to speak with you about my recent experience at your auto body shop. The fact that to this date I have not had that opportunity is the last of a long string of frustrations and disappointments I have had since bringing my car to your shop. I think that as a small business owner, it is important for you to know and understand what my experience has been, and so I am writing this letter instead. I contacted your shop on Saturday, June 22 on the recommendation of a friend who had recently had a good experience working with you. That morning, I spoke to your uncle and told him the problem I was having, and he advised me to bring the car in so he could look at it. I asked if I should bring it in that day or wait until Monday, and he said to bring it in then. When I arrived, he looked the car over, and told me that he���d need to order a part, and that he could not do so until Monday, but that he would order the part immediately and that I���d have the car back by Tuesday evening. I returned Monday morning to drop off the car. The next day, I received a call from your shop: expecting to be told that the job was finished, I was surprised when I was asked to come back to make a half payment of the estimate. I would have been happy to have done when I dropped the car off, if I had been asked at the time, but I was now in the position of needing to return for a third time to make the payment. When I returned to make that payment, I went to retrieve an article from my car, and I was alarmed to find that it was sitting, unlocked, outside the shop, where any passerby could have quickly and easily gained entry to it. Later that week, the shop called to tell me that the car would not be ready until the middle of the following week���a week and day after what your uncle led me to expect���and that the repair would be more costly than initially estimated. And lastly, when I finally picked the car up from your shop���now the fourth trip I had to arrange either via Uber or asking a friend to drive me���I found that my air conditioning was no longer working. While I acknowledge the very real possibility that this was purely coincidental, it marked the latest of a long string of disappointments and frustrations. I wanted to speak with you about these, and tried three times to reach you at the shop. And instead of receiving a phone call from you, I spoke to your uncle, who immediately began arguing with me over the phone. I hope you can therefore appreciate how from start to finish, my entire experience with your body shop has been uniformly unpleasant, why the air conditioning is only one of many things I hoped to discuss with you, and why I would now conclude that you are not at all concerned by the fact that I���ve had these experiences. I am still open to a phone call���my number is [redacted], but you really should know how soured I have become on your business.

    The Honda Store
    The battery in my wife's 2015 CRV failed yesterday. After about 30 minutes on the charger the car did start. It was too late in the day to get to The Honda Store. As I had to leave 6:30 AM for medical appointments in Pittsburgh, I put the charger back on the battery overnight, removing it when I left. My wife told me that the service department told her that the battery was covered under warranty BUT......because I had charged it, it would not be approved for replacement. I spoke to the service manager while returning from Pittsburgh - he told me that the battery did not fail the test that is required for replacement. When I asked why the car would not start yesterday he had no answer. When I asked if the old battery was perfectly good he said it was. $150 cost that should have been under warranty.

    1) Center shifter was locked in a ���Park��� position. We had it towed to the mechanic���s garage on May 20; & picked it up on May 22. 2) We instructed the mechanic to keep costs to a minimum, as we intend to sell the vehicle. 3) The mechanic did instruct us that a ���permanent-fix��� for the center-shifter would require ordering a new shifter to replace the existing-shifter. 4) Overall, I am very disappointed that his ���temporary-fix��� only lasted 3 days. We have decided to take the vehicle to a different mechanic. 5) As such, rather than changing/revising my original review, I am respectfully requesting that my ENTIRE review of Gasper���s Garage be permanently removed/deleted from Angie���s List. 6) If you have any additional questions, feel free to email me at Thank you.

    He said that there was no functionality for it. He just unbolted it. He didn't charge me a thing for it. I though it was very kind of him. He just put it on the rack and took the rubber piece off and that was that. He was just so kind he really was. We have been to him many times over the years. He is our go to mechanic. His prices were very very good. I would use them again absolute.

    I had a $10 off coupon so it was $46 or something like that.  I would certainly recommend them.  I make appointments, but you don't always have to.  You can just drive up there.  That makes it convenient.  Their waiting area is very nice.  Big screen tv, beverages, coffee, popcorn machine, etc. It's very nice. The workers were very polite and professional.

    The company is busy, so you will need to schedule an appointment ahead of time. However, the employees are very kind, honest, and helpful, and it was worth the wait. Larry kept the old parts to show me what had gone wrong, even without me requesting it. The price was very fair and I would be happy to use them again.

    Originally took our car in for an unusual problem with the brakes overheating. Let me tell you it was not an easy problem to figure out. This vehicle had been to a well known chain vehicle repair garage AND to a dealership, and the car was so messed up between those two places we were thinking of just getting rid of it.  Jim Gasper checked out our car and found the

    brakes were incorrectly repaired to begin with including an ill advised adjustment on the brake pedal itself done by the dealer.

    He repaired our car at a VERY REASONABLE PRICE !  He keeps you updated on what's going on with your vehicle and explains

    everything in an easy to understand way.  This young man is a very good mechanic HONEST AND DEPENDABLE !

    We wasted 2 hours waiting for these people before canceling.  The dispatch strung us along.
    They told us the tow truck would be there in an hour and the driver would call en route.  After an hour and a half with no call, my father called them back and they said the driver was on his way.  30 minutes later, my father called the dispatch to ask where the driver was and the story got even shaggier at that point.

    Drop-off, ID issue, repair, and pickup within 4 hours, with no advance notice. They even noticed my coolant was low, and filled it up. Great price and speed. Don't expect a lot of talking and communication however.... But for a great price and honest service I'm ok with that.
