    All Decked Out 513 LLC
Justin Schmidt, project manager for the deck and patio, and Jonathan were the ones who started and completed our project of the deck and patio. They stuck it out to the end. They battled horribly muddy conditions and cold weather. I never got to meet the fence project manager. Justin was very professional and took the time to answer any of our questions. Jonathan, was very dedicated to the project. He even worked on Thanksgiving day! I happen to take a picture of the guys with my youngest. He's always curious about building. The crew was very patient and even managed to let my son (think) he was helping. Justin was very meticous about how things looked and made sure his crew all understood his expectations. Jessica and Joe are very upfront about their pricing. You can see the passion Joe has for outdoor space. You give him an idea and he runs with it. Jessica took the time to answer many of my questions and broke things down for me. Jennifer set the tone and the standard was upheld. Now we have a awesome looking deck, a patio and fence. The project itself took long while to complete, but the weather played a huge factor. I'll take this type of quality of work any day.

    Clover Creek Construction
Our concrete porch was out of alignment with the roof of the porch, so John was able to adjust the placement of the new posts to make the project look perfect. This was the second project that Clover Creek did for us, and we have already talked with them about our next job. I would recommend this company.

    KS Painting Services
I am very pleased with the work provided by Keith and his crew.  It started with me contacting Sharon to set up a quote; Keith was right on time, and I received the quote the following day.  I was pleased with that procedure as it meant that there was actual thought that went into it and not something off the top of his head.

As the scheduled day approached, Sharon contacted me concerning color choices, and I supplied her with the information.

On the appointed day, Keith arrived with a two-man crew, and they set to work power washing the deck to remove all the lose/chipped paint.  They spent approximately two hours power washing the deck to ensure that it was a thorough job.  Once that was done, Keith started painting the deck and the crew moved upstairs to start stripping the wallpaper.

This is a 150 year old house with plaster walls.  In some of the other rooms, we had found as many as four/five layers of wallpaper.  They lucked out - there was only one.  Once the paper was down, they repaired some of the imperfections on the plaster walls so they would have a smooth surface to work with.

The next day they painted.  It was a two-tone paint job with an accent color for the chair rail.  They made sure that all the furniture was covered (antiques) so as not to get paint on any of it, and proceeded to paint.  I love it.  And as soon as I finish the decorating I will post some pictures.

All of the people of KS Painting were extremely professional, friendly, and I will gladly hire them again.

I called & left a message for an estimate on refurbishing my deck.  I provided my name, phone number, and location, but after almost 2 weeks no one called me back.  When someone says they will call me back as soon as possible, and they never call back, then they won't get my business.

    MRC Concrete LLC
MRC did an awesome job. Matt was very creative with his ideas for redoing our porch and creating a new living space with a concrete patio. He made sure everything went smoothly during the project. Matt was very organized, friendly, and professional. One of the things I was most impressed with was his communication skills. He made sure that I knew when he was coming to my house and that I knew how long the project would take. He called when necessary to update me. I also like his honesty with the price of the project and what he thought would look the best with my house. Since the project has been completed I have gotten so many compliments that people can not believe that it is concrete. I would recommend MRC any day.

    Aurhause Renovation & Construction
These guys do outstanding work. Very detailed with trim work....to the point of absolute flawless perfection! They show up when they say they will, work very hard, and always clean up before leaving for the day. We'd definitely use them again in the future. Highly recommend!

    Knisley's Construction
They were very accommodating, but the quality and knowledge of some of the contractors was questionable. Tile on the shower floor and the fireplace was done incorrectly and had to be redone. Parts of the roof had to be redone, as well. Within the last 8 years we have had to put $5,000 into the house, out of our own pocket, because of things that weren't done right the first time. The Timbertech deck that was installed in 2012 had to be taken done and built with new Timbertech, because of faulty installation.

Rob came within 24 hours of my phone call to give me the estimate. He described the work he would do and gave me a fair price. We had such a great interaction with him that within the day we decided to use him. After some rain delays, he came out and finished within one day. It looks great! We'll definitely be calling him when we are ready to do the driveway next year.

    CITY WIDE FENCE CO
Highly professional from the very first conversation!   Initially we were only going to have the backyard fenced for our dogs.  But, because City Wide proposal was so impressive and within our budget -- we were able to also have them install a 10x16 deck and still remain well within our budget.
The dictionary should list City Wide Fence, Mr. Bob Perkins and Bryan & Keith under the definition of PROFESSIONAL!  When the city inspector came out to inspect the footers of the deck, he brought up an "issue" about the fence being to tall.   Keith approached the situation with professionalism.   The inspector was being difficult.  Keith immediately contacted Mr. Perkins and told me not to worry about a thing. The fence was within code, and that the inspector just was not understanding.  The following day, when arriving to continue working on the deck, Keith told me that Mr. Perkins had spoken to the inspector and there was nothing to worry about.  Apparently the inspector had to be instructed about decorative toppers on fence posts do not count toward the maximum height of the actual fence.
The entire job, fencing and deck, took them less then a week to complete --- during a very rainy month.    Mr. Perkins came out and inspected Bryan and Keith's work. HIs inspection was not necesssary, Bryan and Keith absolutely know their profession inside and out.

    Deck Pros
We hired them to build a three layer 1500sq ft deck.  Steve came and bid the job stating he would work with the contractor here onsite to coordinate the framing of the deck and a room that was being built underneath. He assured us he would waterproof and flash the deck against the house to protect against water getting in.  They did neither!  We have had leaking since. They came and saw the framing of the room below and were upset since they never came and saw it before (even though we called several times to coordinate) instead we had to cut thru the new roof to allow him to place the posts.
We were told they would place a rubber blanket across the joists to make another layer of protection against water...they didn't and so we have had water problems ever since. We called them several times to only get Steves wife who would just tell us she would have him call...he never did!
We finally had to hire a new company to fix it...the had to tear up the back 18" of the deck to re-flash...they didn't even place the flashing properly...it was flat just making an easy way in for water, not diverting it away!
Plus they didn't put the rubber on...so too much water is coming in!His lead guy he had on this job (Larry) had a very cocky attitude everytime the county inspector came and said things were wrong...he just argued with him and said after he left he was doing it his way!
They "claim" they are custom builders and will do it how you want...but they don't!  I wanted special railing so it didn't look so cookie cutter...they said they wouldn't do that, if I wanted that i would have to do it myself...so I did!  I built all my railing and they installed it...then only discounted 1000.00 off the price...far below what it would have cost them!
Steve showed up at the end rushing around telling everyone to hurry they had been on the job too long (1 week in the rain) and was hurrying everyone to get out. They might have finished in better time if Larry wasn't leaving early everyday so they could go bid more jobs!
They returned and built the front porch and trellis a week later...this was a huge disaster!  Larry came and didn't care he just wanted to hurry...he didn't properly place the posts so they were not secured at all...the thing looked like crap!  The trellis was only screwed in to the siding and not secured at all.  It wobbled and would fall anytime! County came and looked at it...the railing was not secured and blocked the walkway...every step was a different height...this w3as failed by County and we had to hire someone els to build the front porch!  The trellis had to be rebuilt and secure to the house studs!
Steve NEVER answers his phone...his wife does and she has no clue what is going on...she will tell you he will call but he won't! Steve sent his wife to collect money from us for the front deck...even though we had left several messages for him...we said he had to come and show us why we owed him since it was failed and we would consider paying...he never showed, nor called!
Save your time and money and stay clear from this company!  Buyer beware!!!!!
