    STITCHES N SUCH
I supplied two tops to be quilted on 8/11/15.  They were ready by the following week, 8/18, which I consider to be a very fast turnaround time.  To say they were well done would be selling them short.  They were exquisite, and expertly quilted by Cheri Vandervort, a true quilting professional.  I am so pleased.  She took extra care in just what quilting design would bring out the best in each quilt.  They are nothing short of extraordinary, and I wouldn't hesitate to put my cherished projects in Cheri's hands again.
The cost has been omitted in this review, as I feel each quilt merits its own set of price considerations.  Cheri can provide an estimate for both simple and custom designs.

    Alterations While U Wait
The first dress I took there of my daughters was to be shortened and straps added. He measured to make it floor length. When I took her back to try it on it was too short and the straps were very loose. They were able to fix the straps ,but not the hem. I was still charged full price. The second time I took in 2 formal dresses ,one for my daughter ,it was the exact same dress as the first time ,but in a different color. Paul was suppose to shorten to floor length and add straps. I reminded Paul that the first dress was too short and he assured me it wouldn't happen again. When we went back and she tried it on the dress was again too short and the straps were put in the wrong spot. The dress that I brought in was a chiffon formal dress . He was to hem it to floor length and adjust the straps. My dress ended up being too short also. Paul who is a master tailor said that chiffon tends to shorten up after you cut the length because there's less weight. If he is a master tailor and knows that then why wouldn't he mark the hem to be longer to make up for the shrinkage. I also found out from another employee ,Travis ,that Paul the master tailor doesn't do the sewing on the women's dresses ,someone else does.So Paul the mastor tailor only does the measuring. It's very misleading.Paul did steam my dress and that helped, but I asked him if it could shorten up again and he said yes. So I feel like the dress is ruined. If it says master tailor then he should do the work, not someone else. I again paid full price for dresses that are now too short by no fault of my own other than thinking the first time was a fluke.I am very unsatisfied.

    KIM'S FINE DESIGN & ALTERATIONS
iMy daughter is small, needed several dresses shortened, and some more complex alterations on the bodice of several dresses.  The initial fitting was done on a walk in, quick, thorough fitting, very knowledgeable.  Work was completed by promised date, dresses were pressed, hung, ready to wear, flawless sewing.   When I went to pick them up, there was bad traffic.  I called from my car, owner waited for me to arrive and walked dresses out to my car to make sure they didn't winkle.  She is a gem!  Will definitely go back, recommend her to others :)

    ROBBY'S QUALITY ALTERATIONS
I needed the dress rather quickly for an event I was going to and Robbie was able to alter the dress for me in a very short time. When I picked the dress up, it fit perfectly. The price was fair considering he was altering a ball gown. I will definitely use him again.

    BEN'S ALTERATION & TAILORING
Two of the items were ready a week later. The jeans needed to be patched using denim that matched better than what they had on hand, so we waited another week for those. When we picked them up, they had done a really nice job on what had seemed like a lost cause. My son was very pleased to have his favorite jeans rescued.

    NORTH COLLEGE HILL CUSTOM TAILOR
The entire experience was so wonderful. It was my first visit ever to a tailor and I could not have been more pleased. The shop has been in operation by a Greek couple for the last 30 years; she does alterations and sewing for women and he does the same for men. They accept cash or checks only and I did not have to put any money down. I decided to pay half when I went for the final fitting. The balance was paid after I saw the completed product. Great, great work and kind, professional tailors. I would love to recommend them to others.
