Scott's communication was done well and was very clear so we understood exactly what was being done and made our family feel very conformable about all the work that has been done up to this point. We expect to be using his company/services next spring when we plan to do a new roof over our patio.

It went fantastic. It took them longer to do the job than expected because of the weather. They were here everyday they could work and the patio looks fantastic. They did a lot of stuff. It was great. I think the price was good for the work they had to do. They had a heck of a job. He and I have talked back and forth, not he himself but the manager who came out. He's great. Everybody who came out was good. I will absolutely use them again.

The estimate was reasonable and in line with other estimates. We decided not to do the job. I really liked them and would definitely use them if we decide to do the work. He was very prompt and his communication was good.

This is excellant company - a family business with their own work crew and no subs for the construction work. Very professional and great to work with. I will use them aagain for my kitchen re-modle...

I was not happy with them, but they were professional and everything was fine. They just seemed a little pricey. They did give me a price and I found them too expensive. I did not get it done. They tried to get me to agree that day, which I thought was a little bit strange. They come out and give me a quote at that time, and they want me to agree to the work at the time of the visit. It seemed to me, they were a bit strong on the sales side. I hesitate to grade them as they didn't do the work for me. They gave me a quote and were very professional. They provided some interesting information. Their professionalism was very high but I would not consider them for any work in the future due to their high prices.

The work performed improved the value of my Condo. He worked hard to find the best price for the items that he installed. I was happy with the timeliness and quality of the work done. I would ask Rod to do any further remodeling on my Condo and recommend him to others.

During construction: went okay overall though they left the area pretty messy and left tire tracks on our neighbor's lawn. They took care of the permits. One thing that I didn't like: they didn't completely remove the support posts for the old deck; they just sawed them off at a height of 4 feet, and then just built the sunroom over top of them (using new supports for the sunroom). This left the storage area underneath cluttered with existing posts, and limited what we could do there. A couple weeks after construction, I realized a couple of other construction-related problems: 1. The rain gutters were too small to handle the rain, and they were also banked the wrong way. This caused rain to frequently overflow out and next to our foundation. I had to install additional downspouts to correct the problem. 2. They left a good section of our house's insulation exposed to the elements underneath the sunroom. I had to call them back to address it. They covered it up with boards. A couple months after construction, this is where the real problems started: 3. What they had promised (a "Four Seasons" sunroom that could be enjoyed year round) turned out to be very misleading. It was HOT in the summer and COLD in the winter, even with ventilation and fans circulating room from the adjoining room. Very disappointed with this!! Even adding a large heater made it only barely tolerable in the winter. The windows & doors iced up on the inside unless we had the heater going constantly (which made for very pricey electric bills!) 4. Water dripped from the skylights. They claimed that they were not leaking, but was "just condensation" coming from the inside. They further said that our "Four Seasons" room was not meant to be heated and used in the winter months, and this is what caused the condensation problem. Unfortunately, their brochures and online info had pictures of other sunrooms that they had built which contradicted this: they clearly showed similar sunrooms having heaters and even hot tubs installed, so their explanation didn't fly. They came out several times to try to resolve the dripping problem, and eventually took care of most but not all of it with different types of insulation and caulking.

    KEITH DINGUS HOME IMPROVEMENTS
We had removed deck installed by previous owner and found that due to the poor quality of the deck installation the walls of the sunroom to which the deck was nailed to had experienced water damage. It was important to get the problem fixed before installing the new patio we were planning to have done. It was very hard to even find someone to come and give us an estimate, let alone do the job (too small for a contractor). Mr Dingus was sympathetic to our dilemma, came within a week and gave us an estimate, and offered to do the job in another two weeks. His estimate was reasonable and somewhat less than the other estimate we had received from another contractor. We chose to go with Mr Dingus as he took a lot of time to explain what needs to be done, how and why. He undertook the work, was done in three days and did a thoroughly good job. He provided us with very detailed itemized receipts for the materials used, as well as for the labor. We are very pleased with his attention to detail, his work ethic and his eagerness to help. We surely foresee using him in other small or big jobs of remodeling or repair we might have in the future.

    Eagle Specialty Remodeling
As with any home remodeling project, we had two bids, conferred with the Angie's List specialists, and plunged ahead with making our screened in porch respectable. Scott impressed us from the start. He came on the day and time he said he would to give us an estimate. His careful questioning and brilliant architectural knowledge led him to make suggestions to us that made our porch even better than we would have thought it could be. It turned the ugly duckling part of the house into the sophisticated and beautiful swan we love. Scott explained all our options carefully and made certain we understood our choices as well as the price. Eagle ordered the materials and when they arrived, they sent Mike to our house to do the creative work. What a guy! He is a gentleman and an artisan. He did much more than tear down old walls and mix cement. Mike made certain all walls and windows fit securely, corrected our poor drainage, and relaid the patio stones so they fit better than before.

AN ANGIE''S LIST REPRESENTATIVE DID MAKE SEVERAL CALLS TO THE COMPANY ON OUR BEHALF, WHICH APPEARED TO HAVE SOME EFFECT. THE PROJECT FELL FAR BEHIND SCHEDULE, UNRETURNED CALLS, AND POOR CONSTRUCTION. THE HEAT PUMP WAS INSTALLED OUT OF PLUMB, THE SKYLIGHT GLASS WASN'T UP TO CODE, AND THERE WERE LEAKAGE PROBLEMS WITH SOME OF THE WALL INSTALLATION. THESE ERRORS WERE MADE CORRECTED, AND SOME COMPENSATION WAS MADE FOR DAMAGE TO OUR GARDEN. WE ARE NOW PLEASED WITH THE ROOM, BUT UNPLEASED WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THIS COMPANY, OR THE FRUSTRATION WHEN TRYING TO OBTAIN A RESPONSE.
