Health Care Facility reviews in Worthington

I needed to find individual health insurance quickly, outside of open enrollment. I had no idea where to start, and found Dorothy here on Angie’s list. I contacted her on a Holiday, and two days later I was enrolled in a good plan at a very reasonable price! She spent a lot of time with me on the phone walking me through every step, and comparing plans. The whole process was quicker and easier than I expected, and it was obvious that Dorothy enjoys helping people.

The pharmacy I use is CVS Pharmacy. Just about everything stands out about CVS. The store is clean. The pharmacy itself is very professional. Everybody in the store are very friendly and very helpful. I would grade them an 'A' all the way through.

It was a clean and calm environment. The staff was reasonably friendly. There were three people ahead of me, and I was seen within 20 minutes. The doctor was conversational, but professional, and did a good job. I live in Worthington, but this is where I plan to go if my daughter or I need urgent care.

I looked for insurance through the Marketplace and Anthem indicated that my doctors were convered. I signed up and no, they weren't.  They failed to accept my continuity of care petitions (except one minor one, which was the least needed).  In addition, an unknown child showed up under my dental coverage as my dependent.  They still haven't removed the name.    I contacted corporate headquarters and 6 months later, still no resolution. I truly believe they are waiting me out until I go with another insurance in the new year.  However, I am considering initating a class action law suit, since the person at corporate told me that many others were similary misled.  I filed a complaint with the Ohio Dept. of Insurance and Anthem hasn't even been as responsive with them as they should be. It has been 6 months and still no resolution. Meanwhile, I am not able to get the care I need.

I was seen by Dr Cataland who reassured me that the irregularity in my blood work was very likely not a good reading. Blood as taken. All questions answered and when we left, we felt very relieved as well as confident in the follow up to come. And Dr Catalnd was right on the money. The testing came back normal. He contacted my surgeon to assure them that my procedure could go on. My only frustration was the time we waited. On the other hand, with the James being a cancer hospital, one would expect a) that the Dr would be very busy and b) with the number of patients being seen delays are going to happen.

We had to spend the night for some testing for my son. He needed to be monitored to find out what is wrong with him. The experience was good. They were very friendly. Since it is a children's hospital, they have more stuff to help keep him occupied while they have the testing done so it won't be too difficult for us. It is difficult to confine a toddler in a room so that helped out. They have people to come out and play with him too so it would give me a break. The staff and the service was very good.

Crosby's is on my insurance provider's list so I have gone there twice to fill a prescription for pressure stockings.  Both times I went to Crosby's, I was fitted for the stockings, the stockings were ordered, and I paid up front.  Both times, I have provided my insurance info and asked to be charged the "allowable amount" according to my insurance provider.  Both times, Crosby's says the allowable amount is $90, and that is what they charge, then when my insurance is processed I find out that they are supposed to charge me $63, not $90.  When I call (which is a slow process - lots of being transferred and put on hold), the woman I speak to says she is waiting for a check from my insurance company.  When I contact my insurance company, they say the process is complete on their side (which I already knew b/c I received confirmation from them) and that a check will not be going out to Crosby's b/c the entire balance of the stockings is going toward my deductible, no refunding required (which I also already knew before I made the purchase).  It took weeks the last time I did this to get a refund from Crosby's, and I am now about 6 weeks into the process of trying to get a refund this time.  My advice: go somewhere else, but if this is the only place on your provider's list, DON'T PAY CROSBY UNTIL YOU HAVE THE PRODUCT IN YOUR HAND AND THE CORRECT AMOUNT is BILLED.  It takes less time/frustration to find out what they should be charging than to be overcharged and have to jump through all the hoops of getting a refund.  Good luck!

Health insurance is a crazy crazy thing and finding someone to help navigate the waters is the difference between getting the right coverage or finding out the hard way you did not get the right coverage.
Jesse was exceptional in helping to clear up questions I had about maternity coverage for individuals in Ohio.  I was leery  about using a broker outside of Ohio, but Jesse turned out to be very knowledgeable about the market and I felt confident placing my trust in him.  I had been told by another broker that I could get this coverage and Jesse set the record straight.  I was so relieved to have spoken to him and not moved forward with the other guy.  It sickens me to think what some people will tell you to make a buck.  Jesse was so great in explaining what my actual options were and helped to guide me to make the decision that was right for me and my family.  I decided to join my husband's plan rather than buying an individual plan but will absolutely use him for our dental coverage.

They set up their appointments on a regular basis with me and were always here when I needed them. They came when they said they were going to come. Sometimes they were held up with other patients so it took a little longer to get here, but they always called me to tell me they would be a little late. I've recommended them to many of my friends who have had home health care.

I take a very common generic medication and decided to take advantage of the $10 generic drug program. When I went to pick up my prescription only part of if was filled. The pharmacy had run out of this medication (this was a Saturday). I was told to come back on Tuesday for the rest of it. I returned on Thursday and the medication was still not available. I was told to come back the following Tuesday for the rest. It appears to me that the pharmacy must not be completely filling their inventory. I am thinking of changing pharmacies to one that I will only have to make one trip for my complete prescription.
