    Bradley Builders Inc
Brad is very knowledgeable and explains the process of what he will do and how he works. He was great at explaining what was going on with the leak and the repair. He was punctual and was able to help us get the leak fixed much faster than other service providers. We appreciate Brad's hard work and would hire him again if our roof needed any work.

    Kicking Ash Chimney Svc
I have used Kicking Ash twice for sweeping and also for parging the smoke chamber. The technicians are very knowledgeable and personable. They know their stuff and give you options of how to best repair and maintain the fireplace. It is amazing how many folks pass up a $100 chimney sweep annually and end up having costly repairs down the road. Using Kicking Ash is money well spent. Call or email in advance to get the best scheduling. At busy times, email response can be a bit slow.

    Newman Roofing
Wonderful! Amazing! They are the best contractor that I have ever hired. I would hire them again without hesitation. They installed a new roof several months ago and no leaks have occurred. They replaced plywood below the roof and did not charge me for all the plywood because the actual count exceeded their initial estimate. They discovered an issue with the chimney cap, then patiently explained what I should buy. When I showed them the item to confirm I got the right one, he took a few minutes to install it for no additional charge. They take good care of their loyal crew and it shows. The crew takes great pride in their work. Many thanks to Angie's List who helped me find such a good roofer.

    Utmost Renovations
Things got off to a bad start when Rick Walker, the salesman, missed the very first appointment for a consultation at my house, which then had to be rescheduled. When we met, I described what I wanted which I thought was reasonably straightforward. It took three weeks before I finally got a written proposal, and it was almost completely devoid of any detail. I asked Mr. Walker for more details on the entry porch part of the project before I could make a decision, including some drawings to help me visualize their proposal. It took another 10 days before a sketch was provided, but it was for the side porch only. I asked for a drawing of the entry porch again and this time the president of the company, Mark Huffer, assured me they would get back to me "very soon". Four days later, I asked for an update on their promise to deliver a drawing. This time, I received a quick response from Mr. Huffer to call him ASAP. I called Mr. Huffer at this point and he immediately started making excuses about Mr. Walker and how busy he was. He then told me that he was "probably" going to let him go, which I thought was unprofessional to be telling me as a customer even if it was true. I was pretty frustrated by this time and said that in my business experience, you should not be making excuses like this. It was now over a month from my original inquiry and all this delay was compromising my ability to get the project done on my timeline. At this point, Mr. Huffer actually hung up on me. Since Utmost Renovations did not do any work for me, I cannot speak to their ability to do a masonry job. However, as a potential customer I am appalled at the way I was treated. Even if there was a "bad egg" salesman, which is one thing, the unprofessionalism of the company's president speaks even more loudly.

They get in and get it done. Awesome job. It took about 2-3 weeks before anyone contacted me about a start date but when they did it was usually within a few days. Their estimates lack the detail that is desirable. Makes it difficult to determine the cost when there are changes made. Everyone was pleasant and professional.

    Bradley Builders Inc
Brad is a true professional in his craft. He is extremely thorough and knowledgable when it comes to roofing needs, and operates with the utmost integrity. As with any other home repair service, it is difficult to find a roofing company that can be fully trusted to do the job well, for a fair price - Brad and his company do just that. It is obvious that he takes great pride in a job well done, and will provide you with his honest opinion of repairs you actually need. Other companies tried to convince us to complete additional work that turned out to be unnecessary according to Brad. Furthermore, he takes the time needed to really understand the scope of each job, meeting with customers for an in-depth conversation before the job starts. Finally, Brad is great to work with on a personal level. At the time he completed our job, we had just welcomed our second baby to the family. Knowing how hectic our lives would be, Brad offered to pick up materials needed for our job and was very respectful of our time while working on our home. I should also note that he was on site for all phases of the project, which is rare and provides extra peace of mind for the customer. Thank you Brad for your excellent work!

    Richardson Exteriors
Overall, we were satisfied with the work. The work was done in a timely manner, on schedule, and on budget. We had several special requests which they handled very well and without complaint which impressed me. I expect we are much more detail oriented than your average customer and they dealt with our questions and issues gracefully. There were a couple of things we wished were addressed as they were encountered (drip edge that was not installed properly, some bare decking in a valley, and a couple of aesthetic issues). Instead, we had to bring it up ourselves. Ron and Kurt realized work had to be redone correctly, and it was. Ron was very understanding and apologetic and worked hard to correct the situation. Personally I would have liked them to call as soon as there was an issue and give us a few options rather than push forward to get the job done quickly.

    Richardson Exteriors
We needed a new roof and siding, after getting several estimates we chose Richardson Exteriors. We definitely made the right choice. Ron Richardson, the owner, walked us the through the decision-making process (color choices, type of materials, etc); making suggestions and answering all our questions, without high pressured sales tactics. Once we made our choices, he worked with us to schedule a time that was convenient for us. All of the employees were polite, courteous, and as unintrusive as possible. They were also respectful of our home and us. They cleaned up after themselves every evening, down to making sure there wewn't any nails on the ground. The workmanship is superior the quality of the materials is excellent. When we had concerns, they were answered immediately and either corrected or explained, to us, why it was done that way. If we ever have need of any other exterior work, Richardson Exteriors will be our choice Highly Reccomend!

    Doctor Flue, inc.
two professionals, prompt arrival, persisted through several trials to get the insulation perfectly sealed into chimney space around steel flue, shared photo findings inside chimney to keep me informed, were exact in instructions re operating the gas logs (remote, pilot light, safety practices), offered immediate response to any questions that might have at any point in future.

    New Buck Chimney Sweeps
We have used them in the past for chimney repair and chimney sweep and have been very happy with them. This time the women I scheduled the appointment with was rude and unpleasant. The man who came to look at our problem was unfriendly and not very informative. He said he would give us a quote to fix our cap that rattles in the wind and we never heard from them. Very disappointed since we had such good prior experiences and now I still have a cap that rattles!
