AAROUND THE HOUSEI would like to leave a comment here about the work that Around the House did for us. We are getting ready to sell our home so we had our own pre-inspection done, which uncovered a list of about 25 items that needed to be fixed or replaced. I searched on Angie’s list for a handyman who had an electrical license/experience, as well as skills for all around home improvement, and obviously someone who had good reviews on Angie’s list. Around the House had them all, so we chose to contact them. From start to finish it has been an absolute delight to work with Around the House. To begin with, they provided us with an excellent estimate in writing, through email, before they came out. Of course some items they could not estimate before seeing exactly what needed to be done, but of the things they could estimate before seeing they did. That gave us a good understanding of where to begin. All through the process Around the House did a phenomenal job. They communicated well and often, they fixed or replaced all items that we needed, and they did so in a timely manner and to our complete satisfaction. Rick with Around the House is very knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, respectful, and he works hard. He also understands the need to be frugal and so he helped us cut some costs without cutting quality, simply by doing things a little differently than we had originally thought. This was much appreciated! All aspects of this project were done on time, on budget (or even in a couple of instances, BETTER than budget) and to our complete satisfaction. We give the highest recommendation to Around the House for anything that needs to be repaired/replaced in your home. You just cannot go wrong with them. AFastLane TowingCasey rescued us from Amish country after everything was closed and no other towing company would help us. It was cold, dark, and snowing. He was willing to tow our car all the way to Columbus even though he had already been there once during the day. He was extremely professional and personable during the 1 1/2-2 hr. drive. He did not have to take us to Columbus because the nearest Hyundai dealership was in Akron. He is the only AAA tow truck driver in the area. He works 24x7 and is on call. Some of the services he provides are lockouts, jumpstarts, tire changes, fuel delivery, motorcycles, as well as light/medium duty towing. He also services some vehicles in his garage. I was blown away with how reasonably priced it was, the dealership wanted hundreds, key techs made and programmed my key for half, if not less than half of the dealerships price. DOn Jan 9th I ordered a 4 drawer AMSEC Stor it Cabinet AND two AMSEC Jewelry inserts 1375033 from Indehomes that were advertised on their website. I did receive the cabinet on Jan 23, but without the two ordered jewelry inserts.
I called and talked to Andrea about it and shortly after that I received, without notice, a refund for the inserts. I did manage to get her on the phone and she said she would check into it. I then received an email telling me they were discontinued and she could not find them.
I wrote her back telling her that AMSEC had 18 in stock and even gave her the phone number to call. I again didn't hear back from her, and she wouldn't answer the phone, so I had to call her from a number she wouldn't recognize. She did answer and she sounded so sincere when she said she would really check into it. However, to this day I have never heard back from her.
In the mean time, I ordered them from another company (and paid more for them) but received them in 8 days.
They were very nice on the phone the few time I could get a hold of them; however I would have appreciated sincerity instead!
They rarely answered their phones and I never used their Live Chat when anyone was there even though I tried many times.
